Juan was the best of the best organisator ! We met him at the hostel when we arrived in Cusco, and we become friend in a minute! Highly recommend this tour operator for tours around Cusco
GoGetPeru and especially Juan Carlos the owner of the company is amazing. We did 3 tours around Cusco and can highly recommend this agency. On the first day a tour to Moray, Pisac and Salineras de Maras with guide Lenin it was raining a lot, but he made our day. He is a guide with a lot of knowledge and even when we had problems with the bad road conditions, he managed it so well. Our second and third tours, with guide Juan Carlos and driver Cesar, were also a great experience. Juan Carlos took us early in the morning to a local bakery where we could have a quick view of how to make the Peruvian bread Chuta. We bought some still warm bread for us and also for the Andean farmers which we have seen on the tour to rainbow mountain. Juan Carlos is a smart guide with a very big heart. We were very much delighted to do this tours with him and learn so much about Peruvian life, culture and history.

          Extremely Experienced and Attentive
My friend and I booked all of our Peru travel through Go Get Peru. We had so many questions because we normally do not join tours or book through travel agencies, but Juan Carlos was very patient with us and answered all of our questions in great detail. We were in Peru for 9 days, and Juan Carlos helped us to arrange a 3 night Amazon lodge stay, hotels and tours with private guide and car transfer for Cusco, Sacred Valley, Macchu Picchu, and Lima, and booked all of our domestic flights in Peru (which saved us a lot of money because they had access to much better pricing than what's available on LatAm's website), went with us to buy local Sim cards and get money exchange in Cusco, as well as our pre-departure COVID test to return to Canada. Juan Carlos was extremely attentive and thorough through out our trip and made it a complete success!

Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu - Just perfect!
I went on Salkantay Trek organized by Go Get Peru. What shall I say: There is pretty much nothing I can complain about. I was all very well organized and I enjoyed the tour to the utmost! :-) Even though I was the only had who had booked for that special date (actually it was a group tour and I also received the group price), the tour was executed as plan, which meant I had a guide, a cook, a horseman and a horse just for my own. Of course, some further company might have been nice, but the team was so tremendously friendly and forthcoming that this was no issue at all. Also Juan Carlos, the owner and manager of Go Get Peru was super friendly and made sure that everything worked out smoothly and I did not have to w worry about anything. The food during the tour was also very good! To summarize: I can only recommend Go Get Peru! Very good value for money!

          Trip of a lifetime!
I was so overwhelmed with all of the trip options and combinations when I was planning my trip to Peru and GoGetPeru worked with us to really create the best trip possible! We were able to customize our itinerary, learn about the culture and customs of different parts of the country and really focus on how amazing the country is without worrying about how to get anywhere or what is next. Our guide spoke great English and was passionate about what she was talking about. I have never traveled with a tour before but this is definitely the way to go in Peru. GoGetPeru made sure that we had the right itinerary for each person in the group and the result was providing the trip of a lifetime for each traveler. This is a great company to travel with!

Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain & Condor Watching
Juan Carlos is a really passionated guide with a huge knowledge about his country including the hotspots in Peru. We booked a trip with the train from Ollantaytambo to KM104 and hiked with his colleague Anthony to Machu Picchu. The next day we had an informative tour at the Inca site. The other day, with Juan Carlos we visited Rainbow Mountain and went to Limatambo to see the condors. It was an extraordinary experience – especially on 5,200 metres – on top of Apu Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountain): We suddenly came into a snowstorm and Juan Carlos took care of us and brought us to safety. It was an unforgettable experience. Thank you so much Juan Carlos!

Amazing service - start to finish!
We booked a trip to Lake Titicaca with Go Get Peru and start to finish, it was flawless. Juan Carlos, the owner, is excellent with communication (speaks beautiful English, of course) and was super quick with replies (though, sometimes he is out of service range for a few hours because he does a lot of tours himself– how cool is that!) He sent over not only a summary of our trip which was extremely helpful, but also a detailed itinerary, describing almost hour by hour what our trip would look like. It really set my mind at ease to know exactly what to expect – and the execution of said plan was also great. Drivers were there when they were supposed to be, guides were excellent (Juan Carlos is based out of Cusco so we had location-specific guides) and Juan Carlos checked in frequently to make sure everything was going well. He was available by Whatsapp/email/call at all hours. And while all this is amazing in itself, the itineraries themselves were our favorite part. He doesn’t just plan the typical tourist route – he really values authentic experiences. We opted for a homestay on Lake Titicaca and it was an incredible way to get a glimpse into the life of a local. He also has home stays in the Sacred Valley and he has physically built the home stay houses himself to enable local families to host guests. It’s an incredible way to see how your travels can directly impact (positively in this case) someone’s life. To sum it up, we were impressed start to finish with our trip and without a doubt, you will be too if you book a trip with Go Get Peru! Go Get it! 😊

          Half day city Cusco tour
We needed a tour last minute and Juan Carlos replied to our WhatsApp message immediately, confirmed our place on a five hour city tour and personally picked us up from our hotel - all booked and sorted within a few hours! The price for the tour was entirely reasonable, we had a good tour guide and all transportation was included. A brilliant way to see the major sites of Cusco, with friendly service the whole way. If we’d been staying in Cusco any longer we definitely would book another tour with the company!

Great experience: 5 day salkantay trek
The salkantay trek was one of our most important "to do" in our trip around the world. Therefore we did a lot of research. We wanted a small group in order to enjoy that unique experience. We therefore chose go get Peru. Juan Carlos was from the beginning very responsive and flexible for any changes or wishes! Really great customer service! The instruction one day before the trek in our hotel with Juan Carlos and the Guide Heberth was very professional and we were prepared very good for this adventuere. We were as well very lucky as we (3 people: my wife, her sister and I) had a private tour with no other people. Probably the agency is bit more expensive than others but in the end it was worth every single Dollar! The Guide Herberth was just great! He explained a lot and was funny as well. Every day he told us what we need to expect and take with us the next day! Excellent expectation Management! And he as well motivated us even the weather was though (snow and rain at 2nd day). Very important for such a Trek and the motivation is the food. The Chef Sabino was just outstanding! Every morning he woke us up with fresh coca tea. The food was amazing! And the places we spent the night were all greate! The Trek is not easy and you should be prepared. Especially the second day was though. There is the high alltitude and long steep uphill sections. In our case the weather was as well though. It was first raining, than snowing and again raining. And there was a very cold wind at the top and the snow feeld like small needelsticks. Even for us who spend the weeks before in Bolivia at high alltitude it was hard. Overall it was an outstanding and amazing experience! Thanks a lot go get peru!

Great experience with “Go Get Peru”
To discover Peru with Juan Carlos and Go Get Peru stays an unique experience. Not only the perfect organization, coordination of all the dates and details make this agency a special one, but most of all the individual approach. Go Get Peru will fit your trip to your wishes. For me were the Salkantay Trail, visit to the Machu Picchu, Wayna Picchu and the trip to the Rainbow Mountains the pearls of my journey across Peru – all perfectly organized by J.C. (Go Get Peru). Additionally I had the unique possibility to be near to the local people, due to a visit in a local weaving community – J.C. thanks for that too! Everything took place in a friendly atmosphere. I felt more as a friend than as a customer. I’d highly recommend Go Get Peru to everybody, especially if you want to avoid large groups – here you are perfect. Asia

          Rainbow mountains
The trip was awesome. I had a private tour so I was able to go at my own pace and ask many questions. Also he took pictures of me which was very great for my memory and to show everyone! This trip was fantastic and I’d highly recommend it to any hiker out there.

Inka trail-Machu Picchu and Rainbow mountain
My friend and I had such a great experience with gogetperu. We did the 2 days Inka Trail and visit Machu Picchu and hiked the rainbow mountain for another day. Both tours were really well organized (transportation from and to our hotel, the guide, the hotel in Aguas Calientes). Juan Carlos was really friendly and available for everything. We had the chance to book the tours even if there were only the two of us, it seemed to be with family!

          Great Experience, perfect organization
We booked a Tour with Gogetperu (Exciting Peru Experience) this May and I can fully recommend this Operator! Before our Journey we talked to J.C. about our schedule and he arranged every detail we requested. On our trip we first arrived to Lima where we got picked up and were brought to our Hotel in Miraflores. (Here we maybe would have added a City Tour to stay one day longer). The next morning we headed to the airport to take our flight to Arequipa. After arrival we had a private City Tour through the town. The next day we went forward to the amazing Colca Canyon (Chivay). On our way we already got a first impression of the scenery which we could enjoy even more the following day when we watched the condors of the valley. After lunch we went by bus to the City of Puno. On day 5 we did a very nice tour on the Titicaca Lake and visited the floating islands of Uros. The day after we arrived to Cusco. Here we booked the city tour in advance and visited some of the most important Inca Sights of the City and learned a lot about the architecture of the inca. Then the day after we had the most special experience of our trip. With a private guide (Hamilton) we went to a local community to experience the art of weaving. With the knowledge of our guide and the amazingly welcoming people of the sacred Valley we had a great time. We saw even more of the Sacred Valley when we started our trip in direccion of Machu Picchu. We visited the old agricultural Inca Sights Pisaq and Ollantaytambo before taking the Train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town). Also here our Pick Up was perfectly organized and the staff brought us to our Hotel. Our Final stop and also Highlight of all our trip was Machu Picchu of course. The Guide Joel was very knowledgeable and provided us the perfect all around package to enjoy this amazing place to the fullest. After returning to Cusco we were really pleased that J.C. booked us a Free Day before our departure back to Lima. Therefore we had some more time in Cusco to explore a little bit more of the City and to buy some souveniers. All in all there is absolutely nothing to complain about and to be honest we were really surprised about the organization and punctuality of the services provided!
