      Highlight of our trip!
My family and I had a wonderful time. The instructor was info and very funny. They answered all of our questions and we were laughing the whole time. The chocolate was delicious (obviously) and it was incredible to experience how different regions impact the flavor of the chocolate. It was very eye-opening to learn about how long the chocolate making process takes. Thank you for such a lovely experience. This class has been a highlight of our trip!

      Fun and tasty experience
It was. Lots of fun and the chocolates we came away with were delicious. We made hot chocolate too, also excellent. I would have liked more info about the history of chocolate, and it would be a good idea to provide stools for participants.

      Chocolate at its best
Ian, our guide, was very engaging and his enthusiasm and knowledge was evident. The hands-on element of this activity, made it more enjoyable as we were able to make our own chocolate bars, which tasted delicious.

      Entertaining & Interactive
This was a fun experience! I loved learning about the history of chocolate from the region in an interactive way. Come prepared for an arm workout - you will have to grind your own cocoa beans! Making our own chocolate bars was enjoyable as well. They provided a variety of local and popular mix-ins.

      A worthwhile afternoon
I did this lesson as I had a few hours to kill before moving on. It was a good decision as it was a fantastic relaxed atmosphere, learnt a great deal and got to appreciate chocolate all the more.

What a great experience taking this workshop and learning so much about cocoa and the whole process from growing it, its history and getting to make our own chocolate candies. Our instructor was fantastic explaining everything and making it a great experience. I highly recommend this experience while in Lima.

      Fun and Educational!
Romy was an excellent facilitator. She did it in two languages and managed to maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm. It was fun and educational. Enjoyed the tea from cocoa husks!

My husband and I did the mini workshop as the timing fit our schedule better than the longer (& more geared towards adults) bean-to-bar workshop. Romy was our teacher, and she is a delightful human with a great sense of humour and passion for all things chocolate. The chocolates we made were delicious, and the history was very interesting. Even if you don’t have kids, I wouldn’t hesitate to do the mini workshop if that’s all you have time for, it was a blast. Thanks Romy!

We didn’t have a lot of time so we selected to do the mini workshop. It was great, Ernesto was very informative and super patient. Even though we were all adults, we had so much fun using our creativity. Definitely recommend!
