      Cooking class in Chorrillos!
We booked the cooking class, to be more exactly the option that included Pisco Sour, Lomo and Ceviche. Everything was delicious thanks to our chef Andres who actually owns the beautiful restaurant located in Chorrillos (15 minutes by taxi from Miraflores). We also received online recipes and of course ate all what Andres and we did. Would totally recommend as an activity to do with friends or family.

We loved this cooking class run by Chef Andres. The place where the class takes place is a restaurant. The restaurant is very spacious and since it only works until 5:00 p.m, when we did the class (6:00 p.m, it was empty). The cooking tips will be very helpful and we are ready to surprise our friends when we return home with our new skills in Peruvian cuisine.

      Great cooking class¡
The cooking class in Lima was great. Andres was the chef but he also took the time to pick us up from our hotel in Barranco which actually wasn t included. The cooking class took place in Andres restaurant and it s located in Chorrillos (district of Lima which is facing the sea and it s just next to Barranco) we learned how to do Ceviche, Lomo Saltado and of course a classic Pisco Sour. We enjoyed this experience a lot and will definitely recommend to others!

We spent 3 lovely hours on this Food Tour in one the most beautiful neighborhoods of Lima. All the foods were tasty and Gabriel had something to tell about each one. Very good value for money!

Very cool experience! Our guide was very knowledgeable and informative. I've been in Lima a couple times and I learned so many things about the city that I didn't know. The restaurants we went to were unique and very good. I was highly satisfied and would recommend it to anyone. Just skip lunch and come hungry!

Cooking classes have became my favorite thing to do while Im traveling southamerica. It is fun and you learn more than what you are expecting, I personally learned why peruvian cuisine has japanese infuence and how ceviche was created. The pisco sour is defenetly peruvian and I also learned in this cooking class why. 100% recommended to anyone.

      Fantastic cooking class!!
Four of us had a phenomenal time during Andres' cooking class. The Mirasol restaurant location is spectacular; the restaurant decor is great; Andres was patient, warm, and wonderful; and the Pisco sours, cebiches, and lomo saltado we made, drank and ate were absolutely AMAZING! Andres’ ceviches were the best any of us have ever eaten…and probably better than any we will ever eat the rest of our lives. Our mouths are still loaded with flavor! We can’t sing enough praises about the entire experience. If you have a chance, jump at the opportunity to take this class!

Our tour guide was Manuel. My wife and I travel a lot and this time we decided to take a food tour. Our experience last night was one of the best (if not the best). Manuel was fantastic, very knowledgeable about the Barranco and very knowledgeable about the cuisine, very hospitable and with a great sense of humor.

This is a great tour to taste the food of Peru! Gabriel was very knowledgeable. We had more than enough food and fun. We would highly recommend adding this to your itinerary if you want a different view of Lima. If we go back we would totally do this again.

We took the Barranco food tour with Gabriel. We had a wonderfull time around the bohemian Barranco. We got to see a bit of everything, gastronomy, history and even some art galleries. We had the most tasty food which was expected since Peruvian food is the one of the best! We still have some time in Lima and will definitely visit some of the restaurants again.

This is scam !!!! They take your money but there is no food tour! I have been sitting at the meeting place for over an hour, but no one is coming. Also called and texted several times to the specified phone number from Lima Food Tour but no one answered. Stay away unless you want to be cheated ...

So far this been the most interesting tour we found in Lima. Peruvian cuisine is of the best in the World and with this tour we learned more than expected. All the food we tried was tasty and Gabriel always had something to tell about the ingredients such as corn, potatos and some unknown ingredientes for us as pacar, muna and others that I cant rememmber the name. This is definitely a must do in Lima and the best way to spend 3 hours at night.

Did the Foodie tour with Gabriel and we could not have had a better time. He took us to several places and we sampled traditional and trendy gourmet food! Gabriel is a wonderful guide, and as he led us from place to place, several of which you could have walked by without even knowing there was a restaurant there, he kept us engaged talking about buildings, people, the food, and culture of Barranco. The tour was genuine and enjoyable, and felt a bit ‘Parts Unknown’, out with an old friend. Can’t recommend Gabriel enough. Simply a fantastic night out!
