Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- steffisG7531FM0 contributionsBeautiful Red Valley experienceThis tour was inspiring and breath taking. Nerio guided us with care, knowledge and passion. Walking up to 5000 meters above sea level, we got to enjoy pure nature and learnt about culture and the Andean cosmovision. Recommended for whoever wants to have an experience that opens the heart and the mind, all the while witnessing a kind of authentic beauty that goes beyond what words can express.Written August 3, 2024
- Albamac1230 contributionsNerio Salkantay 5*Nerio was a fantastic guide for the Salkantay 5 day trek. He provided abundant information on Inca history, the landscapes we were traversing, and Peruvian spirituality, which made the trek enjoyable and enriching. We had the best 5 days and we will never forget it. Thank you Nerio!Written June 2, 2024
- Emilia45670 contributionsWould definitely recommendMy friend and I had a great time doing Inca Jungle with Nerio. We felt safe during all of the activities and at all hostels booked and everything was run very smoothly. The guides spoke excellent English and Nerio is extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area. Amazing value for money and would recommend!Written July 11, 2019

Had a fantastic experience on my 5D4N salkantay hike to machu pichu. Trip was very well organised and the food provided by the OkiDoki chefs never disappointed. Cant beat being woken up at 4am with a mug of hot coca leaf tea whilst camping at 4200m with a view of Salkantay glacier. Special shout out to our guide Guillermo- he was great thoughout, his english was perfect, and he was clearly very interested in and well informed about the incan history and cultures, aswell as being really friendly guy, always grinning. Also plenty of freedom for everyone in the group to walk at their own pace and never felt rushed, slowed down, or lacking freedom at any point on the hike, which had been my only concern about going for a guided rather than unguided tour.
Great trip 10/10 thoroughly recommend and make sure to ask for Guillermo as your guide.
