          Great tour, would recommend.
Great tour, excellent service, friendly staff. Everything was smooth. We were connected by our Airbnb and glad we did this tour.

They were a no call/no show! Do not book anything with this company.
I booked the South Valley trip online and received a confirmation, but on the day of our trip, we waited for over an hour out front of our hotel and Esteban Adventures did not show up, or call us. We made multiple attempts to call them, but the phone number they have listed online and in the confirmation email is not a working number (+51984375894). The concierge at our Hotel, the JW Marriott Cusco, even started trying to call them with no success. The staff at the hotel were surprised the company didn't show up or call us - apparently this was something uncommon. This could of really ruined our day, but thankfully the bellmen and concierge at the Hotel were absolutely amazing and setup a private driver for us to go to the same sites. Do not book anything through this Esteban Adventure company, as it seems they have either gone out of business or are scam artists.

This trip is an excellent choice for people who like to see amzing historical places around Cusco. Very friendly and helpful guide, with good knowledge.Nice choice of the restaurant (which is included in the price of the trip) made our day very pleasant.

          Best tour guide to date
My girlfriend and I went to Cusco for 8 days and normally when we travel we walk around the main plaza to find tour guides and the cheapest prices, we had no need to do this with Esteban Adventures, as soon as we met Daniel we noticed we were speaking to a trusted person, we let him do our itinerary for the whole stay here, we did everything we had time for! And the prices were unbeatable! (We saw prices on many tour guide offices and Esteban’s are unbeatable) We managed to fill out the general Cusco ticket except for museums which we were too tired to do 😅

Driver Fell Asleep at the Wheel
My first complaint is that our driver was about 30 to 45 minutes late picking us up—that could have been because of a change in the schedule or other clients running late, but our driver drove extremely aggressively through mountain switchbacks and passed every vehicle going in our direction from Cusco to Ollantaytambo (where we then got on the train). On the way back, our driver was slightly less aggressive; I attribute it to his dozing off behind the wheel, which I found pretty startling sitting in the front row of the van right next to him. All of the tour guides any company offers are registered with the Ministerio de Cultura of Peru (as was our driver—a day full of tours probably tired him out). With another company, you don't need to worry about getting a worse tour guide, but you'll likely get a more prudent and better rested driver.

Unprofessional and disorganized.... Find another company
We booked the 2-Day Tour to Machu Picchu By Minivan from Cusco through Viator which was a big mistake and Viator fully refunded us after the horrible experience. The tour operator listed on our confirmation was Esteban Adventure Agencia de Operadora de Turismo. I have had some cool travel opportunities on multiple continents and this stands out as the worst tour I have ever done. We found it hard to get information online about visiting Machu Picchu. The official website for making the bookings was having technical difficulties and much of the information was in Spanish. We decided to book an overnight guided tour to Machu Picchu through Viator since we thought it would make the visit less complicated. Viator falsely listed on their website Our Product Managers select only the most experienced and reliable operators in each destination, removing the guesswork for you, and ensuring your peace of mind. So far from true and more stress on this trip than any other vacation. The company was horrible at communicating and did not actually provide guides for the guided tour. For example, they provide van transportation to the Hydroelectric station but then leave you on your own to walk 2-3 hours along the train track to Aguas Calientes. There is an option to book a train for 31 each way but none of this was communicated prior to trip ie the train to Aguas Calientes and bus to Machu Picchu are not listed in the exclusion section on the Viator website. Either way you are required to carry your luggage either walking or on the train for an additional charge. I would think that should have been communicated on the website or at the very least during the tour confirmation communication. When you arrive in Aguas Calientes, you have to find a plaza on your own and wait there to be given further instruction ie your hotel name when you are then on your own to find it. The private van with only 15 people turns into a gathering of more than 50 people. Totally chaotic and a big waste of time and money. When you complain to the guides about the information not being provided properly on the Viator website or in the confirmation and they take no responsibility since they are contractors. I don't have a suggestion of which company to use but please don't waste your time and money with this unprofessional group.

          GREAT PRICE
Daniel is super nice, took the time to personally pick us up from the airport, and take us where we needed to go to buy the train tickets, made sure we had all the info we needed. And even took us around cusco to show us the best spots. The price he offers literally can NOT be beat. He included everything, for a price lower than other agencies, without cutting corners. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because one incident... Nationals and tourists have to take two separate trains to aguas calientes, where machu picchu is, what he didn't tell us was they also don't stop in the station. The tourist train stops in the station, the national train stops in the middle of town... My boyfriend is peruvian, I am not. We got lost and couldn't find each other. Daniel, you need to tell people about this, not only did I almost get left behind, but you gave us a scare being in a town we don't know. Other than that It was a great experience
