Private Cooking Class With a Local Family in Lima
$60.00
Overview
From the market stalls to the dining room table, learn to cook a traditional Peruvian meal from start to finish during this private cooking class in Lima. Go with your guide to a local market to pick up ingredients such as potatoes, rice, and meat before joining a family to learn how to prepare the food from scratch. This class includes hotel pickup and drop-off, all ingredients, and a drink.
What to Expect
Chose your preferred departure time and your guide will pick you up for a Peruvian culinary experience. Your first stop is a local market where you will buy all the ingredients (included in the cost) to cook a typical Peruvian meal. Learning about the local vegetables, fruits, meats and other products available in Peru is a true delight.

Later, you will visit a local family where your chef will show you how to make the Peruvian food.  The chef will take you step by step to prepare one appetizer and one main course. Your tour guide/bartender will show you how to make the best pisco sour, which is the traditional drink of Peru.

End the tour with a drop-off back at your local hotel.
