Excellent option for tours around Cusco at decent prices
We enjoyed very much our experience in Cusco with this agency. We did the Sacred Valley, all archeological sites around Cusco, Palcoyo mountain, Lake Titicaca. Nilo was very nice and helped us with all the activities and explanations about the places. We recommend this agency while in Cusco. Gracias Nilo por todo!

          Careful Attention to All Details
I would second the extensive positive review posted here by Dorito50, one of my traveling companions. Especially notable was the individual attention paid by Nely, whose personal visit the night before ensured that we had all needed tickets and that all questions were answered. The early morning pickup by our driver Eduardo and the rendezvous later in Ollantaytambo were handled with military precision. Our Machu Picchu guide Paul was more knowledgable and personable than we could have hoped. It was a long day, but a satisfying one.

Perfect Tour on a Picture -Perfect Day
Visiting Machu Picchu in one day from Cusco makes for a very long day, but sometimes scheduling and other practicalities require long days to fulfill our travel dreams. That’s what happened to our group of four adults when we set out to visit Machu Picchu, but Nely and this full-day trip (plus some very fine weather) made the day as picture-perfect and trouble-free as it could possibly have been. For anyone unable to visit Michu Picchu on a more relaxed overnight itinerary from Aguas Calientes or Ollantaytambo, we cannot recommend a tour more highly than this one. Booking and payment were easy. The night before our tour, Nely came to our AirBnB to deliver our train and site tickets and to go over the schedule for the next day step by step. At 5 am the next morning, our driver for the road leg, Eduardo, was at the curb the instant we walked out the door. At the exact same moment, Nely texted to wish us good morning and let us know he had arrived. Eduardo then drove with admirable care and professionalism in a comfortable mini-van the 90 minutes that are required to reach the train in Ollantaytambo during the rainy season when the train does not run all the way to Cusco. At the station, he walked us to the train and showed us where he would be waiting when we returned many hours later. At PeruRail, our names were on the checkin list, our seats were reserved, the ride to Aguas Calientes was spectacular, the coffee and snacks were welcome, and our personal English-speaking guide was waiting when we stepped off. The next few hours with Paul were an immersion in the life, lore, architecture, urban planning and everything else of the Inca site, with time for every question and the bonus of Paul’s excellent cell camera handling. When the tour was done, he showed us the way to our return train, helped us pick a restaurant for lunch and saw us off with big hugs. Then we made the trip back up to our AirBnB in Cusco in reverse just as seamlessly as we had come to the sacred valley, with an onboard fashion show of baby alpaca clothing, no less. Not long after we reached home, Nely checked in by WhatsApp to confirm everything was as it should be. The organizers of this tour promise to take every worry out of every step in a one-day tour to Machu Picchu, and they deliver with a level of warmth, excellence and professionalism we (very seasoned travelers) find rare. Highly recommended.

          Tour of the sacred valley
I relied on Cusco Destinations for a half-day tour of Cusco (Sacsayhuaman Fortress, Q'enqo, Puca-Pucara and finally the Tambomachay temple) and a full day visit of the sacred valley (starting from the textile center of Awanacancha, then Pisaq both ruins and market, Ollantaytambo, salt mines of Maras, terraces of Moray, Chinchero). I greatly appreciated the availability and professionalism of Nely, who organized the tours doing everything possible to satisfy our requests and has always been very punctual and precise in his answers. Equally appreciated are the two guided tours, thanks to the guide, Soledad, very well prepared, kind, correct (so to speak, he has never imposed detours towards "friends shops", as guides sometimes do ...), always ready to give explanations and answer questions; she was also very nice and helpful with my 7 year old son, and gave us great advice even for the following days. The driver's service is also excellent, with a comfortable and well-maintained car. Based on my experience, Cusco Destinations is a reliable and excellent tour operator with average prices.

We looked at various options (still from home) as we were very interested in doing the Canyon Colca tour and do it well. Happy to have chosen this option. Our guide (Willo) was really special: excellent English, very patient and super helpful. Our meals and hotel were not included in the package as we had already booked Colca Lodge separately. However, we had lunch in 2 different places where they took us, good food for good price.

          Exceptional Tour and Experience
The Cusco region is steeped in fascinating history and it is worth arranging a tour (and other tours a cross the Sacred Valley). Our travel advisor with Tierra Viva Hotels arranged our tours for us. We had the best tour guide in the Sacred Valley Region, Dionel Baca Collantes. Dionel is exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate about the history in this region. He truly brings it to life right before your eyes. Just as important, Dionel personalized the experience for us, which made it even more special. As I've mentioned in other posts, the Sacred Valley can offer transformational experiences so it is important to be with a guide that provide this. In all of my travels, Dionel is the best guide that I have ever had!

A Guide Makes ALL the Difference!
Our driver/guide Nilo was the best! Without him, I would've taken all these amazing sites at face value, and what a waste that would've been! The details he shared about Moray and the Salt Mines blew me away. I was especially impressed with how scientifically advanced a site like Moray is, even by modern standards! He also took us on a highly recommended side trip to the town of Chincherro, where we attended a textile making class where the locals still use all natural dyes and traditional weaving methods to create beautiful blankets and clothing. Take advantage of the helpful guides when visiting Cusco! They will enhance your visit and your admiration for this wonderful place will increase exponentially!

my friend and i booked a private day tour through the sacred valley. We have a lovely and skilled driver and a wonderful guide with a lot of passion and knowledge about the richt inheritage the Inca left. We drove to Pisac and were amazed by the huge terraces, saw Maras and Moray, visited a small community were we saw how they make Alpaca wool, had a beautiful lunch and ended up in Ollantaytambo, the last "living" Inca city, a very cute little village with yet another impressive Inca monument. Thank yo Cusco Destinations, for the great day trip!!!
