About
The Classic Inca Trail is the most popular walking route in Latin America. The Incas built a very extensive network of almost 40,000 kilometers of hiking trails, to the far reaches of the vast empire, which stretched from Quito in Ecuador to Santiago in Chile and Mendoza in Argentina. During this 4 day tour we will hike over what probably was the most important route of the Inca Civilization. An truly, unforgettable experience.
Cuzco was built or improved by the Incas. Part of this network (43 kilometers) leads past important archaeological sites of the Incas, including Runcuracay, Sayacmarca, Phuyupatamarca, Wiñay Wayna and the world famous Machu Picchu. The route presents a varied difficulty with different roads and slopes. It is a very good and unmissable option for adventurers. On the tour, you can see very beautiful landscapes and diverse micro-climates which guarantee a lifetime experience.

- Mobile656111628000 contributionsWould recommend!!!We had an amazing experience doing the Machu Picchu trip with PaRa Travels. We had very limited time to make the trip from Cusco. Everything was very well arranged and they were very adaptive to our wishes for the trip. When we arrived at the airport of Cusco someone was waiting for us to drop us off at the hotel; we got a lot of information about our travel to Aguas Calientes, which all went very smooth. Once we arrived by train, our guide was waiting for us and took us to the wonderful Machu Picchu. Our guide told us a lot of stories about the Inca’s and off course the stonework in Machu Picchu. On our way back, which again went super smooth due to the very clear explanation of the guides, we were picked up to be driven to the hotel. Since everything was so well organised we could enjoy the country of Peru to its maximum for the limited time we had.Written May 24, 2024

- iesv20200 contributionsAmazing trail! What an amazing trip this was. I really looked forward to this trip and it was even more breathtaking than I imagined. The downhill ride was a very pleasant start of the trail. It wasn't too hard, so we could really enjoy the ride. The hiking the second day was amazing. Such a nice views and look into the jungle. The zip-lining was really fun to do, a nice break from the hiking. And the view over Machu Pichu at day 4 is the most amazing thing I've seen in my life. We went on mountain Pichu and were the very first at the top in the early morning. Exceptionally experience!Written February 10, 2020
