Salkantay Trek with encouragement, expertise and humor!
Our excellent guide, Sergio, led us up and down, over and through some of the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen, along rocky, smooth, steep, flat, challenging paths - with expertise and humor, always keeping our safety as well as positive experience a priority. Excellent value for money; excellent food, quiet accommodations with no one else around - last night in Aguas Calientes the exception. Sergio pointed out special bits we may have missed, sharing his love for the region, for Pachamama.

    Incredible tour with spectacular views!
This trek was absolutely amazing!! I went with my boyfriend and we were in a small group with one other couple and tour guide Eduardo with chef Esteban and horseman Wilbur. The food was delicious and fresh for every meal, the guide was super funny and was like a friend to us. He told us about all the history and his life in Cusco, a great guy! The views were insane, from salkantay pass snowy mountains to the high jungle and local farms we passed through. The days were planned perfectly with the hardest days rewarded with warm showers and a hot springs we got to visit near the end. 100% would recommend this tour to others! It was a memorable adventure and a perfect first trek for us!

    Best Trek in Peru, Period.
Wow. Where to start… Each and every minute of this trek was equally as breathtaking as it was exciting. For my girlfriend and I, this was our first ever trek in a foreign country. We have backpacked all over California and we’re ready to find some adventure in Peru, and find it we did! Without spoiling too much of the experience, all I can say is that the landscapes you will come across on this adventure is second to none. This blew everything I thought I knew of Peru out of the water! The mountains are huge, and the first couple of days feels like what I’d imagine the Himalayas in Nepal would feel like. Afterwards you descend into the high jungle of Peru, sleeping in villages where the locals show you incredible hospitality and grace. Coming from the USA, this was an eye-opening experience throughout. The food was great, especially from our cook Estéban, and the trip leader, Eduardo, has first-rate experience and is the best of his kind. The five days were over in a rush, of course ending with beautiful Machu Picchu, but the rest of the experience was almost even more special than the destination, with conversations over dinner of the history of the Inca in Peru, as well as diving into the culture of the lands and villages we passed through. A terrific experience, one that will surely reside with me for the rest of my life!

    Amazing Adventure on Salkantay Trek
We did the salkantay trek for 5 days. I‘m really happy to had the tour with conde travel. Everything was well organized. The Day before the trip, we had a Briefing with the Tour Guide. There we got all the important Information for the trip, like what stuff we have to take with us. All our Questions were answered there, too. On the tour we had a cook with us who cooked the biggest an most delicious meals. We just had to concentrate on walking the pass and enjoying the nature. Our tents, in the camps, were builded up for us and the horse guy carried most of our stuff in the duffelbags with his horses. Every evening we got Information how the next day would look like and everytime we had questions, the tour guide was there for us. He was also checking all the time how our condition was to give us options, for example to ride the horse on a difficult part of the trek. If you go with conde Travel for the salkantay trek you get much information about life and the people in peru and also about the great culture of the inkas. It was such a wonderful adventure to Walk through this beautiful nature with many great memories. Lots of thanks goes to our friend and guide Eduardo and to Esteban the greatest cook.

    A Rewarding 5 Days!
There were a lot of moving parts but our guide, Stif briefed us as frequently. He was very knowledgeable about the region and history. If there’s a way to request him on your trip, I would recommend you make that happen!

Great trek to take to explore Peru and it’s culture. Had lots of fun with Stif and John as our guides. I do recommend you have hiking experience or the cardio and endurance to get through some long days of hiking.

    Worth the money!!!!
From beginning to end, our trip with Conde was an amazing experience. The night before, we met with our guide and were able to have all of our questions answered. Our guide, Manu, went above and beyond to handle everything for us and ensure that we had an unforgettable experience. Despite unpredicted rain on the mountain biking day, we still had an amazing experience. Rafting and zip-lining were super fun additive experiences that I highly recommend. The accommodation was as expected with comfortable beds and hot showers. It was so nice having a tour guide with us every step of the way that had detailed knowledge of Peru and its history. Our trip was also well planned out with food stops along the way that highlighted the gastronomy of Peru and unique experiences (like grinding coffee by hand). Traveling through Conde Travels is well worth the money and I highly recommend.

We had a great experience doing the Inca jungle trail with our guide Eduardo. The tour was well organized and the places we stayed at were all very nice. The tour guide also gave us the option to do additional activities such as rafting, zip lining and going to the hot springs (which I would highly recommend). On the final day during our visit to Machu Picchu Eduardo gave a clear explanation of the history of the place and what was facts or speculation. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking to visit Machu Picchu!

This was the best trip we took in Peru. Our guide told us a lot about the nature, the Inka culture and many more things. The trip was well organized and the food was great. Eating fresh lemons along the way and making your own coffee were just a few of the smaller things that made this trip special. Machu Picchu was definitely the highlight of the tour and our guide passionately told us many things about the culture, history and the way of living of the Inka. Reaching Machu Picchu at 6 am, we were able to enjoy this place without too many tourists.

We started with a perfect briefing and a gentle contact of our tourguides Stiff and Daniel. On the biking we had stunishing views and we were grateful of the care they gave when Pepijn fell with the bike. After, the rafting was really a good experience and very amusing with our guide Antonio. Arrived at the ecolodge we where overwhelmed of the beauty of the place. The hiking the day after was full of surprises thanks to the knowledge of our two tourguides Stiff and Daniel. We learned a lot of the nature and the habits off the Incas. Flying as a condor trough the valley on the zipline delivered also amazing views. I am very glad that the hiking to the Machu Picchu started early in the morning so we could see the sun rise at the Machu Picchu. After we got a very complete explanation of the lives of the Incas thanks to Daniel.
It were 4 days we will always remember thanks to the care, knowledge and patience of Stiff and Daniel. especially the understanding that they showed when the children got ill. Thanks a lot for this amazing experience. Anjaj pachapapas Stiff and Daniel

Jose, or should i say 'SAN Jose' was more than just a tour guide, he is your best friend. I know got lucky being paired up with the group i had but we all became an instant family during these short but long 4 days of action packed adventures. San jose was very knowledgeable on history and geography of the area. (I honestly think he should be a history teacher than a tour guide) but all of the activities were alot of fun and i felt very safe. They made sure personal safety was attended to with many professional measures to ensure it. The food went above and beyond expectaions. This is a great way of getting to see most of the trails without having to camp out and carry an unnecessary amount of baggage. I'd like to note that if you havent booked a ticket for machu picchu you have to wait in line to buy a ticket which starts around 11pm and our tour guide the great "san jose" waited in line for us at 2am to ensure we got tickets. I cant express just how much i appreciate the care given to us by this company and their dedicated employees. I wish i had more time to try all of their tour packages. (Fyi: san jose is also a very talented salsa dancing instructor 😂😂)

Our trip was very nice and fun. We had a nice guide who explained a lot. The first day we went biking and rafting, this was I think our most favorite day without the Machu Picchu because it was so diverse and the activities were very fun. We stayed in a family house in the jungle which was a very nice experience. The second day we walked approximately 6 hours but it did not really feel like this. The route had a beautiful view. The third day we went ziplining and hiking. For us the ziplining was not that thrilling as expected but nevertheless we do not regret choosing this activity. The last day was of course the Machu Picchu, where we had a really long and nice tour throughout the village by our guide.

Our guide was kind and helpful. The whole experience was good and also the contact with Conde travels was very clear.

One point that maybe could be better is the payment. With creditcard you pay almost 6% more, which is quite a lot. Therefore we chose to pay in cash. Only we did not have the precise amount and the man who we paid for did not have money back. We paid 14 dollars more, which is quite a lot in Soles.

Overall 10/10 experience, can only recommend. When you book, ask for Alfredo as your guide. Alfredo made the whole experience unforgettable with his extensive knowledge about nature and history. His English is also perfect.

We (5 people) went on this trip in December 2022 amidst the government protests and strikes. Nevertheless Alfredo knew some locals and always managed to get us to our next location without any troubles. The tour itself is organized well and the accommodations are also good.

Definitely bring a lot of mosquito spray sunscreen, and cash (min 250 sol) to buy for water/snacks.

My trip was an amazing experience. Flor in the office at Conde travel organised everything and was always on hand to answer any questions. It was a nice touch that after finishing the rest of Peru tour she met me with my new guide for the Inca jungle trek. This was after hours and no doubt in their own time. As for the Inca jungle trek it was a fantastic way to see Machu Picchu. With activities every day and some lovely walks. The biking and rafting were the highlight as well as the hot springs after a days walking. Our guide Jose was amazing, he always had a smile on his face and was more than a guide. He always knew the best spot for photos and was happy to take them. He always made sure everyone was well fed and used to help out serving the food as well as clearing away after. He made sure everyone was ok on the long walks. I loved being up the front of the walks with him and tapping in to his vast knowledge of the flaurs, fauna and Inca history. When he invited me to his house after the trip I knew the offer was genuine and would have taken him up on it had time allowed. Don't hesitate to book this trip and if your lucky enough to get Jose as your guide you will not be disappointed.

The different activities where good, we had enough rest in between and time to do everything at our own paste. The hotel first night (B&B in the mountain) was a welcome change. The rafting guide (Go Santi!) Was amazing! Downside is that the quality of the bikes was bad and 3 of them broke down along the way. For one of the guests it meant falling down, and luckily without being hurt (flipped over after his chain broke).

Had an absolutely stellar time on this 4 day experience. Our guide, Eduardo was extremely personable, knowledgeable and engaged throughout the entire experience. All of the activities were well planned and he even met with us the night before to ensure we were aware of the full itinerary and knew what to expect/pack. Couldn’t recommend this any more. For those who want an adrenaline rush, a workout and more importantly, an insight into the Peruvian culture, this is the tour for you.

Our experience was great, we did biking on the first day throughout the mountain roads and saw amazing views! At the end of the day arrived to Santa Teresa where we had a swim in the hot springs there. The next day was dedicated to zip lining and walking towards Aquas Calientes. All these activities were perfectly organised and assisted by our guide Stif Tito who was always there for us, showed and told us very interesting stories and places and took us for lunch both days to a local families houses who cooked greatly! Lastly, we went up to Machu Picchu and Stif also told us the stories of the Incas and the place. All was an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend Stif as well as Conde Travel!
