We had a fabulous time on this tour. We toured historical sites, went into a cave, rode a path through the mountains and everyone had a great time despite varying horseback experience (including some with none). Don’t hesitate to do this tour!

This is a fantastic experience, especially for those seeking something less "touristy". Gabriel is an amazing guide and speaks perfect English. I was the only person on the tour for the afternoon I went, and Gabriel was still super thorough and patient and did not skip anything. The horses are beautiful, tall, clean, well-groomed. You can tell Gabriel's family really loves and cares for them. I highly recommend this tour to enjoy some relaxing time and get to know the local communities better.

I do not have enough words to describe how incredible this experience was! Gabriel was such a kind and informative guide. He picked my friend and I up from our hostel, gave us snacks and told us the most fascinating stories about all the places we visited. It’s obvious that the horses are so loved and the ranch is like one big family. The temple of the moon was magical and riding through the Chacan mountains was truly the highlight of our trip! Can’t recommend this enough, it’s a must for a trip to Cusco!

I cannot say enough about how incredible this experience was. Gabriel (the owner of the ranch) picked us up himself, provided us with snacks for our journey and made sure we were comfortable and safe the entire time. My friend and I dreamed of horseback riding and to have the first time be in the Chaca Mountains and along the Temple of the Moon was unforgettable. The horses were happy, sweet and very well trained. Gabriel spoke perfect English and shared many interesting stories with us about the lands. To say the very least, this experience was truly MAGICAL. If you are in Cusco, you must visit Gabriel’s ranch.

This activity was a lovely addition to our trip to Cusco. Gabriel guided us amazingly throughout the ride and was happy to answer any questions we had about the Inca culture and horses. You could tell Gabriel really loves his horses and that they were well looked after. The horses were very well behaved, knowing exactly what to do and where to go, so this activity is great for beginners as well as those who have ridden before.

We had a beautiful experience. Gabriel is a great guide and has well trained horses. This was one of the most fun things we’ve done in our time in Cusco!

We loved this tour! Gabriel communicated with us prior to the tour and he let us make a change due to the expected rain. He picked us up right on time and was very friendly. The tour exceeded our expectations. It was magical! Gabriel was very knowledgeable and awesome with the horses….you could tell he loved them and they were well taken care of. This was a highlight of our trip! Gabriel was so knowledgeable about the history and culture of the Quechua people. The horses were so well cared for and gentle. Get up close to these ancient sites was amazing! We had stunning weather which made it even more amazing

So I booked a group tour and it actually ended up being private 1:1 with Gabriel as the others initially supposed to join were unwell! Had a lovely few hours soaking in the beautiful landscape around us and history from Gabriel. The horses were very well cared for and it was clear that Gabriel had an immense passion for his job and the ranch. Little snack bag was delicious too, I even had leftovers to bring back :)

The trip with Gabriel was absolutely amazing! He was very knowledgeable about the area, culture, and of course, the horses. I had so much fun riding the Peruvian Paso horse with its signature gait. I would definitely recommend only to go with Gabriel his tours. (We passed a different tour operator where I saw clearly unexperienced riders led in a group by a guide on foot, which can be very dangerous if a horse suddenly spooks and bolts.) The horse I was on, Apu, was super well trained and listened perfectly. All their horses are very well taken care of and roam freely when they are not on a tour. The stops along the way, the temple and the cave were interesting and made for a good culture lesson. 10/10! Shullpaiki Gabriel!

What a fun tour! I went on my honeymoon with my husband to peru for 11 days with tons of tours scheduled and this was the best tour! I have 20 years horseback riding experience, my husband had 0. Gabriel accommodated both of us allowing us to travel at comfortable speeds even in a group setting. He was very knowledgeable about the ancient sites we visited and clearly passionate about the history and culture. His ranch was impressive and the horses were all so friendly but definitely excited to get on the trail and get moving, which we loved because that was the energy we brought. 10/10 to Gabriel, his assistant, and the horses!

Very well organized and great tour guide. Had a small group of four people which was great. I would recommend to others for sure.
