          Fabulous Day Trip
This was a last minute decision as I was waiting on the weather and it turned out to be a perfect day. It was an easy, comfortable journey with easy border crossings. The lake is absolutely beautiful. The town of Ohrid is picturesque and superbly located on the shore. The Ottoman architecture and winding streets were so nice. I think I would return spend longer there just relaxing. It was nice to visit out of season when it was not so busy. My guide, Engjëll, was super informative and friendly - we had a great day.

I recommend to all the people in this world to visit Ksamil and do the tour
First time when we have been to Albania was last year during summer and we were very excited and in the same time worried because was our first time in this country. We booked the prive tour from Tirana to Ksamil and all went perfect. I never thought i can find such professional team and water as in the MAldives in Albania. I recommend to all the people in this world to visit Ksamil and do the tour.

This was an enjoyable afternoon spent learning about traditional Albanian ingredients, dishes and how to prepare them. Sindi was a generous and kind host and teacher . Thoroughly recommend!

          Great Balkan tour!
Engil was a fantastic guide. He knew the history, the politics, as well as the best places to eat and shop. And his English was perfect. Thank you for a great trip!

          Unique and Educational Tour!
This was easily one of the best food tours I have ever taken. Aron, our tour guide was exceptional, knowledgeable, and taught the group and I so much about the food and the complex history of Albania. I have actually been here in Albania for the last two months, visiting museums and taking other tours. But this was a different experience altogether, and I learned far more in 4 hours that I learned in the last two months. And the food we tried was not only delicious, but had stories behind them as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

          Endri was the consummate guide
It was a long but spectacular day. Our driver and guide Endri was superlative and I cannot say enough about his efforts, which included navigating some difficult driving conditions amid road construction and traffic. I highly recommend this excursion.

          Valbone-Theth
Our experience with Go As Local on the Valbona-Theth trek was exceptional. The organization was top-notch, the guesthouses were charming, and our guide was simply the best—passionate, professional, and full of interesting insights. Every part of the tour ran smoothly, allowing us to fully enjoy the stunning nature of the Albanian Alps. Definitely a five-star experience!

Great for solo and groups, better than I could have expected
Had the best time and was so worth it! This was my first ever cooking class and the instructions were well explained. Intertwining some of the history of Albania during the class made it interesting and engaging. All dishes are easy to recreate, delicious and filling. The homemade wine was also great. Sindy was fantastic, very charismatic and accommodating. It was a lovely experience can’t recommend it enough.

We did all 3 tours (Montenegro, Macedonia and Kosovo) as U.K. government had just stated Montenegro was off the RED list and as we were in Albania we could see 4 countries in 5 days ...A bit mad and as we were with our guide SKERDi I for all 3 trips each day we had a joke about seeing him in 12 hours as the days were quite long!

Great to see all the sights and have food from the region while you are their too which adds to the experience along with an informative guide.

3 quite different countries to visit as well. Wish we had more time but we will be back sometime.
Albania is not what most people hear about, and is very much growing with proud culture and recognition of its history convinced me this was a great up coming country with a huge future ahead of itself. We were recommended some fantastic local (Albanian) restaurants ( Mullixhiu) which we enjoyed Very much too!

From start to finish the booking process is very easy and would highly recommend booking if your in the area

Great trip loved it thanks again guys ! 🙌

This was an amazing trip. I was totally unsure of what to expect from Kosovo and both Pristina and Prizren were incredible cities to visit. My guide Andi was brilliant, informative and exceptionally well versed in Balkan history, as well as happy to answer any questions on the complex history and/ or current affairs of the region. The cities are amazing and for me a stand out in the Balkans. I would absolutely recommend the company as a solo traveller and can not speak highly enough of the professionalism of Andi.

A nice day trip with a smal group of 3. It included hotel pick-up and drop-off. Our guide was very polite, spoke English very well and explained lots of things. He was very patient as well with a lady that was asking the most absurd of questions and was kind of disturbing the group. It was not possible to walk much in Prizren, as it was too hot and there is construction going on in the city centre. The food in the restaurant in Pristina was not very good.

We were really pleased with our trip, Andi was excellent and incredibly knowledgeable. Andi went above and beyond to ensure we had a great day and managed to see the sights of Kosovo. He even recommended a Kosovan restaurant in Pristina so we got to taste it too. Doing this private tour gave us flexibility to ensure we saw what we wanted to see in Kosovo. It was like being shown around by a friend. Thanks for a great day Andi.

My husband and I wanted to visit another country while we were visiting Albania and came across this tour to Kosovo. This was a private tour with us and two guides (Andi and Skerdi). From start to finish I cannot fault this tour. Andi's knowledge about literally everything is unbelievable and Skerdi's amazing driving skills were second to none. We were picked up on time as previously arranged and due to it being a private tour, we had a part in choosing where to visit and how much time to spend at each location. By the end of the day we felt as though we had known Andi and Skerdi for years. They were so relaxed and welcoming and we genuinely laughed so much our bellies hurt. We contemplated renting a car and doing this on our own but we are so glad we went with the tour instead. I think I would have had a panic attack driving myself, however Skerdi was amazing. Everywhere we went Andi could translate for us (most people speak English but it's still nice to have someome who knows the language). Prizren is absolutely gorgeous (extremely cold in January by the way) and I think we would definitely go back to visit there again. Pristina wasn't as quaint as Prizren but I'm still glad we went there to see all the history there. Things to note.... Make sure you bring your passport for border control, and some Euros for when you are in Kosovo. We never had euros but managed to get some from ATM easily enough. If you do a bit of research before hand and there is anywhere in particular you want to see, Andi will do his best to get you there (time permitting)... Otherwise he will mostly stick to main highlights. We had an interest in particular things so our conversations and facts pointed out to us revolved around that. (I love churches and my husband loves learning about the history of the wars and independence). Unfortunately the bears were hibernating at the Bear Sanctuary (how rude haha) which we really wanted to see although it's not officially on the tour. I would highly recommend a restaurant in Prizren called Beska if you can hold off til then to eat. The food was absolutely delicious (a massive platter of meats, salads and breads which we all shared). Genuinely loved this tour and my husband and I will remember this day for many years to come. A massive thank you to Andi and Skerdi for sharing their day with us and being the best hosts ever!! :)

With limited time in our hands we decided to go for a Day trip from Tirana to Pristina and Prizren Kosovo via Go as Local Tours.
Andi was our tour guide and he made us comfortable throughout the whole day.
We first made a stop at Pristina and head to Prizren for lunch and the tour. We liked both the cities however we preferred Prizren more.
Andi was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. He took care of us the whole time and made us feel so comfortable.
I recommend this tour to those who want to explore other cities / countries with limited time. Hopefully when we come back to Albania we get to explore the other regions of the country with the same tour company Go as Local.
Thank you Andi for making this trip amazing.

Our group of 4 had a great day trip from Tirana to Kosovo this month. Although it was a long day, Pristina and especially Prizren were very interesting and our guide and driver, Redi gave us a personal view of the history and recent developments in the area and the interconnections between the people of Albania and Kosovo. Go As Local worked with our group to provide us a memorable day and I recommend this trip.

A fantastic day out and this was not my first time crossing the border but the ease of this border makes it a calmer day out as there was no stop. The Albanian countryside is breathtaking and Daniel ( my guide ) was from the area so he was passionate about it too. There is a lot of driving but when you are with someone knowledgeable and passionate the time flies.
The tour gives you a lovely combination of history to the modern. I was aware of very little of the history but Daniel shared so much that I felt so comfortable exploring. Prizren is a modern and European feeling Capital and without a guide you would miss so much of the undertones.
Go as local are fantastic at meeting the needs of their customers too and they make the experience unique to you and as a result more memorable

This is a long tour (11-12 hours), but the weather was nice and the scenery along the road is lovely. Also my guide, Engjell, is a very entertaining and knowledgeable person, who made the time go by very fast.
If you are staying in Tirana, and want to experience Kosovo in 1 day, this is the way to do it.
