Great stay and tours thanks to Linda House
Linda House was not only a great place to stay and see Cusco, they also offer the best value for a whole range of quality tours - Rainbow Mountain, Salkantay trek etc. Linda, Edson and family are all lovely, super helpful, and cook a top breakfast! The roof terrace is perfect for watching the sun rise/set over Cusco, play the house guitar or practice some yoga! Regular buses stop outside and take you into the centre of town for a small cost. A really comfortable stay with locals and great memories thanks to Edson and Linda!

          Rainbow Mountain
We had a great time on rainbow mountain. It was very easy to organise with Ebson at the hotel we stayed at (Linda house). The mountain was amazing and the tour guides were very informative. Highly recommended!

It was one of great adventure trail in my life. Guide has lots of knowledge with Salkantay trail, he said he is married with mountains. He was professional, I enjoyed my time a lot in Salkantay trek, as a solo female traveller I feel safe and comfortable. I met with a lot of people, we were great team, food was delicious. Thank you for all organisation, Ecehan Yucel

Excellent Day Tour with Great Views
I really enjoyed this tour. Being picked up from the hostel and driven directly to the site was nice since we had to get up so early. The included breakfast and lunch were way better than expected, including a plate with pancake and omelet in the morning and a big buffet for lunch. The hike itself is very high altitude, so be prepared! Vendors sell coca tea and snacks along the way. Despite the tons of people, the views of the Rainbow Mountain and surrounding area were really worth it. And it was nice to be driven back directly to Cusco after such a long day.

5 day 4 night Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu
This is absolutely the only trek you should do if you visit Peru to get to Machu Picchu! It was the most amazing incredible experience. Our guides José and René were professional experienced enthusiastic every single day! I felt safe and secure throughout. All of the cooks horseman etc work so so hard and the food really is great considering the conditions they work with. Highly recommend!! Some level of fitness required but guides always stay at the front and the back of the group and help. Definitely advise people to get the train back to Cusco from aguas calientes instead of the bus that would be my major advise!

          Salkantay trek
The tour was extremely good value and was the cheapest price we found / heard about. That didn’t mean that the quality dropped though as the food and accommodation were brilliant and also provided a lot of help and flexibility around how to get back from aguas calientes to Cusco (train, bus and being able to stay an extra night).

          Feels crazy, go with it.
We left Cusco for Hydroelectria & hiked in. Buffet lunch was madness, but best food of the package. Upon arrival hostal was great with hot showers & linens. Dinner was small & lackluster, but considering prices in town, decent. People who spoke fluent Spanish got a lot of fast info, not so much for the English speakers. BRING EXTRA FOOD FOR HIKE DAY! "Box lunch" was only bread, juice & banana. You don't want to end up paying to eat inside M.P. The entire thing felt disorganized with tickets & info, but fell into place when it needed to. We changed the end to take train back to Ollantatombo, which they were helpful & flexible with. Trust your tickets will end up in your hand just before the last second. If you have trouble with crazy driving on slick, winding roads then consider the train. We forded a river because the bridge was out. To be fair, they warned us of the driving in advance.

          Very satisfied
This tour met all the promised accomedations and everything else. The guide had great English. The food was amazing I thought I was in a restaurant even though I was in the middle of the mountains. The tents and sleeping bags I was given were in great shape, warm and water proof. Would recommend this tour company to friends and family.

          What a time I had!
Had an absolute blast on the Salkantay 5 day tour. I was accompanied by a brilliant group of travellers and two terrific guides!! The food was fantastic and as a big-eater I never went hungry after my main meals. The tour guides explained the history of different areas of the trek and had more than enough English to understand any concerns that you had on the trail. Some friends had altitude sickness and the guides were very understanding of their problem and assisted them on the trek! Cannot fault this trek, or this company. Fantastic time!! Thanks so much!!!

WOW. What an amazing trip. I could not recommend this company enough. Best price in town, includes fun day of ziplining. The trek was amazing. The food was great and the guides was fantastic who spoke perfect English.
If you want to do the salkantay trek visit Edson at atawkama hostel in Cusco!

If you have a choice, pick the train to come back to Cusco instead of the bus. Safer and more enjoyable experience to end your 5 days.

The Salkantay Trek is one of the beautifulst and divers Treks you can enjoy. The tour operator helps you with everything to experience a wonderful journey. Our guid Carlos has a super motivational attitude and he also shares his knowladge about the plants and the culture of the Andes. The food was also amazing - could not expact to recive so much delicous food on a trek (a lot of vegetables as well and every day soup and te as well)...
It was the most comfortable trek i ever did - but you still need to be fit for that!
Go out and explore it :-)
