About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 863nikkif0 contributionsFun morningLovely walk around the historic district. Alex is very knowledgeable and great at navigating us through the churches and catacombs among other groups as well as dropping bits of info so we never really felt we were waiting anywhere despite some crowds at moments. Thank you Alex!Written October 8, 2024
- 307dhirajb0 contributionsHighly recommended a tour. This is the perfect trip to get an overview of Lima - both the historical sites but also a bit about life in Lima with a visit to local markets. We also tasted exotic fruits. Our guide Aura was awesome! She speaks good English and explained things really well. She goes out of her way to make sure that the trip is going well for her clients. Our driver Juan drove us safely through Lima traffic. Lunch at a restaurant in the historical center was delicious. I would highly recommend this tour.Written October 6, 2024
- 477briannaj0 contributionsFun and informative tour of LimaI had an excellent time on this tour, Alex was an excellent host and I enjoyed spending time with a small group of other solo travellers. We covered a lot of ground in Lima during the day.Written October 6, 2024

- K1904GKbw0 contributionsA great highlight tour of LimaA great tour to see the highlights of Lima. You are not lingering at each spot, but you see a lot, learn a lot and eat a lot. Lunch was excellent. The tour overall was excellent with our guide MP. We wish we had more time to see more of Lima, but this tour hit the highlights and we couldn’t recommend it higher. It felt like a non-touristy tour, and they really do deliver on the itinerary. Plus an authentic lunch is included. No effort required. Just book and you're sorted! Loved it!Written October 5, 2024
- Y2171HCdanielag0 contributionsExceptional tour in the favelasAn absolute must do when you visit Lima. The experience is impressive & highly educational. Very nice and friendly people of color energia, doing such a great job for the community. It goes far beyond than just painting the houses, but also helping people and raising awareness. - Companion2912140 contributionsLima City of the Kings - an intimate walk down Lima’s memory lane !!Renzo was hugely knowledgable and clear and entertaining in his delivery and sensitive to the needs of our small group. He struck the right balance between how much detail he gave and the time and space for taking photos and admiring the architecture and buildings that were part of our tour. Thank you for a memorable day and experience. NigelWritten October 5, 2024
- Y6296JHcharlesk0 contributionsThe one day tour reflected most positively on Peru and its culture and people!I had one day to myself in Lima. Chose Peruvian Tours based on Trip Advisor reviews. The tour changed a bit due to a scheduled protest in the City Center. As such the tour locations were moved to take this into account. In fact as a result in the same time allotted we saw a couple more areas not previously advertised. Alex our Tour Guide was fluent in English and in fact added much color to our visits. He was passionate about his heritage and Peruvian Culture. Shared much of what I leaned with Peruvians I met during the rest of my business stary. The tour was very enjoyable, informative and reflected in one day the essence of the City. Highly recommend the tour and tour operator! Alex is an asset to the Team!Written October 4, 2024

Our tour guide, Walter, was very informative and pleasant. He gave us a lot of information about Peru’s colonial and republican history. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to enjoy our Pisco sours at the Hotel Bolivar.

We had a fantastic tour of Casa de Aliaga and the historic centre of Lima with our guide Manuel. We really wanted to visit Casa de Aliaga after seeing photos online and it didn't disappoint. Manuel helped us understand the historical context of the Aliaga family as well as the house and its artwork. When walking around downtown Lima, Manuel picked up on our interest in architecture and history. We wouldn't have seen anything like we did had we walked around on our own. We ended our tour with a pisco sour at the beautiful Gran Hotel Bolívar. Manuel is a great guide and very knowledgeable and passionate about his city. I highly recommend this tour for a unique insight into Lima.
