Sacred Valley & Cusco & Machu Pichu
We had an awesome week in Peru with Juan. We learned so much about the culture that we wouldn’t have been able to without him. And he is funny. He had all of our excursions perfectly planned, he avoided big crowds and long lines where we could. Our driver always had bottled water for us. It was awesome!

Best Honeymoon in Lima and Cusco!
We had the best honeymoon imaginable because of Juan! From the first greeting, he made us feel like friends. He helped us adjust to the altitude, and knows every in and out about Peru travel. We loved every minute of our trip! Because of Amazing Andean Adventures, we left with awe and respect for the Peruvian people. The highlight was Machu Pichu and hearing about Incan architecture and history. We did a private tour and it was very much worth it! Highly recommend Peru and even more recommend Amazing Andean Adventures!

          Memorable
Our tour guide Danny was extremely knowledgeable, very pleasant and we enjoyed thoroughly. Terri was the organizer and she was professional, gave us all the relevant information and followed up about the trip arrangements at every step. The only drawback was the accommodation provided at Aguas Calientes which was not good.

          Dream Trip of a Lifetime
Truly the trip of a lifetime. We asked Juan for a once-in-a-lifetime, first-class experience and that is exactly what he delivered. Every detail was perfect. We were accompanied by our amazing guide Danny. His love and knowledge of the Inca people, history and culture was amazing. Our driver Raul navigated expertly in his spotless, comfortable van. Every hotel was luxurious. We enjoyed the Peruvian food and a Pisco Sour to finish off our days. Taking the Hiram Bingham luxury train to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu, was awesome. Juan and his team truly made our Machu Picchu adventure a dream come true!

          Trip of a lifetime!
This was a trip of a lifetime for my friends and I. Every detail was carefully planned and arranged by Juan to get the most of each experience. From transportation to hotels we truly felt at ease with each travel step. Hotels were 5 star and food was delicious. Our driver, Raul, was very skilled in the Peruvian ways of the road. We felt safe in his clean and comfortable van. Danny, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable about the Incan and Spanish culture and taught us so much about the way of life centuries ago. He really could take you back to the time of the grandeur of the Incan Empire. He also taught us about Pachamama, Earth Mother, and she indeed smiled down upon us on this trip.

          Juan is the best!
Juan was our tour guide and he is the absolute best. He answered every one of our questions and was deeply knowledgeable. Taking this tour early in our trip was a fantastic idea because it gave us a lot of knowledge for the remainder of the trip. I would recommend Juan to everyone!

          Amazing tour experience!
Incredible tour of Cusco, Sacred Valley and Macchu Picchu. Juan, our guide, was reliable, knowledgeable and so fun to be around. He really made the touring interesting for our entire family which includes two teen boys. We were so glad to have gone with Amazing Andean Adventures and highly recommend them to anyone. They were also very flexible with changes we needed for our itinerary and helped us every step of the way.

          Great Experience!
We booked this tour last-second(within 48 hours) for better history and explanation of what we were seeing. The guys at Andean Adventures met us the night before to get our bus tickets ahead of time and explain everything. The tour itself was great! Our Guide was very helpful and explained a lot of things that we would never have know about Machu Pichu if we hadn't gotten a guide or watched a documentary. Definitely recommend getting a tour guide!

          Excellent Peru Experience!
My husband and I had an amazing adventure in Peru and attribute much of the trip’s success to our guide, Ruben Aguirre. Accommodations in Lima, Cusco, and Puno were great choices. Travel among the areas was orchestrated perfectly, maximizing a stress free experience. Ruben was an excellent organizer and maintained a necessary rigid schedule kindly and pleasantly. In fact he was delightful and introduced us to local foods and treats as he taught us about his culture. The Machu Picchu experience was extraordinary and not easy. Ruben’s encouragement was integral to the successful climb and his information critical to the appreciation of the experience. Thank you and thank you Ruben!

Machu Pichu and the essence of Peru.
Our trip exceeded our expectations. Ruben made us feel as if we were the most important people on the trip. The views were phonaminal and we didn't feel rushed. The background information made our understanding deeper. You could tell he knew and loved this country. Our experiences covered so many different areas. The food, the people, the beauty were explained and shown so fully. He brought us to places where we met real artists and artisans. We found beautiful pieces we are proud to display. Several were his work. We would gladly go again.

          Machu Picchu Tour was Incredible!
The Machu Picchu tour was a dream come true! The whole experience was seamless, from the well-organized itinerary to the passionate guides who made history come alive. Machu Picchu itself was like stepping into another world, with ancient ruins against stunning landscapes. The focus on preserving the site and being eco-friendly was great to see. From the trail to the Sun Gate, every moment was awe-inspiring. If you're up for a unique adventure that's a perfect mix of culture and nature, I highly recommend this tour. It's something I'll cherish forever!

Truly amazing Andean Adventure Special private tour to Cusco, Machu Pichu, Sacred Valley and Lima
My 18 yo daughter and I traveled with Carlos and a driver throughout the Sacred Valley in June 2022. We were nervous about doing a private tour but from the minute he met us at the Cusco airport we felt safe and comfortable. Carlos got to know our needs, interests and concerns within the first hour. He was very knowledgeable about the culture, sites, history, and made excellent recommendations for our vegetarian diets. Juan recommended the special Tour in lieu of the Luxury tour and we were not disappointed. All of our accommodations were more luxurious than we expected or needed. Carlos helped us avoid crowds and lines and made sure we got excellent photos. I cannot say enough about what a perfect trip this was. My only recommendation is to be aware of the physical demands in the sacred valley prior to going. I would love to take another trip with Amazing Andean Adventures.

          A trip customized for us
Our tour was made especially for us . We were a group of 3 who wanted to see Arequipa and Machu Picchu and everything in between within 10 days. The guides were so knowledgeable and friendly and showed us places we didn’t know existed. And the drivers were amazing!! I can’t wait to go back and I will for sure reach out to AAA

We did a one day private Sacred Valley tour, covering Ollantytambo ruins, Maras salt mines, Moray, and Chinchero. Danny was a great tour guide. He not only explained the locations we stopped at, but also clarified a lot of Incan history for us. It was clear that he is passionate about his culture and the history of his people, which made the experience even more special for us. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

Danny was an excellent tour guide, providing rich information on the history of the area and Incas. Freddy was a great driver.
The tour and ride was easy going and comfortable. Danny spoke great English and was patient when I practiced Spanish. You could tell he has a deep appreciation and love for his history and culture. That made the trip all the more impressive when we got to the different sights. He really wanted us to experience the culture and made sure we got to try Chicha on our tour (muy delicioso, by the way!).
        Yes, I recommend this tour.

We were so much in awe throughout this tour! Our guide was excellent and was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the Incas. She explained in detail about each of the stops we visited. We loved seeing how the alpaca wool is cleaned, dyed and woven. The Salt Mines were amazing! Very interesting hearing about the salt mines, how the salt is harvested and what each layer of salt is used for. We were able to see someone harvesting the salt. Or main goal when visiting Peru was to see Machu Picchu, but this tour and others in the area of Cusco are all a definite must-see! We saw and did so much more on this trip than we expected.

Thank you for your kind words, we appreciate you taking the time to write a review. Our guides are passionate about their history and culture and love sharing that with our clients. Your experiences with the Alpaca wool and the salt mines are not experienced by many travelers to Peru, but well worth the visit. Not everyone takes the time to go off the beaten path and see some of the other sites available, but we are glad you did and that you allowed us to show them to you. Thanks again
