MINKAS arranged a private tour based on our interests. We did a 4 day tour to Machu Pichu, Sacred Valley and Cuzco. It was an amazing experience, thanks to MINKAS Team. Irwin took care of all the travel arrangements from the time we landed in Cuzco to dropping us back in the airport to Lima. The guides Julio and Santiago were exceptional. They were very knowledgeable, enthusiastic to share the history and culture of the sites we visited. Thanks to the driver Alfredo who did an amazing job driving us safely through the mountain terrains, so we could enjoy the breath taking views of the landscape. All the communications were very professional and I always received prompt response from Irwin when we had any questions. Thanks to MINKAS for creating a memorable experience for us.

MINKA'S Travel have been amazing, couldn't fault them! We contacted Irwin with a last minute request to go to Machu Picchu, even though we hadn't booked our tickets in advance and they we're technically sold out. These guys are the only tour agents in Cusco that will get you day tickets without booking in advance! They will sort the train, buses, accomadation etc. We met Dario at their office who was an absolute gentleman, he explained the whole process to us which is very simple. Dario met us at our hotel at 3am on the day of our trip to AC (Machu Picchu town) gave us all the tickets for trains and buses, he had even booked us a private taxi from Cusco to the train station which was well over 1 hour, it all felt very professional. We we're met in AC by a young lady who explained where we needed to be to get our tickets for the next day, she then checked us into our hotel which surprised us both and was really nice! (Suzanna Inn) We had a bedroom facing the river which was great! Free time in AC to chill etc. Next dsay breakfast was really good, and we left our bags at the hotel. We went to MP and we met Julio our guide at 10am by the main gates (I met him the evening before at our hotel for a briefing of the MP day). Spent 3 hours at MP with him, he's very funny and has all the info you need about MP, he's very knowledgable! Train back to AC that evening, then met by Dario who dropped us back to our hotel. 10/10 guys!! We would use Minka's Travel again! :-)

Tour guide Julio was great! We did the last minute two day tour for people without tickets. Worked out great, got circuit 2.

Travel with this company was a disappointing experience. My daughter and I only had four days in Cusco, and wanted to visit Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley. We were assured that our reservations were confirmed, including by our guide Jose. When we arrived in Aguas Calientes it took us 30 minutes to find our hotel, and when we did they didn't have our reservation. We had to call Minkas to be able to sleep there, which took another 30-40 minutes to clear up. On the day of Machu Picchu we were told to meet our guide at the bus station, but we couldn't find him. We called Minkas again, and they told us to get on the bus anyway. At the last minute Jose appeared. The experience was filled with stress and confusion, which was what we were trying to avoid by using a travel agency.

It was so nice trip! Staffs are all kind and friendly. They helped me all the way to Machu Picchu, and way back. Highly recommended!

My friend and I booked the “Machupicchu Tour 2 days / 1 night last-minute reservation” a week before our trip and had an amazing experience! We got worried when all Machu Picchu tickets were sold out on the govt website for the dates we needed, but I’m so glad our research led us to MINKAS. Irwin was extremely responsive and communicative via WhatsApp from beginning to end, answering all of our questions. He explained and organized seamless bus/train/car transfers and we had very safe drivers each way. Despite the tickets being last minute, we were able to get our desired time slot and circuit (7am Circuit 2 + Inca Bridge). Even the included hotel accommodation seemed perfectly coordinated with MINKAS. They let us check in early, prepared an early breakfast for us after we notified them of our tour time, and they were happy to hold any extra baggage so that we had very light backpacks at Machu Picchu. Our tour guide, Bryan, was the best, so we highly recommend asking for him if possible!! Bryan was very patient, knowledgeable, and calm. He encouraged breaks and took the best photos. It was raining and cloudy when we first arrived but Bryan’s expert timing and positivity helped ensure we still got to experience and capture the fantastic views. Bryan also gave us a great lunch recommendation once we returned to Aguas Calientes! We can’t say thank you enough to the whole team at MINKAS for making our visit so memorable!!

My stay with Minkas was one of the the best travel experiences I have ever had! They helped every step of the away – from figuring out which tour was the best for my friend and I, to helping book the accommodation at Mama's House and the tour, to the actual trip itself. The whole process was incredibly seamless and no detail was missed. Irwin and Dario were both so communicative and helpful which made the entire experience much more enjoyable and stress free. They make you feel part of the family and go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable and taken care of. The accommodation at Mama's House was also so homey feeling and the fresh juice and breakfast prepared every morning was delicious. The accommodation is also just a short walk to the town center so was very convenient for seeing the sites. We also booked the 2 day 1 night Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu tour through the Minkas site. Our tour guides, Juvenal and Bryan, were both excellent and so knowledgable and friendly. They knew all about the history of the sites we visited and the best spots to take photos. I highly recommend booking the 2 day 1 night tour – we were able to arrive at Machu Picchu just before sunrise so the views were absolutely beautiful and it was not crowded with people yet. We also were able to see more areas that are typically closed later in the day. The whole tour was magical. When I come back to Peru I am booking exclusively through Minkas Travel. We booked the last minute trip to Peru and we literally only had 48 hours before we flew to Lima and we weren't sure we were going to be able to get to Machu Picchu but thanks to minka's and Irwin our guide everything worked out perfectly. I couldn't be happier. It was a smooth experience and we felt supported and guided throughout the entire time. Irwin and the team at Minka also was able to help my friend who had her trip canceled to Machu Picchu get tickets as well so once again miracles were made and we have Minkas to thank for that.

I am recommending this tour. It is was very good. Bryan is very good guide. We went through circle 2 and at first it was cloudy but after sometime clouds were gone and we was able to see all beauty of Machu Picchu.
