I did two tours with them - 1 booked through get your guide and one directly through WhatsApp. The GetYourGuide one was seamless, communication was excellent and the tour guide was extremely knowledgable. The day was excellent and I felt very secure travelling as a female solo, with the group being really social and meeting lots of lovely people. My second tour was booked directly through them. The actual tour again was fantastic, the other people on the tour were amazing, guide was excellent, the experience of the tour was excellent. However, leading up to the tour, communication was minimal. This tour required two overnight buses, and as a solo female I wanted a little bit of reassurance of someone meeting me at the other end (given I was arriving at 4/5am), this was not given to me. Nor were my bus tickets until about an hour before when I messaged to ask about them. Overall the tours were great, just minimal communication for the second one when booked directly with the company .

It was unbelievable experience With my tour guy Adolfo . Adolfo organized everything for me all the trips from A-to-Z all the days when I was stating in Peru. I really highly recommend to use Adolfo, believe me you won’t be Disappointed.

Amazing tour! Great WhatsApp communication from them. I requested a few last minute changes and they did their best to accommodate. We did the ATV tour of rainbow mountain and red valley. Be prepared that it’s not an easy tour. The road is extremely curvy and you can easily get motion sick. ATV ride is not easy. But my kids 23 and 18 had a blast. The hike is strenuous. The guide helped us a lot. Unfortunately it was snow covered white mountain for us instead of rainbow mountain :(. Food was FANTASTIC!! Overall 5 stars!!!

We had a fantastic experience on our Rainbow Mountain tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable, sharing lots of great information, and he was incredibly patient while taking pictures of us. He also made sure to stop whenever we needed to catch our breath, which was much appreciated given the high elevation. A great plus was that he had Florida water for us to inhale whenever we were out of breath-it really helped cope with the high altitude. We booked the tour that included ATVs, and it was a great choice! After arriving by bus, we rode ATVs up the mountain, which meant we only had to walk a short distance-perfect for such an elevated area. The breakfast and lunch included in the tour were very good. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and l'd highly recommend this tour!

I have no idea how this company has only 5 star reviews and I refuse to believe its accurate… this was the worst tour company and most dangerous experience of our lives (and this is coming from 2 young, athletic people who are used to mountaineering, rock climbing, etc). Going to be a lengthy review to really explain how horrible this experience was. We should’ve known this company was extremely suspicious in the first place because they were the only tour guide outfit that was doing tours of both Red Valley and Rainbow Mountain, no one else was doing it because of safety concerns during rain season. Anyways, we booked a “hiking” tour of Rainbow Mountain and for some reason we were put with an entire group that booked an ATV tour (we later found out we paid the EXACT same amount as everyone else). Once we got to our destination, we were told we had to hike to the top and everyone else was to take ATVs up.. so everyone left us (including our original guide Agusto) and we began walking up with a different tour guide who wasn’t even supposed to be our guide and didn’t speak any English. Not even halfway up to the top, our guide was picked up by an ATV and just left us entirely alone to finish the hike to the top (not to mention, it was a 6 mile hike and nearly 1500ft elevation gain to the top, with a starting point of 15000ft… that’s insanely dangerous for anyone that isn’t acclimated to the altitude or physically VERY fit). They did not tell us where to go, they just pointed to the top of the mountain while saying “vamos” and laughing at us. Once we got to the top, our entire tour group was nowhere to be found, and neither was our tour guide that randomly got picked up on an ATV and left us. At this point we’re literally freaking out thinking we’re going to be left in the mountains of Peru with no ride back to Cusco. After asking countless other tour groups, we found our way to rainbow mountain and found our tour group and our original tour guide Agusto had no idea we were left entirely alone, and was not in any communication with the other guide who was supposed to accompany us to the top. We later came to find out this same exact situation basically happened to another group on the same day!! Once the tour was finally over we began driving back towards Cusco the same way we came in, and at this point all of the roads had turned to mud. The company easily could have picked us up from the same pick-up point as every other tour company and had a very safe drive back to Cusco but instead we left from our starting point which was an extremely dangerous drive over a mountain pass. At one point, the van got stuck in 3-4ft of mud and they had absolutely no self rescue equipment to get the van unstuck. They had 13 of us get out of the van while they tried to get it out of the mud and everyone literally had to huddle together to stay warm because it was freezing outside (nearly 0 degrees Celsius) and raining. It got to the point where 5 of us had to help them push the van out of the mud while being ankle deep in mud, in the middle of the mountains, with no cell service. We finally get the can unstuck and the driver is speeding around corners on the mountain pass, and riding EXTREMELY close to the edge of the road that was eroding away. Seriously thought we were going to die. All this aside, the “breakfast” and “lunch” they fed us was probably the worst meal we had in our 3 weeks in Peru.. literally we were all joking about it because of how disgusting and horrible it was. I would absolutely never recommend this company to ANYONE, we were borderline considering calling the police to notify them of how irresponsible and dangerous it was for them to take 13 people this route up to red valley when they must’ve known how dangerous it was and that no one your company was willing to do it. Please do not support this company. 0/10 experience. Red Valley and Rainbow Mountain though… 10/10 beauty. Find someone else to take you there.

Had a great time on this tour. Pickup from hotel was prompt. Itinerary was clearly explained in English and Spanish. Breakfast and lunch both had varied options accommodating all diets. The ATV’s were so much fun. Would recommend!

Day trip to rainbow mountain, I have a cold so didn't want to push myself walking and someone in my hostel suggested ATV tour. It was a great way to see rainbow mountain although you do only get 45mins at the top and no opportunity to see the red valley, but for me it was worth being able to rest and still see rainbow mountain. Breakfast and lunch included which were both good Angie was a brilliant tour guide, she was always checking everyone was okay, she spoke to us in English and Spanish, and she was very fun! We visited the rainbow 🌈 mountain with ATVs on the 30th of August. We were a party of 4 and our team leader was Shirley. Everything was perfect and well organised. And safe. Shirley was amazing and helpful and fun, and made us feel safe and not worry about a thing. The food was great and the walk from the point where the atvs stopped was not more than 7 minutes to the top (including stops to breath). Highly recommend it!

This is not a reflection of Adolfo but instead Erick (one of the guides the company hired). Avoid all tours with Erick, he’s rude, arrogant and aggressive. It cannot even be classed as a walking tour to start with. He took us into a random shop (which I assume his friend owned) and told us all to buy stuff from this shop. A little while later he took us into a music shop and wasted even more of our time. He proceeded to play each pan pipe instrument one by one for 15 minutes. We then all left as he was wasting our time and we were not feeling well. Erick then corned our friend who was behind us trying to leave too and forced her to give him a tip. We then walked down the hill and he chased after us screaming and shouting saying where are you going you can’t leave without a tip. We told him we were feeling unwell and were going home. He then proceeded to scream at us swearing calling my friend a mother f*****, and then assaulted/pushed my friend into a wall. He wanted to start a fight but he wanted us to start which we were not going to do. He then insisted that my other friend should hit Erick as he repeatedly shouted “hit me”. He went on to say he was going to call the police, he kept calling someone and pretending it was the police. He said he was going to get us banned from the country and then proceeded to follow us. We kept crossing the road to avoid any more verbal and physical abuse which Erick had already directed at us. However, he kept following us whilst we were trying to get a way from him. Erick hid his name badge and recorded us and said we were on cctv (which would only show him assaulting my friend). This was such a scary experience and something I hope no other tourist should ever have to experience. Quite frankly he could have been arrested for physical and verbal abuse that was directed us. He lets down all the other tour guides in Peru who all work so hard in the industry.

The tour was amazing!!! We didn’t suffer altitude because Shirlei helped us with everything. She was there in every moment of the tour. The Rainbow mountains were really emotional.

We contacted them for a private trip to the rainbow mountain due to short time we had in Cusco. They gave us very reasonable option and arranged for the 3am start private ride. The ATV ride was very fun and I appreciate how Mr. Aldo drove us the entire way and made sure if we had to go to the bathroom. Because of them and their help, we were able to see the mesmerizing view of the rainbow mountain. Oscar was an amazing tour guide who gave us valuable information and also went to the ATV ride with us. Thank you Mr. Aldo and Oscar!

The views were really nice, and riding the ATVs were a fun experience! Our guide, Jose, was very optimistic and made sure we were having a good time.

This is the one! I did a ton of research before deciding on a tour and really glad I did this one, as they get you closest to the mountain than any other tour. Pick up was smooth and timely. They sent me a taxi to the shuttle as my airbnb is outside the city center. The drive is long but the van was quite comfortable and I was able to sleep the whole way there. I also appreciated that the driver was really safe because the road on the last stretch is windy, narrow cliffs. Jose was a super fun host! I loved his energy and he took great care of us, offering natural remedies for altitude sickness, taking pictures, and keeping the vibes going! The ATV ride was super fun. Not difficult or scary at all and you can go at your pace. You ride for abt 25 mins and you arrive at the mountain. When we got to the mountain there was barely anyone there but it was super foggy and you could hardly see it. Jose assured us it could still clear and he was right. 20 mins later the sun was shining and we climbed to the view point to take the best photos. We were only up there around 40 mins so it did feel a bit rushed, but it was all still super worth it. Plus it was super cold so I prob couldn’t have stayed much longer anyway. Although the drive was long, I didnt feel it cause I slept the whole way there and back. Highly recommend you bring: - protection from dust for your mouth and nose - warm gloves and warm hat - small change so you can take photos with the llamas (recommended tip is 5-10 soles) - motion sickness medication for the bus ride (plus it doubles as a sleep aid for the drive!) Don’t hesitate to book with this company, you’ll be in good hands!

Our guide - Carlos “Charlie” - was amazing. His English is impeccable and he made sure we were looked after all day and went the extra mile. The meals are great and a good break from the bus journey to make the it a great full-day out.

I had an amazing trip to Rainbow Mountain all thanks to my amazing guide, Jose. He is really amazing. Throughout the trip, when we are riding our ATV, he makes sure safety comes first. He makes sure no one is left behind as we ride all the way to Rainbow Mountain. He also has a hidden talent. He is a very skillful photographer. He knows exactly where to take perfect Instagram photo. He also took all our photos and it looks so beautiful the first time. No need for further touch up. The breakfast and lunch is also amazing. I really love the variety and the best part, it is traditional Peruvian, something which my wife and I like so much. On behalf of my wife and I who traveled all the way from Malaysia, my sincere thanks to Jose, for making our trip to Rainbow Mountain so beautiful. I highly recommend this trip but if you want an amazing trip, make sure you ask for Jose to be your guide 😊
