          Great Tour
Great tour of some archeological sites while saving some time to enjoy the rest of the day. Transportation was arranged to and from the airport which made our travel plans much easier. We would definitely book again.

          Best option for single travelers.
This was one my favorite tours. So happy Heidi has tours for singles. It's one of a few agencies that value your business. If you are going it on your own they are best!

          HIGHLY RECOMMEND ❤️
Not only were Heidi and this trip absolutely amazing but it was the most incredible experience we've ever had. Heidi went above and beyond to make sure everything was planned and thoroughly explained. We even stopped at her home so we could experience the culture of her home town and she treated us to delicious coffee and breakfast. Heidi continued to remind us of when/where we needed to be daily and made our lives so much easier. And the tour guide she hired for us for Machu Picchu was amazing!! We love Heidi Travel!!! ❤️

Peru The power of love and friendship
First of all, I want to thank all the Peruvians who made our trip special. I will recommend Heidi. She is your friend in a strange land. She did not leave us any time feeling alone and helpless. She was commendable. The whole trip was fine and smooth, and we were happy but when we reached Cusco, the tourism police would not let people go to Machu Pichu even if you had the ticket in your hands. The one and only website of Peru tourism sells the tickets to Machu Pichu, and it never mentions that you will not be given any choice to pick a hike, you will not be allowed to go on a day when you had booked it. So, every day from 4am to 9pm you have to stand in line to get approved by tourism police, then after standing for the whole day you may have to go and repeat standing again in the line from 4am to 9pm and you may be told to enjoy the village and go back, without seeing the Machu Pichu. I was literally crying. We packed our bags, and we were about to leave without seeing the Machu Pichu but then Heidi and her friend got us in.In my opinion Heidi and her friend Giovanna have a good team and they will take care of you. They did for us. Love the Peruvians .

Machu Picchu with Heidi Travel Peru
Heidi travel is a very small independent agency based out of Cusco, Peru. Upon arrival in Cusco Heidi met me at the airport and took me to my hotel. From the start of my trip right to the end Heidi arranged everything, and if I had any questions she was always available by phone or what’s app to answer my concerns. She went out of her way to make my visit to Machu Picchu one I will never forget. Anything she can help you with she will. If your planning day trips or longer in the Cusco area I would 110% recommend Heidi travel she’s a fantastic person, local and very, very happy to help you arrange anything from travel to accommodation to entry tickets. She also works with some wonderful local knowledgable guides and has contacts all over the Cusco area. I can’t recommend Heidi Travel Peru highly enough! Thank you Heidi

          Stress free Machu Picchu trip
Heidi was incredibly informative and communicated consistently before, during, and after my trip. Heidi put together an itinerary for me that covered all of the planning details. She met me in person to review all the steps and give me the train and bus tickets. She also offered suggestions for other places and things to do.

Best personal service by Heidi during dream vacation to Machupicchu, Ollantaytambo, Maras, Moray and Cusco.
We were planning visit to Machupicchu and were searching for travel agent and got reference of Heidi travels from trip advisor. I sent what’s up message and received response immediately. We then exchanged messages and came up with best itinerary. Heidi asked for some advance to do bookings for train and hotels and I must say I was skeptical to transfer money to someone I did not know. We were traveling from USA to Peru for first time and unfortunately missed our flight to Lima from Atlanta. We quickly communicated to Heidi and she responded with modified reservations as we lost one day of our trip. Heidi received us at Cusco airport and we quickly became friends. Her English is very good and had no issues communicating. Her service was very personal and attention to details. Her guides to Machupicchu, Ollantaytambo, Maras and Moray were excellent. I would recommend to use her travel agency for any travel within Peru. Heidi even helped us for transportation from Nasca to paracas, when cruz del sur cancelled our bus at last moment.

          Spontaneous stay with Heidi
We met Heidi in Calca. She was super friendly and invited us to her home. Her lovely, spontaneous and welcoming character was a huge gift to us. While we enjoyed spending time with Heidi and her Family, she was very helpful, interested, knowing and answered all our questions. She helped us to get around in Calca when the roads were blocked. Meeting her was such a great experience and made us very happy. All the best for you and your lovely family, Heidi!

Great Tour with an Awesome Guide
Heidi was a great travel agent! She was very responsive and gave us clear instructions for our MP tour! Our guide for the tour was awesome and we also booked a few other tours in Cusco with Heidi directly. We loved both of the other ones we booked as well and I would recommend to book with Heidi!

Heidi Travel's Great & Safe for North Americans/Europeans/All People
My group of 9 friends and I used Heidi Travel to book local tours in Cusco and our Machu Picchu trip. She's very good at communicating through Whatsapp (will respond anytime) and only connects you with people she trusts. You can feel safe in knowing that you will be Heidi's top priority during your trip. My group returned back to Canada before the political unrest. But I'm sure Heidi will direct you to resources or is able to address your concerns on this matter.

          In a word, awesome!
Had an overall excellent experience with Heidi. I was nervous about working with an independent local outfit but she was totally trustworthy and most importantly, competent. She walked me though every step, provided all of my connections (bus tickets, train tickets, Machu Picchu tickets, etc) so it was seamless. Very professional and a genuine good person. Not many trips you feel obliged to give a hug to the person! Definitely worth your while

I contacted Heidi weeks in advanced to book her rainbow tour. At this time I ask if all the information listed on her website (Trip Advisor) was accurate, including pick up at 3:00 AM and only 9 persons on the tour. She confirmed. The day before the tour I messaged her to confirm this again (leaving at 3:00 was one of the reasons I chose her because I wanted to beat the crowd). This time she responded to me and said “no pick up at 5.” I sent her screenshots of our previous conversation and told her that was not acceptable. She then asked to meet with us to explain. We agreed. After much discussion we agreed we’d leave at 4:00 AM. Later that day she texted me and told me she needed a deposit, however we were on a tour so I didn’t receive her message until I got back to our home at 8:00 PM. I was under the impression that we would pay for the tour the day of. However, without clearly communicating it to me, she sent a random man to our Airbnb at 9:00pm to pick up money. I was not thrilled by this. The next morning we were picked up at late at 4:20 AM then proceeded to pick up TWELVE more people. Totaling 16 people, not 9 as promised. By the time all the people were picked up it was 5am. After an hour of driving we stop for breakfast and meet up with the other half of the group. Now totally almost 30 people (two full vans)! Also the stop for breakfast is a joke. They feed you a slab of egg, then make your stand around and waste time. At this point I realize that we were just pimped out to another tour company. The road to get to RM is terrible. It was bumpy, windy, and our driver was driving like he was training for NASCAR. We finally arrive to see only a thousand other vans and buses in the parking lot. We try to not let this deter us and start the hiking with the guide. Before the hike starts we loose more than half of group and the guide was walking several feet ahead of us. After 10 minutes of hiking we reach a bathroom on the trail and can see our guide in the distance flagging people to use the bathroom (for 1 soles). Within a matter of seconds our guide was gone. We looked around for a few minutes but at the start of the hike we were told we’d be pressed for time when we got to the top so we made the decision to proceed on our own. We completed the hike with two children who required frequent stops and at no point did our guide catch up with us. It took us about an hour to hike up RM. The elevation made it a difficult hike but we didn’t experience any sickness. We were at the peak for 20 minutes with the herds of people. If I had to estimate I’d say close to 200 people all trying to capture that one famous angle. It was terrible and people are rude and inconsiderate. We start to hike back and make it all they way to the car without seeing anyone in our group. We finally reach the van to see we are surprisingly first people back and our van driver is no where in site to let us sit inside because it was freezing outside. So we did in another tour companies van to stay warm. After 25 minutes of waiting we finally leave RM but for some God darn reason we decide to take an alternative route home - to see lakes??? I think we could agree most people did not care to see these lakes. Half the group didn’t even get out of the van when we stopped. After a hike like that all I want to do is get home and lay down, not detour an addition hour and a half! We then stop back at the same place for a late lunch. The buffet style food was terrible. We also were forced to wait around long after everyone finished. I had to tell the guide twice that everyone was ready to leave (people were just hovering by the vans). Finally we made it back to Cusco and they tell us they won’t drop us off at our hotel but will instead take us to the city center where we can walk back or catch a cap. Rainbow mountain is a beautiful site to see but this tour absolutely ruined it for us. If you’ve got the means, I would highly recommend doing a private tour.
