We will be leaving from our office to Maras. Maras is home to over 3600 Salt Wells. Strategically dug into the mountainside, thousands of shallow pools filled with salt water eventually evaporate and leave behind the crystallised salt, a process that has been practiced for more than 500 years. It’s believed that the salt pans were originally constructed by the Wari civilisation, which predates the Inca. However, the Inca saw the economic opportunity in harvesting the salt of Maras and expanded the salt pans further up the mountainside. We will then be visiting the iconic, Moray agricultural terraces. Moray is 4.5 miles from the town of Maras and 39 miles from Cusco. The main feature that impresses travellers is its system of circular agricultural terraces, which are up to 330 feet deep. They are build using retaining walls connected by an irrigation system. Moray can be considered a crop lab– they used the terraces to create micro-climates and grow various products.

      Hidden Gem
Waqrapukara is a true gem and I enjoyed a lot and learnt a lot visiting this hidden site. It was quite a walk from the town to the actual site. Guide explained many things about this place, most I could not even find on guide books. A well worth for the time and money spent.

      Worth It
I was unsure if I would be able to hike up to the Humantay Lagoon. It was a bit breath taking but totally worth. The view from the top is absolutely surreal. The lagoon itself is a true hidden gem snuggled between the snow capped Andean Peaks.

      Top Class
I am very happy to have had the opportunity of visiting Waqrapukara Archealogical site with Kinty Travel Cusco. It was a fantastic trip and every bit on the trek was very exciting and fun. The site involves a bit of a walk from the nearby town but it is totally worth. A musto see in Cusco.

      A good Introduction!
Everything was just as mentioned in their itinerary. The lady who attended us was very helpful and chaty. She did an amazing work of organising and planning this tour efficiently. The crew were very nice too. Certainly worth it for a good understanding about Incas culture.

Go talk to her for customized tour
When you have special needs, like time constraints, it's better to talk to a travel agent, instead of buying a standard package. I am glad I talked to Yesi and arrange my 2 day 1 night tour of MachuPichu and Sacred Valley in a way that suited me the best. She was patient and provided different options. I ended up visiting MP on the first day, staying in Ollantaytambo at night, taking a private tour of the Sacred Valley the next day and then catching a nightly flight from Cusco to Lima. The private tour guides Manuel and Ricardo were wonderful. It all worked out very well. The only complaint is that she didn't tell me that the path in MP only goes one way. The guided tour takes 2 hours and end at a place near the exit. If you wan to stay longer in MP you really have to go on your own instead of sticking with the tour guide.

      Super Experience
Had a terrific experience with Kinty Travel on our trip to machu Picchu. This was a very budget friendly option with a lot in offer. We enjoyed the walk from Hidro Eletrica to Aguas Calientes. Our kids gotmore excited when they figured out that this was the route that Hiram Bingham the Amercan professor who rediscovered machu Picchu walked on the same route. Machu Picchu is a very positive place with an excellent vibe and energy. Our accommodation in Aguas Calientes was nice, overlooking the river. The guide was very good too. We are very thankful to Kinty Travel and highly recommend them.

      Worth Doing
we were clueless on what to do on a free day and stubled upon yessenia from kinty and she highly recommended this tour. We decided to give it a go as we had tourist tickets valid for 10 days. The tour was very exceptional we visited a pre incan site too. All near the Cusco city. The guide was nice and explained a lot. We also had a chance to try the traditional Peruvuian food, CUY.

      Salkantay Trek with the best
Had by far the absolute best experience on the Salkantay Trek with Mark as our tour guide. Our group was amazing and everyone got alongverywell. The food was amazing and the sleeping accommodation were good. All the chefs worked very hard tomake sure that we were well fed. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the areas qwe walked through and he took time to explain the history and beliefsof the inca people, it was very culturally enriching. He had a great deal of knowledge on different plantrs and animasl in the region and even made us tea out of plants he picked which was very delicious. He cared a lot about each member of the group and took and effort and time to klnow us all. I would certainly recommend this tour and this company to everyone it is quite challenging but well worth at the end.

      Unbelivable
The trek to Salkantay was unbelivable! We did the tour with Kinty Travel Cusco and had a privilige of having Russel as our guide and Cirlio as our chef a legendary combination! I have done plenty of day hikes but this was my first real backpacking trek experience and because of Russel I am hooked! Russel and crew went above and beyond for us and we were so well taken care of. Honestly, the best food of our entire time in Peru came from the trek. We had authentic Peruvian food from Cirlio who is clearly passionate of what he does. This was the best experience I have had and will certainly be an unforgettable trek of my life. Thanks Kinty Travel and team.

      Great Introduction to Cusco
I was in a group of 11 on this city tour and this was a nice introduction to different parts of the city and how the incans built them and its existence after the Spanish colonisation. The guide was very nice she knew a lot and was always willing to answer all questions.

Very Informative and value for time and money
We found this trip to be quite effective in time and money as we got to see both the Sacred Valley of Incas and Machu Picchu in one trip. Yesenia from Kinty was very informative and helpful while we were looking for information. The guide, Eric was informative and helpful too. All in all we had a great time with them.

It was a half day trip from Cusco and was very nice visiting the salt pans that has been in use since pre Incan times. We also visited the agricultural laboratory of Moray where Incas were practicing different forms of farming in the circular shaped terraces. Totally Worth It.

The operator never answered the messages, he did not appear at the indicated site, a site where there was no agency either and they did not refund the money.
