I would have given them 10 starts if I had that option in TripAdvisor. I found out about Kantu Peru Tour agency from Travel Local portal and I am so glad that I selected them. Honestly speaking I was little bit skeptical as the whole process was completely online and I was travelling with my infant kid and I never met anyone in person from the travel agency before I landed in Peru. But I was amazed by the smoothness of the whole process from the booking experience, customizing each and every detail of the trips and then execution of the whole tour plan by them. It was designed in the exact same way I asked for and I had no negative surprise whatsoever. Waldir, the person who executed the whole plan, did it so well that they were on time, every time and took utmost care of us. Never any delay in pickup from airport, train station or hotel, the cars they provided were super comfortable. Never had any discrepancy in what they promised during the booking and the actual tours. The booking coordinator, the customer service representatives were always reachable and every time I requested them something over WhatsApp it was addressed almost immediately. I did travel with my family and small kid who was not even 2 years at that time. Kantu Peru took care of everything so well since we landed in Peru after a long flight till, they sent us off at the time we left. The tour guides, especially Willie was very much accommodating, helpful and knowledgeable. As I was travelling with so small kid there were many obstacles I faced, but he was always there to help us and made our tips so enjoyable and memorable!! I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat. We will cherish the wonderful memories of Peru for rest of our lives, and it was only possible because of them!

We had a fun-filled day visiting two incredible sights; the Inca agriculture site and the (still operating) salt flats site. There were two additional stops along the way that broke up the drive and contributed to our experience. The guide was fun to be around and had endless interesting facts to share. He took great photos of us at each site. All four of us were so glad we chose this tour. Communication and pickup were very organized and efficient.

Absolutely the best company to venture with in Peru. Alfredo and Wilson made an incredible team that ensured our experience was safe, comfortable and fun. Wilson is an incredible driver and navigated the mountains amazingly. Alfredo was simply incredible. He was so patient with our group hiking Humantay lake and is truly one of the best people in the world. I can’t recommend Kantu enough. Muchas gracias, Alfredo y Wilson!

Amazing tour with great views! The trek itself is a bit challenging. But the views are so worth it! Almost everyone in the group spoke Spanish or Portuguese so felt a little bit out of the group. But the guide Freddy was amazing and did everything in English which was really nice!

This tour operator is top class! Although I booked a 5-day tour in Cusco and Machu Picchu only like a month before my trip, they worked quickly and efficiently and achieved to organise everything as described. Hotels, transfers and guides are all first class and I felt completely safe as a solo traveller. Although I did not speak Spanish, I never left out since all our tour guides spoke also English. Waldir, the mastermind of the whole organisation, contacted me daily and was ready to help if needed and give useful tips and advice regarding the itinerary. The communication was perfect. The itinerary was absolutely balanced and exciting! As Waldir told me on the way back to the airport, it is not customary in the traditional language to say goodbye, only "until we meet again". Fredy was amazing from the beginning. On time pickup and departure. Lunch was great and filling. The tour was well organized and we had ample time to explore the vistas surrounding the Rainbow mountain. Highly recommended!

We booked this tour and made it a private tour for 4 of us. From the start of the booking to the last day of being dropped off at the airport, the process was so easy and seamless. Our contact person Waldir was always available for any of our questions. We added an extra day tour in Lima. Greta gave us a really good tour and got the most out of it even if it's only half a day. Willie was our guide while we were in Cusco and he was absolutely amazing. He was very knowledgeable and very passionate about sharing the history of his country. Harol made our tour of Machu Picchu very unforgettable. He also took awesome pictures. Overall, I highly recommend this company and I would suggest requesting these guides to make your trip worth it and unforgettable.

Overall, I’m very glad I did this day trip. The price is unbeatable, and we got to see a ton of special things in just one day. My experience was a bit tainted because the driver couldn’t find me at my pickup time of 6:20am. They said they would call, but I never got one. I sent a message at exactly that time, but it took 15 minutes to get a message back saying they couldn’t find me. Supposedly there was a mistake in the system that lost a digit in my phone number (I saw screen shots so I believe it) but they could have messaged through air bnb. The address I was given for my air bnb that I shared with them doesn’t take you to the entrance of where I was, so I understand why they had a hard time finding me. I only wish the communication had been better/quicker because by the time I was sending them actual map images of where I was standing, they had already left and told me I was too out of the way to pick up and to take a taxi to the first location. I was obviously very upset about this and thought I would have to cancel my day trip. In comes Waldir, who works in customer service for this company. He met me in the square and went WITH ME in a taxi to the first spot (chinchero) to meet up with the group. Not only my that, but he paid for the taxi, and he showed me around the first Inca site because I had missed the beginning of the tour. I’m very appreciative to him for saving my day. He was so kind, professional, and great to chat with. Thank you Waldir! Pros: seeing a lot in one day, great price, lunch buffet was delicious and had tons of options, great views!! Cons: pick up communication, too much focus on taking photos for the whole group (at times felt like an Instagram tour), I would have loved more history and explanations of what we were seeing (there was some, but I’d have liked more!) I don’t think anyone had issues with pick up. It may have just been bad luck for me. FYI the tour is in both Spanish and English, so the guide goes back and forth between languages. This was VERY impressive, but also takes up more time and means explanations are more rushed. All said and done, I don’t regret this tour and had a great time.

Great experience at Humantay Lake with our guide Fredy Kruger. The tour was well organized and we were among the first to get to the lake! Our guide Fredy was very friendly and really helpful during the tour, I’d definitely recommend the experience

Machu Picchu was amazing, and had an incredibly positive experience with this company. Mary and Waldir were so wonderful, and they each responded to my questions immediately, any time of day! They worked really hard to make sure we had a great experience, even when we didn't get the tickets for the day we had first booked. I would love to go back to Peru again just to book another trip with this company, seriously. The customer service was top notch. AND, not to mention our guide, Eduardo, was so knowledgable, helpful, friendly -- just a great person to spend the day with at Machu Picchu. Harold was also great and helped us quite a bit! Thanks again for an unforgettable experience!
