A good choice, it made the whole Machu Pichu experience easy
This tour has many good reviews. This is another one. Great support/prep info from the company by WhatsApp. Michael and Luis were both fantastic and entertaining guides, well read and knowledgeable. Thank you! The morning starts are early, but worth it to get the good views etc. There are the usual "cultural exhibition/shopping" stops o Day 1, but you do not have to buy anything if your conscience operates that way... We bought 5 alpaca wool toques. There is a fair amount of climbing on each day. Consider getting an altitude sickness prophylaxis prescription to make it easier on you if you do not have 48 hours to acclimatize in Cusco before the tour - it's no joke, even for the youngs. Small group size was nice. The microbus was very clean. If you can swing it, go for the panorama view train option. Pack light. The hotel choice at Aguas Calientes is perfectly acceptable for the amount you are paying - a clean room, good location, sounds of the small river easing you to sleep, and baggage storage for the day of your tour. Bring good complete sun coverage or be prepared to apply a lot of lotion unless you are restricted to going during the wet season. And bug repellant - if you get a message to bring some, do not ignore it. Or your ankles/wrists during application. And bring your best camera (phone or dedicated) to do Machu Pichu justice when you are showing the folks at home. This combination of Sacred Valley and MP was worth every penny.

An in depth guided tour of the ancient Peruvian history.
Paul was an amazing tour guide! He gave us a lot of information about ancient Peruvian history! It was really interesting to see and hear how the Inca people survived the Spanish raiding. This has by far been the best guided tour here in Peru and we have had a few of them! The attention to detail in his explanations and the in depth answers to our questions were really appreciated. We couldn’t catch him off guard once he had all his facts straight. And beyond the amazing story telling and information given, he was very polite, curious, generous and kind, he could set a lead example of a tour guide.

An adventure is even better with an excellent guide.
This was an incredible experience. Our tour guide Gary Garcia was so knowledgeable about the history of the Incas and it felt like his personal connection to the stories of his ancestors came through in his enthusiasm and energy. There were so many places we saw and so many little details Gary pointed out at so many points throughout the trip that made it feel like an informed adventure. Personally, I learnt a lot about the history of the Inca people - some good, some sad, but all true and fascinating. We took Circuit 2 when visiting Machu Picchu and this felt like the best one to go on. We took tons of photos because the views were absolutely divine. Even the view from our hotel in Aguas Caliente was gorgeous. We met locals, fed Alpacas, saw Condors, learnt about the culture of the people and tried Guinea Pig for the first time. It was an incredible experience and Gary was calm, patient and guided us through the whole thing with vigor. He gave us very clear instructions at every point and since we traveled in a small group (5 people), things never got too crowded or uncomfortable. Gary was also very attentive to the needs of the group and made sure we were having a good time at every step of the way. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this service and encourage anyone who wants to see Machu Picchu to explore it on this guided tour. I learnt a lot I didn't know before and feel glad I had this experience.

          FANTASTIC!!! 5 STARS!!!
ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!! The views and sites are breathtaking. The itinerary is perfect and gives you time to wander, rest and soak it all in. Gary, our tour guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the rich history which made learning the history fun and engaging. He always made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. Gary took us to all the must-see spots and views for photos and memories, he takes great photos and videos which made it extra special for me and my husband (this is our honeymoon). All the transfers were smooth and easy and Gary gave great instructions and tips which made for a comfortable and great time. The stops on the tour are magical, I highly recommend.

Sacred Valley and Macho Picchu Tour
I had a great experience on this tour. Our guide, Michael, was very knowledgeable and showed a lot of passion for the area. I was clear he was someone not just reading off talking points but someone who is actually invested in the community.

          Best Experience Ever
This trip was amazing but our tour guide made it 10 times the experience. We learned some much history and our tour guide Micheal Flores was full of knowledge and fun to hangout with. He even took us to places not included on the itinerary. This journey was worth every penny!

          Best guided tour ever!
This was by far, the best tour guided trip I have had to date. Our guide Michael was phenomenal and has so much passion for his job, it really showed. We got to see the Sacred Valley and venture to Machu Picchu, which the views were magical to say the least. I have completed several guided tours in the past, even a couple within the last week, and I can say do not miss out on this experience!!!! I will absolutely be visiting beautiful Peru again in the future.

          Strong showing
Great experience. Specifically liked our tour guide Michael, who was very no-BS (no vague references to deities) about his explanations while also keeping the atmosphere fun & jovial. My only note is that there was some confusion between myself and another person in another group. This underscored some disorganization at the agency, so I would strongly recommend you double check everything the day before via WhatsApp, where they are quite active

          They got you!
I did my tour with this company last week and I can’t say enough good things about them. They were on time to pick us up from Cusco in a comfortable car. They were able to communicate effectively and move us around in an organized way even in the chaotic environment (lots of tourists). We had two tour guides for the two circuits we did and they were incredibly kind and had so much knowledge about Machu Picchu. I totally recommend them if you want to have a no-worries trip.

          Save yourselves the planning
We were looking to have our guide Luis who was very knowledgeable about the sites, structures, culture of Machu Picchu. Also he didn’t sound like an encyclopedia spewing information but more of a conversation and sparked further curiosity. We got lucky to book a circuit two weeks prior to our trip. The ministry of culture in Peru has limited the access around certain parts of Machu Pichu. We did circuit 1 which has the option of hiking to what I like to call “el mirardor” (Intipunku) of Machu Picchu. Its marvelous trail, we saw llamas. Then after came back down and had a closer look of Machu Picchu with the famous panoramic photo. But never actually walked through it. To walk through it u need to do circuit 2 or 3. The preferred one is 2. Also the commute was flawless. I chose this package because after looking at all the logistics it saved me the headache lol.

Luis is the most knowledgeable caring guide. He knows the history of this place and will go out of his way to make sure you are taken care of. If anyone dares claim otherwise they’re liars. I will fight for this man with my dying breath.

Our day trip to Maras, Moray, and the Salt Flats was a fantastic venture that gave us a profound insight into the beautiful landscapes and rich culture of the Cusco region. The communication with the tour company was impeccable, ensuring a prompt pickup from our hotel. Our group was intimate, just us and our guide, providing a very personal experience.

We began our tour at the archaeological park in Chinchero, followed by a visit to the local community known for their alpaca wool textiles. Witnessing the craftsmanship of the local artisans was a unique and enlightening experience. We then moved on to the breathtaking archaeological sites of Maras and Moray. Each location offered spectacular views, and the scenic drives between sites were equally captivating.

Our guide was enthusiastic, engaging, and extremely knowledgeable, enriching our understanding of each site we visited. He also proved to be an excellent photographer, capturing numerous beautiful photos throughout the day. Tasting local specialties at the markets we passed added an authentic flavor to our experience.

Many Sacred Valley tours include Chinchero, Maras, and Moray, but given the vast array of attractions the area has to offer, I recommend booking this tour in addition to a standard Sacred Valley tour. This allows for more dedicated time at each site, avoiding a rushed experience and enabling a deeper engagement with the locations rather than brief stops for photos. This tour was a perfect complement to our broader exploration of the Sacred Valley, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in each site’s unique aspects. Highly recommended for those looking to explore beyond the typical tourist path and gain a deeper understanding of the region's heritage.

This tour has been one of my favorite parts of our Peru trip so far! Our driver, Roman, kept us safe and got us to our destinations promptly despite a few road closures. Gary, our guide, was SO informative, best guide I’ve met. His Inca history stories and interactive demonstrations made the day 100X more interesting than you’d already expect. Groups are 2-3 parties max.

It cost 80 soles (equals US $20) entrance fee total for both sites in addition to trip fee. You should also be prepared for the brief stop at a weaving demonstration, after which the demonstrators hope you may buy their products as is common in Peru. Gary reminded us that this is very optional. Loved the demonstration so I personally chose to tip a few soles. All was so worth it, and I don’t splurge on tours!

This tour is only a half day but the tour guide does a great job explaining the history of these sacred places and how they were built. Very interesting to learn more about the Inka culture. My hotel was located on an inaccessible street but the tour guide parked the van down the street and came to the front door of our hotel to get us!

Would recommend if you want to do a shorter tour!

Fantastic tour led by Bernando! Pickup was right on time, and Bernando was friendly and informative. His English was excellent. He answered our many questions and even provided additional information on other sites not within the tour. The car was comfortable, and the driver (Fredi) managed the narrow and winding roads with ease. Overall, a great tour that I would highly recommend.

We opted for the private tour and it was worth it. We were on a bigger tour with another company and had a free day in Cusco so we found this trip and it was great. The tour guide spoke good English and told us a lot about the history of the Inca and the area, It was great how he would put out his opinion and then back it up of why he believes that is how it was. He answered question not only of the area but also about Peru and history of the Inca that was not being covered on the other tour. We were not rushed and had plenty of time to see the area. He asked up front what we did and say so that he didn't repeat what we already heard which was very refreshing as it was not a canned speech. We had plenty of time for pictures and he did a great job of taking pictures of us. I have a Nikon and most tour guide can't use it as all they ever use is a phone camera I didn't have to explain anything to him and he took great pictures. We asked him to take a picture of us and he said not yet walk over there and we did they he took it and when I got back to the room and looked at them WOW!!! they were great. Defiantly recommend this company. We were so happy we took this private tour.

Our team Juanito and Franklin were superb. Juanito is full of k knowledge about the area and easy to listen to. He is very patient with questions. The sites were interesting but once you've seen one pile of rocks you've seen them all but having a good guide with lots of info brings them to life. Highly recommended.

Roman (driver) and Bernardo (guide) are super friendly and kind. We had a comfortable ride to a textile shop in Chinchero, followed by Maras, and finally Moray. Bernardo was a knowledgeable guide and shared many stories and historical facts from Peru's history. If you're interested in history and want a casual tour, I highly recommend this tour!

This was great. It was brief at a half day, and the perfect way to spend a day between Rainbow Mountain (which was exhausting) and Machu Picchu. But the salt mines were really stunning and fascinating, and Moray was a must-visit (I didn’t expect it to be). Our guide, Fabrizio, was also excellent - funny and knowledgable. I found the woman doing the instruction about Peruvian clothes weaving to do a bit of a hard sell, which I didn’t like, but otherwise it was very good.
