          What your?
Tour cancelled 19 minutes prior to start time after we had Ubered from across Lima to meeting point. Don’t know how we can be expected to rate it beyond one star and ridiculous you are asking us to rate it at all. Very disappointing and a huge inconvenience and waste of our limited time during first time visit to Lima.

          Tour of a delicious city
Lima is one of the most delicious cities in the world. The food is amazing and very reasonably priced (for Amerians). It's easy to find excellent restaurants for gourmet-ish cuisine, but it's also nice to discover and try-out local, everyday Peruvian fare. That's what this tour is about. Our guide, Alejandro (actually from Cuba--but, 9 years in Peru) was knowledgeable, entertaining and an overall good guy. He took us to 4 restaurants in Barranco and we had a nice tour of the main eating/entertaining area in the district. The restaurants varied wildly from famous/upscale-ish to corner-bakery. Similarly, the food varied from a delicious seafood/rice dish to a dessert in a plastic cup. All were accompanied by Alejandro's description of the history/importance of the dish and other details about Barranco. It was nice having a walk between stops to (partially) digest. We enjoyed the tour very much.

          Great tour
Outstanding walking tour. Great guide. He guided us around the neighborhood with lots of commentary on the area, culture, restaurant recommendations, etc. Great views of the Pacific from areas we'd never find on our own. Most highly recommended if you've already seen downtown Lima

          Be careful
Barranco is full of art galleries and restaurants with authentic Peruvian food, so we thought a tour of this place would be best. We were not wrong in choosing this tour in Barranco because it was honestly great. We ended up so happy and full that we could easily roll back to our hotel. This tour is a 10/10.

Perfect for the beginning of your trip
I had tried Peruvian food before and loved it. This food tastes too good to live without it. On my first day in Peru I decided to take this culinary tour to learn a little more about the history of Peruvian gastronomy. In addition to trying delicious dishes, I learned a lot about the Asian fusion that exists in this country, specifically Chinese and Japanese, which has resulted in foods like ceviche and chaufa.

          Food Tour in Barranco Lima
Taking a gastronomic tour in Lima was one of our priorities and after reading some blogs we realized that Barranco was the right place to try authentic Peruvian food. The tour started near the central park of Barranco and as we headed to the first restaurant we were able to see beautiful murals made by local artists like Jade Rivera. The food at each restaurant was delicious but the Causa at the Javier restaurant definitely stole my heart.

Don’t bother booking with this company
I read some of the negative reviews and thought they may be the few not the many but the bad reviews are accurate. Don’t bother with this company - a complete no show and no communication,

          Excellent Tour - Beautiful Artwork
This was a wonderful tour and Alejandro was charismatic and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend. We had a great time. A lot of opportunities to take photos of gorgeous street art and learn about Barranco.

The guide didn’t show up. Take a different agency
Although we booked the walking tour a day ahead and our booking was confirmed by the agency Email, the guide did not show up and no one bothered to update if the tour was cancelled. We called the number provided in the booking confirmation but no answer. Two other people who we’re waiting with us tried as well. No response… This has cost us a full morning out of the two days we had in Lima. This is a shame and not acceptable. If you value your time go elsewhere!

          Amazing food adventure
As two friends who've explored food tours around the world, the Barranco food walking tour exceeded all expectations. But the dish that truly left us speechless was the Lomo Saltado at Isolina Restaurant. The perfect blend of flavors and textures! This tour is a must for fellow foodies seeking an extraordinary culinary journey.

Perfect blend of food and history
As a couple passionate about both food and history, this culinary tour was a dream come true. Each dish and drink had a story to tell, connecting us to Lima's rich past. From ceviche to pisco sour, every bite and sip was a journey through time.

          Unforgettable food and art fusion
We had an absolute blast on the Barranco food tour! The culinary journey was a treat for our taste buds, with causa and anticuchos stealing the show. But what stole our hearts was the stunning street art. From vibrant murals to hidden gems, Barranco's art scene is a masterpiece. Kudos to the guide for making this a day to remember!

        Highly disapponted!!!
They informed about the guide being covid positive and cancelled the trip at the last moment (12 hours before the trip). It wasted my day in the vacation. They refunded the money but didnt provide any damage control for the waste of time..

Dear customer, we sincerely apologize for having canceled you tour, but as you know covid is something we could not control. We were responsible in testing the guides one day before the activity was going to take place and unfortunately our guide was positive. On that date we did not have any other tour guide available so we proceeded to canceled the tour. I hope you had a good time during the rest of your trip :)

This site is very special. For the oldest known ruins in America, the buildings and town planning are very sophisticated.
We were stunned and also pleased, by how quiet the site is. There are not big groups, we only saw few people there.
The guide from Caral only speak Spanish but our guide Otto was able to translate everything to us. We really recommend visiting Caral with this tour company.

The guided tour of Caral’s civilization with Lener was an exceptional experience. His deep knowledge and passion for the history of this ancient civilization made every moment fascinating. Lener not only took us through the impressive archaeological sites, but also offered us a unique perspective on the life and culture of the ancient inhabitants of Caral. His ability to answer our questions and share really enriched the visit. I recommend this experience to anyone interested in history and archaeology; it is truly unforgettable.

Our family had an incredible private day tour to Caral! The kids were fascinated by the ancient ruins, and the interactive learning with our guide was fantastic. Being picked up right from our hotel made things so convenient. Caral's history came to life, and we all gained a deeper appreciation for Lima's heritage. A big thanks to our guide for making it educational and fun. This tour is perfect for families who want to explore together!

Caral is one of the most interesting destinations in Peru, however, this place is rarely visited by travelers who prefer to take tours of popular places. Caral is the oldest civilization in America but unfortunately its inhabitants had to move due to climatic problems. The inhabitants of this culture gave rise to all Peruvian pre-Inca cultures and also to the Inca culture. This tour is without a doubt the best way to get to know Caral from Lima.

What an epic day trip to Caral from Lima with Jose as our guide! The ancient ruins left us speechless, and Jose's passion for history made the experience even more exciting. Excellent small group tour. Our guide was very knowlegable of the site and the local area. After the tour of the site, we went to a fantastic restaurant down by the Pacific Ocean in Barranco. Then to see the Cristo Derentor of Barranco, where the views were spectacular. The whole trip is a bit long but completely worth it if you love history.

Visiting this recently uncovered archeological spot was a unique look into the oldest civilisation in the Americas. The site is still being explored, and the ruins had an authentic 'in progress ' feel. Don't expect finished structures; the site is simple, and few people have discovered this unique and mysterious ruin. Our guide Jose was excellent, providing lots of info on the site and many other insights into Peruvian culture.

Alejandro was a wonderful guide & Carlos was a great driver. We were picked up on time. They took us to a very good local restaurant on the way there and back. Alejandro was extremely knowledgeable about the site of Caral and about Peru in general. The site was fantastic and it is still being developed! Alejandro was extremely personable. I highly recommend this tour!

The team (guide and driver) were great. The excavations were interesting, but are a work in progress. Very long journey and high price for a 1.5 hour tour. We had to skip the Christo because of traffic. Snacks were not offered.
