- emmdeelee00110% would recommend this walking tour !We had such a great experience with GoToPeru, specifically our amazing guide Felipe ! It was a private tour for the two of us and he shared so much wonderful history and culture about Peru & Lima, and showed us parts of architecture that we would have never noticed on our own. He had such a fun personality too and we really enjoyed the banter and little tidbits of information here and there during our trips to the historical sites, and even the little Pisco tasting session on our tour. The cherry on the top of the cake is that Felipe takes AMAZING photos! He’s an absolute pro and we are so glad to have these pictures to store as memories of our time here. 110% would recommend !! You’ll be in for a great time !
- Alana B00Incredible Experience!Amazing experience! Book it! Incredible, knowledgeable and kind guide. It’s a full day but you see and experience so much! I can’t say more good things about this tour.
- CmkAtl00Wonderful ExperienceWhat a great way to experience Lima! Our guide, Andy, picked us up at our hotel in Miraflores. Oscar, our driver, expertly negotiated the Lima traffic throughout the day. Our first stop was Pachacamac, a pre-Inca site south of Lima. Pachacamac has a beautiful museum full of centuries old pieces. Andy explained the history of the site and guided us around archaeological ruins. The site has stunning views of the ocean. After Pachacamac we drove to Barranco and had lunch at a family run Peruvian restaurant. The food was delicious! We walked around the neighborhood and got a great feel for every day life in Peru. After our lunch, we drove to downtown Lima to explore the sites. Andy expertly guided us through the streets, stopping to explain the history and significance of the many buildings (and even a few protestors). We loved the Convent of San Francisco! It was gorgeous! The catacombs were a little creepy, but it was fun to explore. Finally, we stopped at the Magic Water Circuit Park. It was packed with Peruvians, mainly families. It was great to experience it without other tourists. The Circuit consists of a movie or light show projected on some fountains. It was fun to watch. We got back to our hotel around 8:00, completely exhausted. It was a great day. Andy was a terrific guide. He knew so much about Peruvian history and the political situation. He was smart and fun! He also helped us find a cheap suitcase to use because my husband’s collapsed on our trip. I can’t say enough good things about him.
- BrianR_1100Get the real story behind the Bridge of SighsIncredible. We thought we would have been on a shared tour with others, but we were not and as such it was tailor made for our needs. Our tour guide Andy was an encyclopedia of knowledge, answering our questions with vibe and making the history come alive. Our driver Oscar adhered to proper safety and the ride was very comfortable, with him finding us back when required. We had done another walking tour, without the visit to Pachacama and the Magic Water Circuit, and this tour added to the experience of the first, giving additional information and perspective. Lunch was soul food Peruvian and the Cilantro rice was full of flavour. Definitely worth doing whilst in Lima.
- W9156TJallenm00Experience LimaOur all too brief tour of the incredible city of Lima was excellent. Lima’s rich history came alive through our insightful guide Lillie. Lillie was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. We wished we had more time to spend with her.
- bevk75300INCREDIBLEMy friend and I had an awesome time on this tour. Nico was our tour guide and he did an excellent job. There were many highlights of this tour. The first includes the excellent vehicle we were driven in, which was air conditioned(!). The next was that Nico knew so much about the history at the Pachacamac temple. We asked him SO MANY questions and I was genuinely surprised by how much he knew - I expected him to not know the answer to many questions, but he always did. We also loved the Peruvian meal we were provided in Barranco, and were able to taste several dishes while also visiting the bridge of sighs and seeing the many murals and graffiti in the area. In the downtown part of the tour, we tasted many types of local alcohol including the famous Pisco and were able to see catacombs under the cathedral. Finally, finishing the day at the magic water circuit was a real treat. Honestly, this was the equivalent of 3+ tours in one and felt like an excellent choice. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone and would love to spend a day with Nico again! Thank you Nico!
- Getaway12079029172006 hours Must See sites of Lima plus Casa AligaWe scheduled the half day tour of the "must see sights in Lima" plus the Casa Aliaga. Vanessa, our guide, was prompt, articulate, personable, and a wealth of knowledge. She really helped us better understand the culture of Lima vis-a-vis the rest of Peru. The highlights of the tour included the Museo Larco (fascinating display of pre Incan artificts) and the Casa Aliaga, the oldest house in Peru with amazing furnishings! Take time to eat at the museum restaurant which is quite charming.
- MGfromtheLBC00Ask for Jack and Carlos!Jack (tour guide) and Carlos (driver) were amazing! Highly recommend! We got such a good overview of the city and the visit to Pachacamac was incredible.
- Joanne B00All Day Custom Tour Including Jewish HeritageBased upon Trip Advisor reviews I booked a "custom tour" through Lima Tours. My contact person at Lima Tours was Cynthia. She was very helpful and responsive and helped to customize the tour to my desires, which included various key landmarks I chose and a tour of the Lima Synagogues along with Lima's Jewish Heritage. The prior reviews I read noted "Martha" as the tour guide..... and this is who we had. She was wonderful...and a shout out to her driver "Carlos" who was also wonderful and informative. They make a great team...and this was a great tour and great experience. It was a full day, from 930am-630pm and we maximized every minute.
- Jordan N00Great full day tourWas a great day! Definitely recommend asking for Andres, he was a great tour guide. Great driver, picture taker, and really knew his stuff!!
- OnAir2232760529700Amazing horseback riding experience outside of LimaWe had an incredible day riding horses over sand dunes and along the ocean. The guide and driver were so friendly and it was an experience we’ll never forget! I really appreciate how accommodating they were for our last minute plans. So easy and fun!
- garymattingly00An excellent day & evening in and around LimaExcellent tour visiting Pachacámac, and having lunch in Barranco, walking through San Francisco cathedral and catacombs and walking through the Magic Water Circuit in the evening. Nicolas, the tour guide, provided excellent information and conversation. He obviously knew his way through every place we visited. The driver also obviously knew his way through the streets and navigated well through the very busy traffic.
- janr71700Excellent Peruvian tour through Lima Mentor!Lima Mentor went above and beyond to coordinate my travel details and sightseeing between Lima and Cusco. Cynthia assisted with transportation, guide/tour services, and local advice on things to do and see. She even helped with logistical info on Covid testing sites and current Covid guidelines in Peru! All of the tours through Lima Mentor were wonderful-the guides and drivers (Manuel, Valentine, Eliud, Miguel and Carlos) are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Over the course of several days they took me to Ollantaytambo, Pisac, Chincero, Moray, Maras, and Machu Picchu along with considerable sightseeing in the Peruvian countryside. A special shoutout and thank you to Wilinton who was always helpful in Cusco arranging various details of my visit. I had a wonderful time in Peru and it was directly related to the folks at Lima Mentor. I could not be happier or more thankful for their help and guidance. I highly recommend Lima Mentor!!
- julia_wien00Fully packed day!A wonderful tour packed with a wide variety of interesting sights and experiences. The ruins of Pachacamac were mind-blowing, lunch in Barranca was lovely, and Parque de la Reserva and the Magic Water Circuit with refreshing interactive fountains was a perfect way to end the day.

Lima Mentor was excellent in every way. Great response from Cynthia as I was coordinating a couple of days for two senior citizens from US. Ada (guide) and Raul (driver) were very knowledgeable and kept us moving. Plus, they had great sense of humors!
PS - They coordinated our trip to Cusco and Machu Picchu as well and it went off very well.

This tour was a wealth of knowledge. Started from the Larco Museo then downtown to the Historical Center. We visited the Santo Domingo Convent which was very beautiful. As well as the Cathedral of Lima. The guide was passionate about her country and its rich history. She made the content very interesting so much so I purchased literature to revisit some of the points she touched on. The service was great. Pickup and drop off was like clockwork. So glad I took this tour and got the guide I had.

My husband and I finished up a 2 1/2 week Galápagos/Machu Picchu trip with a couple of days in Lima. We wanted to take a quick highlight tour of the city and, after reading several reviews, decided to try Lima Mentor’s Must-See Landmarks Tour. We were picked up by our guide Martha in our hotel lobby at the time arranged. She had a van and driver waiting outside. There was one other couple on our tour who were very nice. Martha did an excellent job educating us on the historical and cultural aspects of Lima. We began at the impressive Larco Museum and then went into the historic downtown area. She was awesome and we enjoyed the tour!!! Money well spent.
