From taxis, bus, and train, we really got to experience the whole trip and learn about the area, including the sacrad valley. The Day trip was exactly how he said it would be. We really enjoyed the tour of Machu Picchu. It was a wonderful experience. I recommend booking with Oswald.

The company we counted on served us very well and solved our problems. We didn't have tickets and they got those tickets to Machupicchu for us. Attention was very good and pleasant, they were very attentive and punctual with the service... The tour company made this trip very easy and memorable. I was very limited on time, and had to make a flight from Cusco back to Lima on the night of the tour. Oswaldo, the tour operator, even went to pick up our luggage from the hotel and met us back at the bus station so we could go straight to the airport. Service on this tour was impecable from booking till completion. Communication is started from the time the tour is confirmed till the very end. This is the best tour company ever. We got picked up bright and early at the hotel. We were driven 2 hours to Ollentaytambo to hop on the train to Aguas Calliente. The train ride was amazing. The views were beautiful. Words don’t do it justice. The staff on the train were super helpful too. They are extremely receptive to their passengers. Once at Aguas Callientes I met my Machu Picchu tour guide Edwin. We took a bus from Aguas Calliente up to Machu Picchu. We saw people hiking it and I know I would be done for the day just after the hike up. That bus leaves you fresh for the Machu Picchu experience. Once in Machu Picchu, you take a tour all over Machu Picchu. Edwin listened to what we wanted to see and tailored the experience to what we wanted and to my physical capabilities. He gave me plenty of time to rest but kept talking during all the rests. I learned a great deal about Machu Picchu. I’m a big guy in my 40’s that lives at sea level. The rests that the tour guide took made the trip enjoyable. We had told the tour guide we wanted to try Cuy (Guinea Pig) but probably wouldn’t have time since it took 40 min to prepare. Edwin arranged with the restaurant to have it prepared and ready for us when we arrived. He called the restaurant to let them know we were on our way down so it would be ready to eat when we arrived. I won’t ruin the Cuy experience for you by giving my opinion. Everyone should try to explore different cultures. I say give it a try. The trip back to Cusco was easy as well and basically a reverse of arrival journey. We had one exception. From Ollentaytambo we took a Perurail bus back to Cusco which was easy and comfortable. . Oswaldo, the tour operator, had picked up our luggage from the hotel and met us at the bus stop so we could make our flight back to Lima. This trip was a once in a lifetime experience and it was made easy on this tour. I tried to research everything on my own but got so frustrated with all the rules, coordinating and hassle of doing it. This tour took all of my worries and concerns out of the equation and let me focus on having a memorable experience. I truly recommend this tour.

The tour was very nice, the guide was friendly and attentive, the schedules were perfect, Oswaldo and his team coordinated everything very well. I recommend this trip to Machupicchu, it is incredible

**The 2 star rating is for this deal not the trip or tour guide itself. Those were all great. ** Machu Pichu is a picture perfect destination, the tour within the city was great, however the process after the tour was confusing. This package includes pickup and drop off but the tour itself is only about 2-2.5 hours and this package was a whole day event. In other words from the time our tour was over we needed to kill about 3 hours before we could catch the train back to Cusco. The train ride back was about 2 hours longer than the initial ride because we were getting dropped off in a different area than from our pickup, we didn’t know why. From the train station a bus is supposed to have picked us up, but they left us after I went into the restroom for 5 minutes, luckily we caught a taxi. If you are going to Machu Pichu buy your ticket in advance, get to the train station early and book your guide at the site. It would be a lot cheaper and you don’t have to wait on anyone’s schedule, just my opinion.

1. We had reference number 956114038 for 4:00am, to do the 8am visit. We also received an updated booking reference BR-956114038 that didn’t mention a change. We received a message the evening before the tour, with changes in times. The delivered message scheduled us for the last showing, at 2pm. Why was this a problem, many additional places that we wanted to visit were closed. I have photos showing the operating times of closed events. 2. When the evening before notice was given, we thought that all the tickets necessary to complete this tour would be sent. Before leaving the hotel (driver was late), we did not receive the bus tickets to Machu Picchu. We also didn’t receive any further information. We didn’t know who Pedro was, or what he looked like. We noticed other tour groups were gathering in the plaza at the train station. We looked outside of the train station area. But we didn’t see a white flag. We were over an hour early at the train drop off, maybe 75 minutes, and saw the 1pm tours from other groups leave. We started to panic at 1:45pm we asked 15 employees working there for help, but they could speak English. We finally found one could and he called Oswaldo. He informed us that Pedro was waiting at the bus stop. For which we struggled again to find that, not obvious, and no signs from the train exit. When we got there, we hoped we could on the next bus, but we had no tickets. It took two missed buses before we got printed tickets, to get on a third. We arrived at Machu Picchu at 3:38. I was told (by Oswaldo) that we would get a 2-full hour tour, with a professional English speaking guide. There were no guides for hire left, so wandered for 1 hour and 15 minutes without a guide. Also, we found that we missed events that we would have seen in earlier tours. We paid paid expecting these events. Oswaldo said the only event tickets open were 12, 1 and 2 pm were left. He chose, without asking us, the 2pm ticket. If we had the Noon ticket, we could of still been there 2 hours, and see some other closed trails, purchase a guide, and got our passport stamp. 3. Our return train ticket was booked with my brother and myself in the same seat. The train office reseated us in a very noisy car “F”. For 45 minutes plus, there was loud laughing and shouting. With many attempts by staff, to quiet them down, it wasn’t until a passenger video tapped them and told them they were reporting this to the company, an a threat to disembark them at the first opportunity, that they quieted down. 4. We purchased three adults tickets for $934.56 total. We feel that an unguided tour, for less than two hours, where the “meat” of this tour was Machu Picchu, was due to decisions made without our input (a fault of the company). We also feel that some reimbursement or compensation is in order.

Highly recommended! We were desperate to find tickets for the Machu Picchu since we hadn’t booked our tickets ahead of time, and there was a strike as well at the Machu Picchu at the beginning of our stay. But Oswaldo helped us and literally took care of everything! Thanks to him we got to see the Machu Picchu! Everything was well organized and Oswaldo was always available to answer our questions. He also helped us to book another tour that was sold out online. Thanks for everything :)

The tour was excellent and well organised, from the pick-up at the hotel till the return. Knowledgeable and a considerate guide took us round.

Terrible organization. Last minute we were told we had to buy our own tickets and no one was alongside our group to assist us. We had to get the money back from the organizer. The pickup driver got lost in finding our Airbnb. I asked if he was using GPS as there are two streets with the same name as ours. After chatting with the other guests, the driver couldn't find anyone on time. Bus transportation up to Machu Picchu was also missing from our reservation. We had to pay out of pocket and once again connect with the organizer to receive that money back. The only good thing out of this package was the tour guide they outsourced. Book with another organizer.

Our tour operator was fantastic. There was a lot of communication ahead of the trip and plenty of people on the team at each step to guide you along. When I missed my return train, our operator worked extra to secure our ride back in to Cusco. I was very concerned because we did not have tickets to Machu Picchu ahead of time but the team got us in line for the daily tickets and we were able to see this wonderful site. Had we not chosen this tour option, we would have missed Machu Picchu… which is something you should never do when visiting Peru.

The company did a great job arranging the tour to Machu Picchu on the short notice. Everything was organized very well for the competitive price. The guide was knowledgeable and also made the great pictures for us. He also recommended a great restaurant to have a dinner prior to our train back. We enjoyed our tour - great experience. It was a little bit exhausting but definitely worth it!

This was a great experience. I am 72 years old, over weight, bad knees and I made it all the way to the top and back down again. My son, daughter-in-law, daughter, 11 yr old grandson and two friends were here with me. My grandson was like a llama or alpaca going up the pathways, me I was slow but made it. We took great pictures and our guide Edwin made sure we took time to truly enjoy the beauty and immense splendor.

We purchased the tour prior to our Trip to Peru as we thought there was too much complexity around organising a trip to Machu Pichu. Although the tour guide and experience of machu pichu was good. We would not recommend the this company and will list below why This was the itinerary for the day: - Approx 0400hrs taxi pick to from hotel to Inca trail bus station in Cusco - Inca bus from Cusco to ollantaytambo station (operated by Inca Rail) - from apporx 10am 2pm waiting for tour in aguas calientes - 2pm transported to machu pichu with English guided tour (bus ticket included). Finished around 5pm - train back from Aguas calientes to Ollanyaytambo then bus back to Cusco (operated by Inca Rail) The good things from the trip: - Inca Rail train and their organisation was good and this is independent of the tour operator so credit goes to them - taxi pick up from hotel was promt and on time - tour guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic - tour was a good length and pace The bad and why we would recommend this tour - breakfast not included - early pick up at 0400hr when we actually began our tour at 2pm - what is the point of this? Why waste so much of our time? - the meet up at train station in Aguas calientes was terrible (we were expecting a person with our name but apparently the person had the group name in the flag which we were not told about so terrible organisation). Also the person meeting us was not friendly, made it look like it was our fault that we didn't know the group name when this was never told to us - too much time to waste awaiting for the tour to start, why can't they organise a later train if tour was going to start at 2pm. - no taxi or transport from Cusco Inca Rail bus stop to hotel - overall the day felt poorly executed and run. We are paying a premium for all the organisation to be done properly so would expect the premium service. Our recommendation -Don't use these guys for tour. -The price doesn't reflect the service provided -It is much easier to DIY your own experience than paying a tour company
