The horseback riding tour was excellent. Pick up from the hotel was smooth, the guide was friendly and knowledgeable and the horses well-cared for and easy to ride. The views are spectacular and it is a great way to get a different perspective on Cusco and see some Inca ruins. Highly recommend.

Incredible ride, lovely operation. The horses are small, strong Peruvian gated horses and well cared for. It was clear that Holger and Lucho, his father, love their animals. Holger talked us through each Inka site on our ride and we had opportunities to see multiple ruins and travel across various country. I'm an experienced rider and Holger allowed me the opportunity to gallop a bit at the end, while he stayed back with the others. I don't mind sticking with the group if necessary but I really appreciated the opportunity to have some fun on horseback. It was a fantastic way to start my time in Cusco — I only wish I'd had time for a longer experience!

Kanai Azhagamman Temple is a lesser-known but significant temple located in the village of Kanai, in the Viluppuram district of Tamil Nadu. The temple is relatively modest in size compared to larger temples in Tamil Nadu, but it retains a deep spiritual aura that draws devotees from nearby areas. The temple and surroundings are devoid of any commercial activities and is very serene. The area is full of neem and banyan trees. Even in the peak of summer, this part of the world will remain cool and breezy! The presiding deity is Azhagamman (a form of Goddess Shakti), and the temple also includes shrines for other deities, such as Lord Shiva and Lord Ganesha. There is very old and huge ant-hill which is preserved and prayers are being offered here. Local belief is that someone who wants to build a house comes here and he/she arranges the stones representing house, the wishes are granted. Azhagamman is believed to be a powerful goddess who grants blessings, protection, and prosperity to her devotees. The temple is a center of spiritual activities and festivals for the local community.

Horses are well-trained. Guides are very experienced. Wonderful views and wonderful hikes. It was an amazing experience!! Love it!

The Tour was great. The horses were in good shape and the guide really nice:) The experience is very cool and you get to see a lot of nice places. I can recommend it to anyone even without any horse experience:) We both never really sat on a horse and we felt safe during the whole time. All in all Veery niice experience

We booked this based on the reviews, and it did not disappoint. Benny was our guide. She knew and explained the ruins well. My husband was unwell due to altitude sickness and she was very considerate to his needs. Oxygen was available. The horse riding was very enjoyable

Very fun experience. Hulgar was a great guide and the horses were perfect. It was some our first time horseback riding and we had no issues. The scenery was great and the information about Peru and Incan history was fantastic.

I go on a lot of horseback riding tours when I travel and this was one of my favourites. Our guide was very knowledgeable and explained the history of the sites very clearly. My horse was lovely and we got to trot and even canter a bit. Highly recommend this tour.

This was a terrific way to wrap up our week in Cusco. Holger tells great stories about the area, and answers questions with patience and more in depth information. His horses are clearly well-loved and cared for, and know their jobs extremely well! There is a lot of climbing up and down hills, and some tight spaces in the caverns, but it never felt overly strenuous.

Another amazing experience from many trips with Holger and his team in Cusco, every time is a different place and it’s quite exciting, the team is very knowledgeable with the history of every place we visit, reliable on time. We highly recommend it and will be coming back next year.

I booked nearly two months ago. My tour was scheduled for Wednesday and the vendor canceled today (Saturday), but is offering the same tour at the same time, but increased the price $5. There are other vendors offering similar horseback tours. I wouldn’t trust someone who would do this to someone in the middle of their vacation just so they can greedily get a little more money out of someone else. Viator should be ashamed they allow vendors to do this.
