Flor was amazing and very accommodating. She was attentive to our well being as we were still acclimating to the altitude when we took this tour. She's so passionate about her culture's gastronomy and history that it really made the tour that much more enjoyable. Her recommendations for places outside of Cusco were also amazing. Overall it was a great tour, made better by a great tour guide.

We loved our tour with Flor! It was a great way to get to know the layout of the city on our second day there, and to learn the history. Flor was so nice, friendly, and easy to talk to, and her love of Cusco and Peru shines through her as a tour guide. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting her and the locals she introduced us to, and listening to all she had to say about the food, culture, and history in Cusco. She was able to give us advice about other things to do in the area as well. The food was beyond plentiful - come hungry! Highly recommend this tour company. Signing up online was seamless and they we quick to return emails about my various questions.

Liz was so incredible- she really took good care of me, gave interesting information about the city and food, and was so much fun. She really made this a great experience, and gave me helpful tips and recommendations for restaurants in the city. Definitely ask for Liz as your guide!

I’ve done multiple food tours in a few cities across the globe and this was by far the best one. Our guide, Flor, was extremely knowledgeable about everything Peru related and was able to answer all our questions about food, culture, and getting around the area. She got us inside looks into multiple spots, did not hesitate to offer to take our picture, and was all around an amazing guide. One of us being a Vegetarian with some allergies, Flor was extremely accommodating and was able to take us to only locations where they served veggie options and was able to work around any allergies we had. She even booked us a reservation at another restaurant for dinner when she heard what food we were still looking to try. We tried foods we’ve always wanted to, and some we had never even heard of and we are happier than we could’ve hoped for. I could not recommend Curious Monkey and Flor more!

We did a walking food tour with Curious Monkey during one of our acclimation days in Cusco. We were looking for someone who could guide us around and explain the local food, markets, produce. Well, we lucked out with Flor. She’s the most friendly, knowledgeable introduction to Cusco we could have hoped for. Flor took us to her favorite places and we learned so much from her. All the food was delicious. Everyone Flor interacted with at the markets just loved her too. Don’t miss out on this tour as you get used to the elevation.

Our guide Liz gave the best city food tour I’ve ever done. She introduced us (a couple plus a friend) to foods and restaurants and markets we wouldn’t otherwise have tried. She was terrifically knowledgeable, describing the difference between the many types of foods. She brought cups and utensils so we could have small samples of many different foods and know it was all clean. She even washed lots of fruit with materials from her backpack! She shared SOOO much of Cusco’s culture. And she adjusted the tour to our needs. Then we saw her later on the streets of Cusco and got a big hug! We love Liz!!

We really enjoyed our food tour with Curious Monkey! Our guide was Flor and she was awesome. She took us to a lot of places we never would have found on our own. She was very knowledgeable about everything in Cusco. We felt very well taken care of - she even carried her own plates, cups and silverware for us to use to make sure we were safe. Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Cusco.

My husband and I had a great time with our tour guide Liz. We booked a group tour but it ended up being just the two of us. Liz took us to great places we wouldn’t have otherwise known about, had tons of interesting information, and was very prepared with bowls, plates, and everything we needed to enjoy our food along the way. This was beyond amazing! The tour guides are extremely knowledgeable with the food, culture and history. They were very considerate of the pace we took since it was our 2nd day in cusco. They also provided recommendations to other locations for dinner, along with following up to let us know we could reach out if we had any questions. We did a private tour as a couple and there where 2 tour guides (Luis and Liz). They provided hand sanitizer before each selection, brought plates and cups for us to use, and also washed all the local fruit we tried. The variety of places we got to try was a perfect mix of different Peruvian foods. Highly recommend if you'd like to dive into the food culture of cusco/peru and discover the local scenery.

Our family really enjoyed the walking food tour with Corinne and Liz! We sampled a variety of great tasting food and drinks, while absorbing the info Corinne and Liz provided about the local culture. All a wonderful experience.....highly recommend!!

Corrine started the tours when she moved here a few years back and is a wonderful guide! She knows a ton about the city and culture and more importantly about the people and families that she takes you to see - you can tell she’s just in love with it all! Great food and great learning! We did this after being in the city for about 20 hours with no problems.

While on vacation in Cusco, we signed up for a Curious Monkey evening food tour -- what a fun way to experience Peruvian street food! Our guides Kacey and Liz brought our group of four to around six different food vendors. Curious Monkey has established relationships with these vendors -- they know that their foods are prepared with care. We were impresed that Kacey and Liz brought along clean plates for us to use, ensuring that we had a hygienic experience! We tried savory and sweet tamales, papas rellenas, hot cocoa and coffee from a family-owned organic producer, Peruvian churros, anticuchos (grilled skewers), chicha, and piccarones. Everything was delicious -- you will not go hungry on a Curious Monkey tour! We returned to the cocoa and coffee place again before we left Cusco to enjoy the high quality products. Thanks Kacey and Liz for a great experience!

This was a very well organised and tasty tour. Corinne, our guide, certainly knows Peruvian food, Cusco and the tradition and culture behind lots of food. We got to taste a lot of delicious food, unusual juices and drinks, fabulous fruits, sweet cakes and VERY high quality coffee and chocolate at the Cafe Richarry where I got several gifts. Corinne has developed relationships with food producers, stall holders and shop owners. She takes food hygiene very seriously and provides utensils, cups, wipes and steriliser. Highly recommended
