The tour was well organized from the beginning. The hotels were good. The best experience we made was our tourguide Jonathan. He was well informed, could answer every question we had. He was very friendly, the ideal tourguide!

I went on an amazing trip to Machu Picchu that changed my perspective on life, and I have Inkayni Tours and our guide Paul Cano to thank for this experience. I was nervous to hike for four days as I had never done something like that before — granted, I’m 33 and in good shape but it was still daunting. Paul made me feel comfortable and capable. But what really made this trip unforgettable was the sheer wealth of knowledge that he imparted during every step of the way. From the tiniest plant to the most grandiose archeological structure, Paul knew all about it. He also shared so much of the Indigenous knowledge with us that has been passed on to him through generations. Hermiño, the chef for our group, cooked us delicious and healthy meals that kept our energy levels high and gave us a taste of Peru’s extremely diverse crops and cuisine (4,000 varieties of potatoes!!) And we wouldn’t have made it even one step if it wasn’t for the porters who carried our tents, personal items, sleeping bags, and even my mom when she was too tired to walk! It’s not a stretch to say that this was the best trip of my life. I can’t recommend Inkayni enough for all the care they put into their work. If you decide to go to Machu Picchu, please consider having Paul as your guide.

We had a great time the epic adventure that was the 4 day classic Inca trail to Machu Picchu SAM Travel is extremely organised from the free airport pickup to the meals and tent set up on the trail. The food was absolutely amazing on the trail, Fortunado the chef needs a mention. Our porters were the loveliest bunch of men. They looked after each other and us so well. We couldn't have done it without them they were so efficient and encouraging. It was so nice to hear them laughing with each other everyday. Our guide Carlos was fantastic. Warm, funny and caring. I'm so grateful for him sharing his extensive knowledge with us and making sure we were all okay at every turn. The only negative was that we didn't get our own portable toilet which is one of the main reasons why I booked with the company. Other than that everything was great :)

Great tour of Macchu Pichu. They explained everything very clearly and made sure we always knew what was going to happen. Very hard hike but worth it.

Tour guide Ronald was friendly and very knowledgeable about areas. He answered all questions. Trip went as planned. The trip included fun activities, beautiful sightseeing.

This trip was a dream come true! It is challenging but so rewarding! The experience is beyond your imagination and worth the effort. Our guide Ali was excellent and committed to teaching and making it a positive experience. We felt like inkayni was ethical and supportive of its team of porters and the amazing chef who fed us amazing meals throughout!

It was an incredible experience. We were accompanied by Julio Cesar, who took the time to explain local history and traditions to us, as well as teaching us a few Quechua words. Sullpaiky ! The logistics and the accomodation booked were also excellent.

The Inca Trail was more challenging than we expected it to be and we are experienced hikers/climbers. This trip offered amazing views of the mountains and valleys and of course Machu Picchu.

We took an early train to the starting point of the 2 day trail, where we met our guide. The hike was wonderful - we walked through a cloud forest full of inca ruins, magnificent views, and even a waterfall. Towards 13:00, we reached the sun gate and then walked down to Machu Picchu itself. On the next day, we had a very interesting tour of the lower part. We stayed a few days more to explore the site on our own. Our guide Wilbert was amazing - he knew a lot about the history of the sites and the local plants and animals and was very kind, generous, and helpful.

Our guide Yeny was fantastic, picked us up from our hotel and walked us around the beautiful town. Her knowledge of the town and history was impressive. Highly recommend the Inca museum with her as guide. She gave us extra details that we would not have gotten on our own. Due to a scheduling conflict on our part we had to shorten the tour, but Yeny was very accommodating and she maximized the time we had together.

One of the best adventures I have ever had. It is not possible to describe it in words :) Our guide, Papa Freddy, made us feel like a part of his family. He is gifted story teller. We learned about the culture, nature and history of Inka. We saw beautiful places and met amazing people. Food and hotels were great. It is one of a few local travel agencies, support local businesses. If you want to discover “real” Peru- don’t hesitate to book your trip with this agency. 10/10. It was an amazing tour! Isaac and Johan are the best guide ever! It is just not a tour it is a full experience. They are very professional, always take care of us. The best part they are native Peruvian and talk Spanish and Quechua perfectly.
