The tour begins when we pick you up from the hotel, when we arrive at the ranch you can see our horses walking free on our property, before starting the tour we will choose a horse according to your experience, the trip starts going directly to Puca Pucara, this fantastic fortress that is composed of large walls, terraces and stairways and was part of the defensive complex of the Inca Empire, then we will go to Tambomachay is an archaeological site that was destined for the cult of water, then we go to Qenqo It is presumed that it was one of the most important sanctuaries that were in the incanato, finally to close with a flourish our tour we headed towards the “ceremonial fortress” of Sacsayhuaman with its megalithic walls, the greatest architectural work that the Incas performed during their apogee. From the fortress there is a panoramic view of the surroundings, then we will return to the transfer that will be waiting for us to return to your hotel.

Great Horses and Guides

We had a beautiful day exploring the hills and ruins above Gabriels Ranch on horseback. My wife has an extensive riding background and was impressed with the way his horses were cared for and our daughters (ages 9 and 12) felt very comfortable and safe with the ones he chose for them. As an added bonus, he was super knowledgeable about the archeological sites we visited. Thanks again!

Best way to see incan ruins!!

This is the first time we are on horseback, and the guide was great in helping us select more gentle horses. Our horses are all very sweet and gentle, and we rode at a comfortable pace to see the Incan ruins. We feel much more confident on horseback at the end of the day, and we were sorry to leave the horses behind!! Very much recommended, must do in Cusco.
