The 'Fall of Yugoslavia' tour with our guide Alan and driver Faruk was fantastic... so informative, it helped to put modern Bosnia and Herzogovina in context and with first-hand memories gave us an insight into how this amazing resilient city held out during the horrifying 4 year siege. Our tour was affected by the recent floods in the area but communication with the company was excellent throughout. They kept us up to date with the situation and any changes that were required. Almir was a absolute joy welcoming us all to the new itinerary, he balanced knowledge with funny stories and great music. It was a long day but a wonderful way to see more of the country. Very humbled to hear first hand accounts of the war and how life is here now. Will have to come back to see the falls.

Our hotel arranged a private four hour tour. Allen our guide customized it based upon a few questions he asked at the very beginning. He is a student but his knowledge and personal communication skills are greater than his age. Context is king, and he was able to explain Bosnia’s complex history in a way that was easy to understand. Make sure to book with them and ask for him.

A very interesting afternoon tour of Sarajevo, with an in depth explanation of everything the city has gone through. I don't want to use the word fantastic to describe the tour, given the sheer level of violence and loss of life, but it was well worth taking the tour. Our guide-Armin was fantastic, very knowledgeable, and with a good dry sense of humour, which I enjoyed.

My wife and I were lucky enough to spend a couple hours with our host family in Sarajevo. I am hesitant to give out any personal family details of the visit, as this occasion was quite special for all of us, and those details shall be kept between us. I will say our initial contact for the evening was a wonderful young woman, who guided us through the evening with our host family. She assisted with translating, and our conversations. It worked out wonderfully. Of course we were treated amazingly well. We had so much fun. And I was indeed hungry, and warned them I had a huge appetite. I did, and the food was amazing, start to finish. I even got to the point where I had to tap out, on eating. They had broke me with all of the wonderful food. The food was great, but the company and conversation was even better. I/we did not take any photos during our visit, but we have amazing memories to look back on. Thank you.

The booking process was simple to use and I quickly received a confirmation email, the lovely driver was on time to collect me from my air B&B apartment, the van was in excellent condition and the driver dealt with my luggage for me, the driver talked to me about my time in Bosnia and seemed interested in what things I had done and what I thought was the highlight, as an older woman travelling alone feeling safe and secure is important to me, both the tour operators I used looked after me perfectly, in fact everyone I met in Bosnia was lovely and also helpful, beautiful country lots to see and do, meet Bosnia tours thank you for getting me to the airport in plenty of time for my flight

This was a wonderful tour. The guide (Arna?) was excellent and gave us the history and so many details about what we were seeing. She was so considerate about mobility issues and bathroom breaks. She was very clear about when and where to meet at each stop. The stops were all so interesting. Definitely take this tour.

Thank you Arna for the lovely experience. The driver was excellent at driving and they brought us to see many beautiful places. I love how the trip includes water and sandwiches for everyone, on top of that they come and collect you and leave you at your hotel too if you need to. If you don’t want to rent a car or don’t have much time I vividly recommend this tour. Bosnia is a beautiful country and deserves more tourism.
