After months of travel and not a lot of yoga, this was the perfect place to revisit my practice. First of all the price was very fair. I chose the 1 week unlimited pass which was perfect for practicing morning and night and turned out to be great value for money! The staff were great and the yoga instructors were fantastic! I loved the yin and soft classes in the evening - a perfect way to end my day. I will definitely be back when I come to stay another time! Thank you for a fantastic week!Written June 5, 2019

My class was at 9:30 and I showed up at 9:29. The door was locked and nobody was in the lobby. I tried calling them and sent them a couple messages on WhatsApp, via their websites instructions. I have not heard anything back as well as did not receive a refund or was able to go to another class. Very upsetting as I was excited for the yoga class but was not able to participate but still had to pay.

In November, I was on a spiritual retreat to Peru with a few close friends. While we were staying in Miraflores, Lima, I was on the lookout for an early morning yoga class so that I could begin the day mindfully. The classes I took at Matmax Yoga were above and beyond what I was hoping for. The class was the perfect mix of strength building, while allowing for the breath work that comes with a Vinyasa flow. I felt rejuvenated after each class. The people who work here are genuine and I enjoyed authentic conversation with them, even though my Spanish is not as great as I would like it to be. I highly recommend everyone staying in the area takes a class at Matmax yoga!

I took a class this morning as I stayed at Selina (very nice place to stay by the way), with Andreas, and it was perfect! Nice adjustments, nice dynamic, nice studio! I recommend!

We did the morning yoga class with andres. It was peaceful, relaxing combined with hard work. Great environment and music. Very recommended!!

Mat Max yoga is incredible! I had a lovely time attending this yoga class during my stay in Lima. The staff are all super friendly and the facility is super clean and beautiful. Great ambiance. 100% would recommend!

Lovely place with lovely teachers and staff, all of them make you feel welcome just as you step into the studio.
I practiced vinyasa with Marina and it was amazing, she's always energetic and taking care of everyone to make their practice safe and efficient as it can be.
Staff and teachers have no problem to switch to spanish and english which is amazing!
I have no other words to describe how amazing matmax is, I'm really hoping to visit them again soon!
