          Unique experience
I had an amazing trip to the bridge and cave with our wonderful guide Juan Carlos and our driver Milton. We had a great time at the bridge and cave. Juan Carlos is extremely friendly and very helpful. The bridge was the first stop and we were told all the stories that comes with the last Inca bridge. It is right over top of some amazing views. He included us in his traditional ceremony before our decent into the cave. The walk to the cave was about 10 minutes and we were provided with all gear. He made sure that we were comfortable with going through the cave and prioritized safety at all times. I would truly recommend the company and Juan Carlos as a guide. Also he takes really great pictures which is a plus. Milton made sure we were safe in the vehicle and helped us with our bags and safely navigated the crazy roads. Both guys really put in a lot of effort to make our experience great. I have already spread the word to fellow travelers and some locals who now are interested as they never heard of this tour. And I hope more people go on this tour as it is one in a lifetime experience.

Juan Carlos did such an amazing job as our tour guide for this hike! Born and raised in Cusco, he was super knowledgeable of the hike, the Incan traditions, the elevation, everything! I highly recommend!

Amazing Experience with an Excellent Guide!
This hike was an unforgettable experience and our guide Juan Carlos made it even better. From encouraging us along the way to teaching us the history of the lake and area once we reached the top, he made the day trip absolutely worth it.

Machu Picchu & Huayna Picchu - The best tour we have ever experienced!
One of the most amazing experiences we have ever had. Our tour guide Yaritza was top notch from contacting us the day before to arranging everything ahead of time. Shuttle to train, train tickets, bus tickets and entrance to Machu Picchu. First class all the way bypassing any long line ups. She really knows her stuff regarding the Inca history and was very patient while doing the Huayna Picchu hike and even encouraged me to take little breaks to get my breath. I can’t say enough about her, she was like having a good friend along with us for this tour! Highly recommended taking this tour and hopefully you could get Yaritza as your guide as well.

Women's Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu. Highly recommend!
As a solo female traveller, I can't say enough about the team at Crossover Peru and 57 Hours. They were amazing! They made the planning effortless and ensured a seamless experience from start to finish. Our guide, Luz, was fabulous. She was very knowledgeable, kind and quick to encourage us and to celebrate our achievements. This trek not only included beautiful hiking and panoramic vistas, but also gave us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the culture; from participating in farming activities in a local community to roasting coffee at a plantation in the high jungle. Throughout the trek, our guide, Luz, was there to support us, answer questions and share her knowledge of the local communities and environments. The accommodations were superb and I don't think I have ever eaten so well on a trek. If I could give the trip six stars, I would. Highly recommend!

          Moderately Challenging Hike, Gorgeous Views
The dark turquoise color of the lake with the glacier overhanging it, made for a one of a kind view. As I was still adjusting to the altitude, I did need to stop and catch my breath quite a few times, but I enjoyed the chance to push myself. It was well worth it in the end.

          Amazing!
Had an absolute incredible experience. The weather was perfect which made for excellent photos. Judy was my tour guide, and I could not recommend her more. I experienced some troubles with the altitude coming from Florida, and Judy was encouraging and patient. She knew a lot about the area and all the best photo spots.

Outstanding Machu Picchu Guide - A Must for an Enriching Experience
I had the pleasure of having Judith Pariguana as our guide during our visit to Machu Picchu, and she was exceptional. Her knowledge of the history, culture, and significance of the site was remarkable, and she brought the ancient city to life with her storytelling. Judith’s passion for sharing the history and beauty of Machu Picchu made the experience unforgettable. She was also incredibly attentive to our group’s needs, ensuring everyone felt engaged and comfortable throughout the tour. I highly recommend Judith as a guide for anyone looking to have a truly immersive and enriching experience at Machu Picchu.

          Brilliant shanty town tour
This was absolutely one of the best day tours I've ever experienced. Our guide, Roland, was an outstanding companion and conversationalist, and a wealth of information about the areas we visited. We walked through a great local market, where we bought some food, which we brought to the home of a lovely woman and her young son. Not only was it touching and fascinating to learn about her life, but I was pleased that the company brought her groceries and approached the visit in a respectful manner. If you want to better understand a neighborhood that is rarely seen by tourists, you should definitely take this tour.

          Thank you Crossover Peru
This was my first solo hiking tour and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. It's difficult to put into words how incredible this journey was for me and I have Crossover Peru to thank for that. Our guide, Yaritza, shared her love and knowledge of Cusco, Peru, and the Inca Trail with us every step of the way. She prepared us, walked with us and laughed with us and I miss her as much as the other wonderful women I had the pleasure of sharing this experience with. The real heroes of the trail were our porters and chef. Damian's team of porters were amazing as they ran by us carrying everything we needed to eat and camp for 4 days, cheered when we made it to our campsite each day and then woke us each morning with a cup of hot tea. I hadn't put a lot of thought into what we would be eating on the trail but to my surprise the food and variety was over the top. Our chef, Carmelo, is a master in creating delicious food and the presentation made us ooh and aah at every meal. Thank you to everyone at Crossover Peru for a wonderful experience.

Amazing!! Yaritza, (Yaya) was the best!!! This trip was beyond expectations! ❤️
Our trail guide, Yaritza was amazing!!!! I couldn’t imagine not having her with us. The train was derailed when we finished the trail and she was able to get us back to Cusco safely. The trail was amazing, the food was way better than advertised, our Chef was Carmelo! I would highly recommend.

I can't recommend Crossover Peru enough. This company is not only incredibly socially responsible, they also created a once in a lifetime experience. Our guide Yaritza, is one of the most inspirational women I have ever met. She went above and beyond to make sure each person was protected, while also making sure the entire group had an amazing time. She was incredibly compassionate as we made our challenging journey. Our second guide Luz worked fantastically with Yaritza, making sure our large group of 11 people stayed in sync. Meals were a complete surprise. The chef Gregorio created unbelievable meals and was incredibly accommodating of food sensitivities, even those that were discovered during the trip. Also, Aaron's team of porters were complete professionals. Our tents were comfortably set up each night, and the guys managed the equipment transfer between sites totally seamlessly. Don't hesitate, this trip is totally worth it, if your body is up for the challenge!

I can't even begin to describe this incredible adventure. It was the absolute best because of our guide Yaritza and the support from Crossover Peru! Please use them and you won't regret it! The business actually cared that one of us got sick and made sure we were all able to reach our goal. The views were absolutely breathtaking and I appreciated Yaritza encouraging us to enjoy the "journey" to Machu Picchu and not just the end goal. The chef, Gregorio, was incredible and Aaron was our Lead Porter. They have the hardest and most important jobs and we felt like family by the end of our trek.
This trip was life-changing. There were 5 of us from Missouri and then 6 other women that we met from Nashville and Wisconsin. They were all adventure-minded women and we bonded quickly over our time together. The encouragement and support from this group will not be forgotten and we now have new life-long friends. Thank you, Yaritza and our second guide, Luz, for everything!

What an amazing adventure! Every detail was planned out for us including transportation, and hotel accommodations, which made traveling abroad feel so safe and easy. High quality camping gear including set up each night by the amazing porters led by Aaron made it so easy to relax after hiking.
Three delicious meals a day and snacks for the trail greatly surpassed expectations. The food is 5 star, plentiful and healthy cooked by Chef Gregorio. My group was so impressed by his skills and accommodations for diet restrictions.
Our tour guide Yaritza is so wonderful at this role. She brought a group of 11 women together to motivate and support them for this journey, and we all left as family. She ensures each person is comfortable and that all their needs are met. Our other tour guide Luz was very kind and supportive. They are both very experienced, knowledgable, and easygoing making this trek such a rich and fun adventure . I learned so much about Peruvian culture, the Inca, and about the flora and fauna and animals along the trail. After many laughs wonderful memories, I was sad our time had to come to an end. I highly recommend this tour. There is no better way to hike the Inka trail into Machu Picchu.

Our tour with Crossover Peru was incredible. First off, our guide Yaritza was FANTASTIC. She was so knowledgeable and kept us well informed. She taught me so much and was so encouraging when the trail got really difficult. She was so patient! She is so warm, funny, and just an amazing person and tour guide. Luz, her assistant, was also fantastic! She was so fun, sweet, and also very encouraging and patient. Gregorio was the chef and his food was incredible. I couldn’t believe what we were eating on the side of the mountain. He even baked a cake on the last night! Aaron was the head porter and he and the team of porters were all amazing. They clapped for us as we came into camp but we should have been clapping for them! They are the hardest working group EVER. It was such a fantastic experience and we felt so safe and cared for. Every detail was taken care of. The 2 days leading up to the trail was really great. It helped to acclimate to the altitude and learn about the wonderful Peruvian people. I really can’t recommend Crossover Peru enough!

My porters were the best! Chef Mauro even baked a cake on the trail somehow. It was delicious! Aron was an excellent head porter and Juan Carlos was the best guide I could have hoped for. The whole team worked their asses off, and they were smiling and happy the entire time. I really appreciate everything these guys did to take care of my group and me.

One of the best tours I’ve ever been on. Our tour guide Kevin was knowledgeable, funny and a great time. He took the time to make sure the entire group was having fun while also teaching us about the history of the Incas. Food was also fantastic- you can tell a lot of thought went into it.

Crossover Peru is a wonderful tour operator. They organized our Inca trail hike and visit the following day to Machu Picchu for a historical tour. Juan Carlos was our mountain guide for the hike on the Inca Trail. Roland gave us a historical tour the following day of Machu Picchu itself. The staff were friendly, organized, responsible, and extremely knowledgeable of Incan history. I always felt safe and could just relax and focus on the vacation. The staff spoke fluent English and Spanish. Perfect tour operator for a group of English-speaking tourists that speak limited Spanish.
