We rent a 4x4 with rooftop. The communication was good before we started the trip. De rooftop and equipment was new. It’s a simple tent from decathlon, with a thin matras so be aware of this when you rent it for a longer period. My boyfriend had bad nights with his back on it. Then there were some really necessary safety issues with the car to be aware!! First day we start to drive off-road, in the rainy we find out that, the windshield whipper on thr driver’s sight didn’t work, we had to push it couple of times to let it work and see the road. Dangerous! -Stop lights en right turn light didn’t work, - Back door didn’t get in his lock, so we wear not able to lock to car properly. Because of this the rain 200km/u cam in to the backside of the car and all our laugage was wet. - locket or the box at the front seat didn’t close, we had to fix it with own tape. - we had to drive back to Tirana to let all of this fix. It are safety’s before that should work before heading out this as a rental car for expensive price per day! They fixed the backdoor with a locker from outside, and put a rail at the back door, so the rain couldn’t go in anymore. We went on further with the trip. - speed monitor didn’t work - the plate to open de windows automatically is lose - to open the doors automatically you put the key in the door of the driver side, still you can’t open all the doors and have to open it form the inside with your hand. - when in the car, the handle of the driverdoor didn’t open well, you had to push it many times. Dangerous if you need to go out in case of emergency! - steering wheel is pulled to the left from the axel when we had to stop hard for another car in from with our brake. We almost hit the side of the road beceause the car was pulled by the axel to the left! - the belt from the passage chair was broken, so it was not fixed anymore in the gear house. All of this felt us pretty unsafe to drive in this car. Because of the weather we deside the bring the car back to days earlier. We supposed to sleep in the rooftop for 2 weeks but slept only one! We never saw Mimi and saw two times different people, by the start of the rental period and at the end just a friend to pick the car up by the end. He still wanted to charge us for not washing the car?! But I think to rent out a car is this bad condition you must be feel shamed!! I have a send an email with feedback and that’s it’s not safe at all to rent out a car in this conditions! We feel betrayed by a price of 110,- a day. We are didn’t get any answers back and any discount for all the inconvenience and unsafety conditions from the car!! That’s why I will share this story to safe other people. A shame! And dangerous!! Rent your car somewhere else!!! There are better companies around!

This trip was AMAZING! As a solo female backpacker I've done a lot of tours all over the world and this tour was nothing short of amazing. The day started with an awesome drive out to Bovilla. They supplied us with water and made sure we were all comfortable. Not only did they take us to the spots where we could get the most incredible shots they took our photos like a pro. I have so many incredible memories and amazing photos from the experience. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour to anyone going to Tirana!

Eri took us to lake bovilla and it was an amazing experience. Not very challenging hike and climbs with breathtaking views and lake Bovilla swim was very refreshing. Eri also explained the history of the area very well to us and took us to a nice restaurant afterwards. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone in Tirana.

Amazing trip the host was super friendly and very knowledgeable about bovilla lake and is definitely worth doing. It only takes a few hours and the hike isn’t that long so you won’t need proper hiking gear, make sure to bring a bathing suit and a towel for the swimming as the lake is lovely to swim in after the hike.

He brought us safely to the Bovilla Lake and took care of us the whole day. He even drove fuerher up so we didn‘t have to walk up in the heat. Can only recommend maning a tour wirh Lost in Albania :)

I had such a wonderful day discovering a hidden part of Albania which is not far from Tirana. Cruising to Cape Rodon in a Jeep was a lot of fun with our guide Erald. I absolutely loved the hike to Cape Rodon's castle with such beautiful views of the Adriatic along the way. Thanks for a day to remember!

An amazing week of hiking and a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Our guide Mimi was absolutely the best: friendly, knowledgeable, flexible, and fun. We loved traveling around Albania and got to experience so much of the country we would have missed if traveling on our own. The hikes, sights, and food were all amazing! Simply put a stay in Albania is not complete without a tour by Leo! I did the 4 day UNESCO tour of the southern half of the country which was extremely interesting and scenic. Leo and I got along very well which has made me determined to return to Albania one day with my fiance and join Leo again if he is still doing his hiking tours! Gezuar! :)

Flori was great driver, very caring and with great sense of humor! We tried “Bujtina.. “ and loved the great food and the warm welcome. The pristine nature in Theth and blue eye was like no other on earth!

The tour gave me an insight into Albanian History and culture. The tour guide, Dionis, was excellent and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in Albanian Culture.

I normally never write reviews, but this one definitely deserves it - in only a positive way! Hands down, Leo was the best tour guide I’ve ever had. I was the only one for the trip to Theth and was already a bit skeptical about going alone and if it would be awkward, but Leo made sure to make me feel safe and comfortable during the whole time. Not only is he an incredible knowledgeable guide with a good sense of humour, but he’s also a very good photographer. I believe I stopped several times and took photos of every corner, but he was extremely patient and kind and kept asking if I wanted a picture taken. Thank you so much Leo for showing me the beauty of Albania and for giving me a unique, fun and an unforgettable trip!😊

I want to thank Leo and Get Lost in Albania for giving me such a wonderful day first in Kruja (castle) and then in Shkodra lake, peacefull place full of beauty with the mountains in the background. I ate the lake fish specialty, don’t miss out such a delicacy ! Leo told me so much about this beautiful country, it’s history and way of living. That will remain a memorable trip.

Mimi was a great guide and driver. Four members of my family were on this tour and we were all fascinated by Bunk’Art. It was sobering to see how the Albanians had to live under their ruthless dictator. I highly recommend this tour.
