Visiting Caral, the oldest civilization in the Americas, 7000 yrs old, older than ancient Egypt, should be on everyone's itinerary when visiting Peru. It is far more significant than Machu Picchu, but less than 100 tourists visit Caral daily. Of course, the remoteness, really bad roads (once you get off the Pan American hwy) and the cost of a day trip (about $150pp) may be a deterrent, but if people are willing to pay up to $300 to visit Machu Picchu, there should be no excuse to miss this extraordinary archeological site. The scenery around the desert is breathtaking, and the required guided tour of the site, which is only 20 sol for a group of 10 (In addition to the site admission charge of 15 sol pp) offers a refreshing perspective for understanding the unique histories of the earliest peoples in the Americas and their great accomplishments. Best way to visit and save money in the process - rent a compact 4 wheel drive (for the bad section of the road, which is the last 15 km around the site) from Lima Airport (with all insurance about $90 and about $40 in gasoline) and this way, you avoid all the horrendous driving and traffic around Lima and easily can access the Pan American highway (tolls about 20 sol each way for a car) to drive up to Caral. The 3 hr drive to Caral passes beautiful landscapes through the deserts, mountainous terrain, along the Pacific coast. For a family of 4, doing the whole day trip cost us less than what tours charge for one person to visit Caral.

Pachacamac is a great arqueological site that not many people know about it and if you like the history, its 100% recomendable, then we stop in a place for a lunch (its not included) after that we went to city tour around Lima and was a great afternoon knowing the Monastery of Saint Francisco de Asis, Catacombs and highlight areas in Downtown, we enjoyed the experience.

This is the best tour you can do in Lima! Jordan was an outstanding guide which brought me first to the local market of the village, showed me everything and gave me so many fruits to try. He was caring, his knowledge is huge and he did every effort to make it an unforgettable experience for me and even helped me to get in touch with the locals. The school visit was the best experience ever, you can get in touch with the students and teachers easily and see a real public school from the inside. The village is authentic and you can see how people live there and how there daily life looks like. This was one of the best experiences I've ever had while travelling!

Sophia was absolutely amazing. She shared so much knowledge with me, in her wonderful communication skills that I can easily recall most of the exciting and interesting details to friends and family later on (instead of just saying vaguely "I had a great day"). The Pachacamac museum is really good, with so much details and information across all their exhibits and displays.

It was a great experience to get to know more about the culture and the story of the Pachacamach temple and Lima with my guide Sophie. She is an excellent guide with a vast knowledge. I really enjoyed the time with her and I have learned a lot. Sophie was always there for me and answered professionally to all my questions. Michael was our driver and he had extreme care of us, driving us around the temple in a tremendous hot weather. I highly recommend this tour and the tour operator.

Our guide Mairol was great, but there really was very much to see. The light show was half closed for some event, and many were not working. Way to expensive for what was seen. Also had to pay extra for pick-up.

The guide was very helpful and interesting. However, her English accent was very hard to understand. The show was excellent and the guide took a lot of time to explain and show all the fountains in the oark.

We traveled 3 hours from our hotel to Caral in the way we did an stop to have breakfast, going to the north part is very nice the landscapes and desert, by the way the tour guide was awesome, we been learning a lot of the sociaty, lanscapes an d nature, Jordan Mendieta was amazing, thank you to KulTour Perú and the driver for an amazing job, the arqueological site was great! obviusly with the complemente of the tour guide is much better beacuse we understand more, after that we stopped in some fields to buy some strawberries, from the land, we really loved that, the tpour very personalized and the luch was sea food, i dont like the fish, but they give another option, i really appreciate that. high recomendable tour ! if you have apssion for history, thank you hector our driver and Jordan the tour guide

We really enjoyed the all day, history and culture in the first visit in Pachacanac huge arqueological site, later was the city tour very good too, Jessica gice us a Churro, she was avery nice tour guide our driver too was great person, after that we been in the magic water show, we really loved, later the restaurant with the show, so cool the scissor dancing and the peruvian paso horse.

Fantastic ! very beautiful i really love the horses, to be honest my father had a horse farm when i be young, nice memories came to my mind when i been in the Hacienda. The company is very unresponsiveness. No body assure the phone or call us to confirm the pick up time at 4 .30 AM for next day. We booked privet luxury tour for two people and paid oven $1300 , but the hotel was not even a mobile style . it is a comping ground . No heat, No bathroom. No furniture except only two mattress. Not worth the money at all. But the tour guide (Jordan) and driver (hector) are very nice and responsible. Thanks
