      A great adventurous journey!
If you would love to explore the surroundings of Machu Picchu but you're worried the 4 day hike might be too hard for you, this is the perfect option. We had a great time, beginning with the convenient and comfortable communication with our guide Manuel who supported us to organize the transport to the start of the treck and the hike itself was a unique experience that we don't want to miss. The hike itself rewarded us with the perfect first view on Machu Picchu on day one and we had the whole second day to explore the whole side more in detail. Accomodation, Food, Transport and a great guide is included in the price. Thanks to Manuel it was an great adventureous journey - thanks for that.

      Do not use.
I booked a hike to Machu Picchu using this company, although Machu Picchu and the hike itself were great, everything about this company was bad. The itinerary/information on the website is all incorrect. We started and ended the days in different places, the communication was awful (many emails and messages sent asking for information that were ignored), the activities weren't detailed correctly so I didn't have the correct gear and missed out on activities, and compared to everyone else on my hike (who did the exact same hike) this was so expensive (some people paid a quarter of what I paid and their activities were included- I had to pay extra for any activities I wanted to do). So I would say absolutely look elsewhere. I would never use this company again.

Great Destination less than great guide
10 hour tour for 2 hours at rainbow mountain. We spent at least an hour at 630a collecting people in cusco. Luis our guide would spend 5 minutes explaining something in Spanish then one sentence in English. The destination was worthwhile BUT the way there could have been much more informative and interesting. We got nothing about the local people, the countryside etc. The lunch was mediocre at best. And very late at 3p Go to rainbow mountain but try a different tour!! It wasn’t even worth the 50% discount

      Way too long
Very pretty lake but so not worth the trek. Thank god there was a horse but just half way up. At 80 sols. Acclimate! I was only in Cusco for a day and just a little bit of walking left me breathless. It was awful! It you are not acclimated I recommend planning the trip a few days after being in Cusco. Find another city tour or something light the first few days. There was a giant swing and zip lining. Very cute if you’ve never done that. But walking up to the area sucked due to the altitude and lack of oxygen. They offered a late lunch which was very good. A delicious soup that helped with the cold, and a chicken dish. It felt amazing after the long day. The bus driver drives crazy but it’s very common around here or even Europe as well. So used to it but some people may get scared.

      Humantay Lake
We did the tour to the Humantay Lake. We booked it directly at the office in Cusco one day before. We weren't directly picked up by the hotel but we agreed a meeting point. The driver was very puncutal. Also the drop off was not at the hotel but at San Francisco Square. The tour itself was good. The Humantay Lake was amazing and we were very lucky with the weather. Unfortunately we were not informed that we were booked on a Spanish tour. Our guide was supried too but he did its best to translate the important details to us. Nevertheless an English tour would have been better. Our guide took good care of us. We could walk our own pace up- and downhill. We just met for some information and a group photo at the lake. But the restwe were basically on our own. We also had enough time at the lake to enjoy it. Our driver seemed to drive very fast some times. As as streets were often very narrow and it was very steep on the side. I was a bit scared sometimes. But it was worth it.

Informative & nice introduction to cusco
The tour itself is good. The guide knows the city & the site well. All transportation from & to the hotel was smooth & safe. The guide was making head count behind the scene when we are changing the location. Many people are divided into Spanish & English group, so each group is made up of around 10 persons. One thing you should be informed of that is if you reserve the program through here, you need to pay all entrance fee, while all others are provided by the guide. If you are not aware of this, this experience would significantly hurt the impression in the beginning. If you doesn’t want to do this, go to Machupichu nice website or its office and reserve the full tour covering the entrance fee. This is why the price is exceptionally low compared with others.

      BEWARE-THIS IS A RIP-Off
We signed up for 2 of us to take this tour. We received a voucher for the tour but nothing else. After a lot of walking we were told we would have to pay some entrance fees amounting to $60-70 extra. We had not seen anything to advise us of the extra fees so I spoke with the manager and he said he would refund our fees. To date we have received NOTHING. Do not recommend.

      Very Informative!!
A little slow getting started, being "picked up from your hotel" means someone comes to get you and you walk to a couple different meeting spots before starting the actual tour. Marco was our guide and he was WONDERFUL. Very knowledgeable and answered questions thoroughly. We had a young girl get sick on our van and he was so kind and sweet with her. He used some natural remedies that helped a little (so we learned about coca and muno) and really focused on the poor family. The rest of us were really understanding, felt bad for the child. But again - his kindness to strangers will always be remembered. The tour itself was great - you can get your tickets for the sites at the 1st site so don't worry about that. Definitely worth the money!

      Amazing service
Last week I was in Cusco for the 6th time and I got a few tours with Machupicchu Nice. This is the 5th time I do business with this company. I have been dealing with Willy since day one because I feel he has been such a great help and has made my trips wonderful. 2 years ago Willy organized a trip for me and 11 of my friends for the Salkantay Trek and I have to say It was amazing, from the food, to the tour guide, camping set up we had a blast. Willy's expertise and honesty have made him my #1 and only contact when in Cusco. I know I am in great hands and that I will get the best customer service A tourist can ask for. I have been recommending Machupicchu Nice to all friends and family whom have been planning on going to Cusco and everyone has had a great experience. I'll definitely do business with Machupicchu Nice again and HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

      Best personalized tour ever
Reserved tour with Willy 2 months ago, everything was setup, unfortunately trains to Machu Picchu were on strike. When we arrived, Willy rescheduled everything accordingly, without requesting additional compensation for the booked hotels that didn't refund Willy anything. All around I heard that people who booked tours to Machu Picchu lost their money. Very professional operator. Truth is, Willy was recommended to us by a friend, who was positively impressed by Willy. Would highly recommend Willy.

      Inca Jungle-Saw Everything!
Our family of four adults spent 4 days with Jhimmy as our guide throughout the inca Jungle Trek. While most of the treks are similar, Jhimmy was able to offer personal knowledge of the area that made the trip more complete. Also terrific organization throughout the 4-day trek. Don't expect luxury. We stayed in small hostels and hotels, but everything was clean and safe. The only reason this is 4 stars is due to the uneven communications leading up to the trip by the agency office. For instance in the mornings, Jhimmy arranged to have the majority of our daypack items transported by car or train to our evening location for a small fee. Also we would have packed a little differently because the weather was way hotter that what they told us in advance. (while I know weather prediction can be iffy, it never really gets too cold during his trek). It would have been better to know the information of gear transport and weather beforehand which would have changed the way we packed. However we recommend this company and our guide Jhimmy...just be sure to ask questions in advance. Tip: Always let Jhimmy take pictures. He knows the best spots along the trip.

They forgot to pick us up at our hotel, we called them and had to take a taxi to them. When we arrived at the bus there was another twosome that had been forgotten as well. The trip to the river was over 2 hours- due to bridge construction- not their issue. once we got there we also did zipline- very small but fun. The rafting was very good- however we went in August 2018 and it was not the rainy season. half way into the rafting we had to pull over and hike over rocks and boulders for about 50 yards- not far you say- try it. had it not been for another rafter I would not have made it. The guides did not walk it with us or tell us a good way around. other than that- which was a big deal, I wasn't the only person struggling to make it. the actual rafting was fun and the views were awesome. The ride home was again quite long but oh well. It states you will be dropped at your hotel- nope! They said they were going to drop everyone at the square because it's centrally located due to traffic-There is always traffic in the evenings. Great we thought, our hotel was on the square. They didn't drop as at the square, they dropped us at the bottom of the long hill, 1.5 miles from the square. Not fun after a long day. I recommend rafting, just not sure this is the group to raft with. We also paid for the rafting pictures they took and still haven't received them.

They have a quick zip line segment I could have done without but the rafting was great. We went in the winter months so the water was cold (wetsuits) but the views were spectacular. There’s a spot where you can jump in. Really a fun experience. I started to wear down due to altitude right at the end so the distance is perfect.

Side note: TripAdvisor’s overview says the river runs past Machu Picchu, which is true, but this segment of the river is towards Puno so you can’t see the ruins.
