- CalBear0070 contributionsSeamless Transfer to/from Airport to HotelI researched a few airport transfer services and this had the best price with good reviews. After booking directly on their website, I received an email confirmation. I arrived early morning from LAX and someone was waiting for my arrival (TTF also has an office right outside luggage claim). We waited about 20 min for our car to arrive but other than that it was a seamless trip to our hotel at the Marriott Momi Bay. The driver was very friendly and told us a lot of history and facts about Fiji which was very appreciative. Our return was seamless as well. The driver met us on time in our hotel lobby. He wasn't as talkative as our first driver but that's no biggie. Both trips were private transfers I recommend booking this service directly on their website since I had no issues with it.Written August 23, 2024
- angelakollmann0 contributionsWorst experience everThis was the worst service in whole Fiji. At first they charged us 3 times the amount of the airport transfer fee. And the website showed us that our credit card is not working. Therefore we assumed we couldn't book anything and took a taxi at the airport. Two days before departure we got an email that we missed our arrival pick up and the 3x airport transfer fees were charged. They apologized and provided the transfer for the return. As we had an early flight the driver should arrive at 4:40 am. We waited for over 35 minutes at the hotel lobby and no one arrived. Again we had to take a taxi which was very pricey. This is the worst company. I do not recommend booking this unprofessional service.Written August 15, 2024
- 193countries0 contributionsUnsavory Business PracticesUnsavory business ethics - I had a two day flight delay on my recent South Pacific trip - when the plane was finally fixed and I was rebooked I no longer needed my hotel in Nadi due to my rerouting - I went into the office at the airport and was told I’d get a 100% refund due to the situation and since my transfer wasn’t schedule till later that evening. When I got back home, I received an email that I would be getting a 80% refund. I wrote back and said this was unacceptable. They wrote back since I questioned them now I will only get a 50% refund and they processed it. Now they won’t respond to any of my emails. We’re not talking about a lot of money, but that’s NOT the way to take care of your customers. Too bad because there were some very nice people that worked there. I will now contact the tourism board of Fiji to report this action. Use another company - there are plenty!!Written August 7, 2024
- walkaboutkiwi0 contributionsResponsive, professional and friendlyBooked a private bus transfer for a large family group of approx 30 from Nadi airport to the Shangri-La hotel. Everything was perfect! Meet and greet at the airport was great with warm and friendly staff, the bus was awesome (very comfortable and had aircon) and the driver was hospitable and professional. The winner for me though was the booking process and communication from their booking/admin staff. The initial quote was quick and easy to understand and payment was easily made via credit card once everything was confirmed. Leading up to the trip we had to make a few last minute changes to passenger numbers and adding car seats for kids etc, but nothing was too much of a hassle. Communication (all via email) right the way through was excellent! Very responsive, clear and friendly. Thank you TTF!Written May 2, 2024
- Venture392196125640 contributionsDo not use - unreliableOn arrival in Fiji we had booked this company as our transport to the Shangra-La. We went to to the office at the airport to collect our transport we were told we would have to wait for the arrival of the next international flight ( it was due to land in 1 hr) and the other guests on that flight then we would all travel to the hotel. As they only had limited vehicles and drivers. Hence we weren’t going to wait 2-3 hrs as they suggested. We found our own way to the Shangri-La We asked about a refund and told we were not entitled to one as we had cancelled the serviceWritten January 1, 2024
- sothereiwas600 contributionsTransfer from Nadi Airport to Shangri-la Resort and returnWe booked a transfer from the Airport to the resort. Pickup was very efficient and professional. The car was a late model SUV, very clean and tidy and comfortable. Our driver (Viliame) was excellent. He is a careful and safe driver, is very considerate and helpful, is very generous with his local knowledge and makes great conversation. We enjoyed his company so much we asked for him on the return trip. Highly recommended.Written October 24, 2023
- Daniel S0 contributionsGreat for kids, clean and easy - ask for Viliame!Viliame from TTF has helped us with transfers twice now from Nadi airport to Denarau, and his service is outstanding. Friendly, well presented and on time, he also arranged clean and tidy child seats for our two children. He was knowledgeable on the area, and made the trip fun after a long plane ride. We enjoyed him so much we asked for him again in our recent trip and found the same - he even remembered what bus my son liked and used it to collect him which, being 3, was the highlight of his trip. He is an asset to TTF and a great representative for Fiji when tourists land - his joyful spirit made us feel special. Thank you Viliame and TTF - we look forward to using your services again!Written October 23, 2023
- ozzalina0 contributionsDont use it if you don't want to be disappointed.I strongly suggest not to use this service and just get a taxi for transfer. It might cost you a bit more but you save yourself lots of time and energy. When we got to Fiji - we ended up waiting for another travelers to clear immigration and customs, the van was average but driver were friendly. Departing to airport was different story - firstly I wanted to change time of pick up for a later one, I called twice, first time the person on the phone had no clue of what is happening, transferred me to nowhere ..second time lady did seem to know what's going on. She stated that since other people need to be picked up on the way, she could not change time of departure. She offered me to upgrade to private transfer for extra $40 odd dollars. When I asked if I could cancel the trip, she said there would be a fee and she could not do it on the phone as she needed to talk with her boss. Anyways, I asked again if there would be other people on the bus going to airport at the same time as us, and hence the inability to change time. Got eyes and said we will be there for pick up at 4.50 am. Well guess what, shuttle was late, we were the only people on it. No other people picked up. 'The bus/van was making sounds as it was about to blow up. Driver did not bother to help us with the bags, and we arrived at filthy Nadi airport way before we wanted to be there. So the moral of the story, like everything in Fiji this company is a mess, only wanting your $$$$. Dont use it if you don't want to be disappointed.Written October 12, 2023
- U6892QCjessieb0 contributionsNot goodBooked our cab prior to flying through Tourist Transport Fiji to get to our hotel from the airport and ended up paying double the rate that you would getting a cab on arrival. Our driver was rude and aggressive in speech and made me feel uncomfortable travelling with my young family. Not the experience you wish to have starting off your holiday after long travel. The driver was not of Fijian descent.Written August 5, 2023
- cb20028120 contributionsGreat day! Village tour was disappointing though! Our driver Ron was amazing! He gave us so much information about local history and culture as we drove to and from all of our stops. The first stop was the temple - we had visited this ourselves the day before but were more than happy to go back as it was so beautiful. It was much better with a guide - he told us about the stories behind the painted ceilings and the figures the temples were dedicated to. Next we went to the produce markets. Our driver showed us around and then we wandered by ourselves for a bit. We chatted to some of the vendors and sampled some fresh produce. The kava at the market was much cheaper than in the commercial stores or duty free shop. Our third stop was the village - we were quite disappointed by this. This was actually the part of the tour we were most looking forward to as we wanted to experience more of the culture and speak to some of the local residents. Upon arriving our tour guide - a volunteer from the village - instructed us that before our tour we would need to look at the tables of handmade goods the local women were selling. She followed us at each table and we felt we had to make a few choices of things to purchase. She tried to get us to go back to the tables we hadn’t chosen anything from. Unfortunately (or fortunately) i didn’t take much cash with us that day so after committing to a few items i was completely out of cash. She then began the tour which lasted less than 5 minutes. We were so grateful to be allowed in the village and get to learn more about the culture. We couldn’t help but wonder if the tour was intended to be that short or it was because we had run out of money and had nothing left to tip with (as she had strongly suggested a few times that she accepts tips for her work as a volunteer tour guide). The last stop was the Orchid Garden. This was our favourite part. The garden was so beautiful and walking through it was like being transported to another place. At the end of our time wandering around we were welcomed back with fresh fruit juice. There’s also a cat that hangs around who you might be lucky enough to see and pat!Written June 3, 2023
- rebeccacoolkid0 contributionsWould Use Again! We spent the day with our amazing tour guide, Vili, who was an absolute delight! While he drove us around town he was able to share some insight into life in Fiji as a local. He pointed out local highlights and was such a conversationalist! My husband and I had hoped to have him again as our driver the next day, but alas, we did not. Anyone who has him as their driver is lucky and will enjoy the day! Thank you!Written May 22, 2023
- zgd1230 contributionsA Bula Experience. Our overall experience with TTF was outstanding. The welcome gift was really very special. The pickup was been delt with in an friendly and caring manner. - willida11280 contributionsExcellent serviceEasy to book online, affordable, prompt. Met us at the office at the airport and confirmed our return trip. Prompt arrival at our resort very early in the morning. We appreciate learning more about Fiji from our drivers.Written March 26, 2023
- Samantha S0 contributionsHorrible transferWe got this for transfer to and from our hotel. Easy to find, receptionist very nice. But that's it, We had to wait 45 minutes after we boarded because we choose shared ride. We do this all the time however we never have to wait for another flight to land and wait for passengers. Also the hotel was 13 minutes away so we could have been dropped off in that time. Pick up, waited, nothing, 20 minutes later called and they ask me to hold so they could check with driver. 5-7 minutes away. nope 20 minutes late so 45 minutes after we should have been collected. We had to load our own luggage and he didn't even talk to us. They forgot about us. Not a shared ride (bus) a car, with a driver whom scared me so bad l nearly asked him to stop driving and pull over. He was speeding and swerving in and out of traffic and clearly had never driven a manual before.Written January 7, 2023
