Our guide, Mauro Salas Quispe DNI #48451988, was absolutely fantastic. He regaled us with the history of Machu Picchu in a near perfect English. We did Circuit #3. He helped us make this visit a memorable one. From Cusco, all the way there and back, the service was exceptional. I’ve already recommended this tour with Happy Gringo to colleagues and friends. I will most Likely do it again myself with family.

Getting to see a wonder of the world in one day? Yes, please! This was an incredible one-day tour from Cusco to the awe-inspiring Machu-Picchu! The transportation was smooth, and we especially enjoyed the train ride on the Inca Rail, as there is a memorable performance on board. Nonetheless, the highlight of the whole experience was our guide at the site, Mauro! He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and it was wonderful to hear how he talked with such pride about his culture. He made the whole trip so special for us, and we would highly recommend this trip to anyone. Machu Picchu is a special place, and it was made even better with our lovely guide and tour group!

We had fantástic bike on the Huallpachaca death road in Cusco. The service was great and the food on the tríp was very delicious. Highly recommended biking the death road before visiting Machu Pucchu.

The death road biking tour was fantastic with Happy Gringo Tours! We booked the tour to explore the impressive canyon of Huallpachaca. The food was delicious, the bikes were in good conditions and the the tour guide was very helpful. Highly recommended traveling with Juan!

We booked this tour last minute and were impressed at how they took care of all the transportation and tickets so quickly! Door-to-door service, and didn’t feel rushed at all. Ruben was an amazing guide!!! Not only did he share all the amazing history of this special place, he shared his personal story and shared so much about Quechuan culture in the past and today - it was so interesting. He also insisted on taking great pictures of us, I’m so grateful for that because that’s not my strong suit!

This trip was amazing! I had never been out of the country so I wasn’t too sure how everything would go. Happy gringo made thing extremely easy for me to enjoy this short trip. The guid, Jorge was immediately like an old friend. He took me around the town and showed me all the local eats and places to relax and watch soccer. We had the absolute best time at Machu Picchu with Mauro! First, the logistics of getting to Machu Picchu were so easy. Everything was scheduled for us and went perfectly. We didn’t have to think at all. Then, when we got to Machu Picchu, Mauro was so knowledgeable! He told us everything about the history of the Incan civilization and answered all of our questions easily! He speaks excellent English and was also so funny and kind. One person in our group got sick and he was so kind and made sure she was taken care of. We had such a good time, we went to lunch with him and the group after!
