- mirandasJ245BT0 contributionsExperience Lima Off the Beaten PathI had a great experience on this tour and learned so much. Miguel was an amazing guide who was very friendly, answered all my questions, and had such a positive attitude. The driver, Hugo, was also great and the entire experience felt very safe!Written February 8, 2025
- STomisich0 contributionsCusco and Machu PiccuLike many we enjoyed the views, the history and of course the food. But most impressive was the hospitality of the Peruvian people, always smiling, friendly and willing to help. The absolute attention to detail in all arrangements was also a pleasant surprise, everything well organised, on time, and often better than expected!Written February 7, 2025
- Annie M0 contributionsWell Organised but short on support. No pick up. Mercy of early morning Uber. Guide late at destination and had to negotiate drop off back to accommodation..Written February 5, 2025
- tschemmel0 contributionsThe most impressive sight on earthJose Aguilar knew an incredible amount about Machu Picchu and Incan history, himself being a descendant. The views are breathtaking, the rides comfortable, and the information left me wanting to learn more about this most impressive place and culture. Thank you is all I can say.Written February 1, 2025
- Timothy W0 contributionsVery nice. Very informative. The next day's activities were not always clear. The tour was very nice, but I was often unclear about the next day's activities. I was always asking the tour guide at the conclusion of each day's tour to show me the me the next day's agenda on their cell phone.Written January 26, 2025

- Excursion191352923010 contributionsProfessional and ReliableThis is one of the best tour l've had in Latin America and this tour company made it even better! 1. The tour always kept me updated and I've never felt lost while travelling in Peru 2. The pick-up and drop off timing is perfect for the entire trip 3. The tour guides are very friendly and knowledgable, also very good photographers 4. The tour picks very good time slot for visiting popular place, for almost all of the popular tourist destinations, we had the entire thing to ourselves 5. Good hotel selections and even seats on the train are carefully selected. We got the priority seating on the train from Agua Calientes which are the only seats facing no one.Written January 23, 2025
- MakeupArtist400 contributionsDo include this in your Lima itineraryEduardo is a fantastic guide! He shared so much not only about the tour itself but also about Lima and Peruvian life.. very knowledgeable! The tour itself is amazing! Do include it in your plans. We also felt very safe and comfortable with our driver Angel who knew how to navigate the congested streets of Lima with ease. We also appreciated being picked up from our hotel in a comfortable and roomy vehicle. A+ experience all around! Thank you Eduardo and Angel for a memorable day!Written January 21, 2025

- H1448GDmiguelv0 contributionsWonderful and excellently planned experienceTwo of us went on a private trip and it was absolutely wonderful. Jonathan was very responsive and laid out next steps clearly and thoughtfully. Jose was our guide and he was absolutely incredible. His overview of what to expect from the lines flight allowed us to capture great pictures and clearly see all of the glyphs. As an add on we went to the Paracas Natural Reserve. Jose's deep knowledge of the geology, history and structure made it a very illuminating experience. He was a wealth of information about the whole area. Additionally, on the drive down and back he was great to talk to. He has an excellent sense of when people want to learn more and when they want to sit back and relax. His lunch recommendation was one of the best meals we had on the trip. Highly recommend this group for anyone hoping to see the Nasca Lines.Written January 16, 2025
- V674DZcindyg0 contributionsHighly recommend this tour!We did and saw everything. What made this trip so special was the excellent hotels we stayed in, the way we were taken care of during each step of the process and the superior guides we got. These folks were able to meet us at our level, go far indepth in philosophical, historical and cultural discussions about their country. The pride for the past and hopes for their future was truly inspiring. Based on the tours others have taken, this one was far superior!Written January 9, 2025
- Daydream278682789860 contributionsDay Trip to Machu Picchu from CuscoVipac Travel Agency completely ruined what should have been an incredible trip to Machu Picchu. From start to finish, the experience was chaotic, stressful, and filled with mistakes. First, they gave us the wrong tickets—someone else’s, complete with their passport number and credit card info. When we flagged the issue, they brushed it off and blamed Viator instead of taking responsibility. Communication was a nightmare; they ignored our emails and messages until we had to get our hotel involved to reach them. The pick-up time kept changing—first 5 AM, then suddenly 3 AM at 9 PM the night before. We ended up enduring an unnecessary 18-hour travel day with zero explanation. To make things worse, we had booked the 360° Inca Rail, but they downgraded us to the cheapest Peru Rail train going up, claiming it was because of “limited space.” It wasn’t until the return trip that we actually got the 360° train we paid for. They also messed up our Machu Picchu tickets, switching circuits multiple times before finally getting it right. And somehow, they forgot to provide a return bus ticket or even tell us we’d need to get one ourselves. After an exhausting day, we were made to walk an unnecessarily long distance to find our car back to Cusco. The only good part of the whole experience was the guide, who was excellent. But the tour’s organization? Awful. If you’re planning a trip to Machu Picchu, do yourself a favor—avoid Vipac at all costs.Written January 6, 2025

- waynem1140 contributionsMachu Pichu Machu Bueno!Excellent and reliable operator. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides. Great hotel selection , particularly in Machu Pichu and Sacred valley. Cusco hotel was an ancient palace. A little dark for my liking and bedroom/ bathroom not as good as the other accommodation we had. Consider an alternative hotel. Although the location is excellent. The farm to table restaurant experiences were awesome and a must do. Hiram Bingham train also a must do. Suggest if able, hike the 1.8 KM trail up to the entrance of Machu Pichu and also visit the museum at the beginning of the trail. Water and toilet paper should be available in the tour vehicle at all times. The Oxygen shot canister and the souvenir carry bag are a nice touch. Criticism: When we disembarked from the ship, we should have been met at the transit station at Plaza Santa Rosa,( as others were) rather than us having to try get an Uber or be hounded by expensive taxi operators to get to Mira Flores. I highly recommend VIPAC for your touring needs in Peru.Written January 2, 2025

It was slightly disappointing that the museum didn't open the evening we went.
The tourist menu feels limited and it would have been cheaper with more options should we have reserved the restaurant ourselves.
The restaurant itself is very pretty and a great experience.
I would recommend you to see whether you can make the reservation yourself.

Visiting Lima is always a rewarding experience! We booked an early evening visit to the awesome "Huaca Pucllana" inca ruins, rather impressive with the scenic lights on. Right after the visit, reservations were made at "Huaca Pucllana Dining Experience", a restaurant by the acclaimed Chef Marilú Madueño! No need to say we got a table almost in front of the main pyramid! What a feeling! We had a fantastic dinner, with courteous and kind service, a nice wine and Chef Marilú Madueño outstanding cuisine - Italian flavors and Peruvian touches. We loved the experience! Bon Appétit!

We were picked up promptly at our hotel and were escorted by a very friendly driver. He drove us to the site then guided us back to reception and we were seated immediately. We had a stunning view of the ruins and the meal was excellent. There was something for everyone and it was all delicious. We called the driver and he was back in a flash and promptly took us back to the hotel. It was a really smooth operation and we couldn't have expected more. It was a truly great experience all around.

We went on the last night of a 2 week group tour. The setting was enjoyable and the food was tasty and nicely presented. It's an experience you won't forget, dining among ancient ruins and was a fitting place to end a trip of a lifetime!

Huaca Pucllana Restaurant is located inside the grounds of ancient pre-Inca ruins. We had already understood this was a place for experience not for fine dining. So, we did not have high expectation for their food. The food was really just average and extremely expensive. From your table you’ll see the complex’s illuminated pre-Inca pyramid. No stunning experience. There was no tour or a guide available as advertised on their website. If you want to walk around the site you have to purchase a ticket to do so. Also, there was no free Pisco Sour, no hotel pickup and drop off service that was advertised. One more thing, the food price had already including service charge; however, the waiters expect to be tipped extra again.

In Lima after visiting Galapagos and on the way to Machu Piccu.
After a day of touring highlites of Lima we stopped at Huaca Pucllana for lunch. We were able to find a table on the terrace overlooking the pyramids - awesome location.
Food was great, I had trout and yellow potatoes and a rice pudding for desert.
Service was great
Did not experience tour bus dinners as have others

Interesting ruins right in Lima with a very nice restaurant on the side. At dusk, the ruins are illuminated and make for a great backdrop after a busy day. You can tour the ruins or not.

Food excellent, very vell presented and balanced flavors. But disappointed at the service. The staff seemed ver busy paying attention to the big tables, and neglected us (table for 2), I asked for a beer, it took 20 to waiter to show to our table, then after 10 min he showed up with the beer. It was too late by then we already were done.

Food and service were great! We ended up ordering off the designated menu and paid additionally because the options were a bit limiting. The view was fun.
