We visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, and I was thrilled we had time to see the Craftsmen Fair. It was nice seeing the locals selling their crafts of Montevideo. Javier showed us the Citadel Gate, and we saw the Artigas Monument. He also shown us beach side communities. He is very knowledgeable about the history and various Montevideo's communities. Javier was so proud of his city so he took us to as many beautiful sites as time allowed. I use a cane and he was so considerate of my disability. We enjoyed the photo opportunity stops along the way along with his explanations about Uruguayan history and their current way of life.
