Learned mountain biking skills and beautiful Inka culture! Amazing tour :)
Our guide Armando and the driver were super helpful! We had an amazing time. Though it was my first mountain biking experience, I feel safe and supported by the guide all the time. He gave me little tips about cycling through these bumpy hills. The guide Armando is very knowledgeable and he feels proud of sharing us things related to the Inka culture. We experienced the locals’ way of showing respect to the mountains, learned about the inka symbols. It was such a beautiful experience, I really appreciate it!

Amazing authentic experience with guide Luis
Our guide Luis was amazing throughout this tour today. Not only that me and my friends enjoyed this exclusive 3 person biking tour, but also we learned a lot about the local information and culture items such as Coca, the Machupichu, rainbow mountain and even the Japanese Peruvian history etc

          Best Hiking Experience ever!
Fantastic trip with lots of amazing scenery and great fun. Some of these scenery are only possible by taking the hiking trail. If you take the train or road, you probably won’t see so much. The hiking trails are moderate as per the itinerary and the guide was good and experienced and made regular stops to help us get to our destinations.

Not sure what’s better: the Peruvian jungle or Luis
Luis, our tour guide was the best part of the trip. An Inca man who is knowledgeable and proud to share his vast experiences with us. Great local experience that we couldn’t have otherwise gotten. He made us feel very safe and we had everything we needed at all times.

I cannot say enough good things about this tour! Luis our guide was super knowledgeable and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed the entire time. He went above and beyond to make sure that we were enjoying ourselves and were having a good time. Every day was a new unique adventure. I will definitely be coming back if I’m ever in Peru again.

Fab biking tour- super accommodating of only 2 people!
Louis was super responsive and very helpful in organising a biking tour last minute. This company is one of the only ones that will let you book for just 2 people, includes lunch and is very reasonably priced. It meant we actually had a private guide which was so helpful. Italo, our guide, had great knowledge about the area and the trails. He was clearly super passionate about biking and sorted a flat tire super quickly. Lunch was great.

          A really fun 4 days!
When I travel, I love to do some adventure, to try new things and learn about the culture and the life of the country I am visiting and I was served with this tour. We had a really great time doing the trail because of the many different activities. Mountain bike, rafting and hiking made us discover the Inka trail under different perspectives, whilst the activities such as coffee making or food tasting made us discover the local traditions and costumes. Our guide Luìs Armando was really interesting and was giving us a lot of information and answered our many questions. We felt really safe and well taken care of while travelling with him. I would totally recommend this trail!

          BEST TIME EVER
Absolutely loved this trek! So fun and diversified. From bike to hiking to making your own coffee from scratch. Everything we did, I loved. Luis Armando was our tour guide. He has so much knowledge and was able to answer all our questions. As two Canadian young women travelling alone, we felt very safe with him. I would book again with him anytime! xx

Such an amazing experience, I would do it again!
My friends and I did the 1-day 12km hike to Machu Picchu. It was the most amazing scenery I have ever experienced. The views were incredible and Armando was a fantastic guide. Everything was well-organized by Inkas Destination and Armando and we had no issues with transportation, logistics, etc... Additionally, Armando was very knowledgeable and passionate about the environment, the history and the area and was very helpful on our trek. It's a long day and the hike can be challenging at times but it was well worth it.

          Amazing experience
We did the Inca Jungle Trail as a group of 3 friends. To keep it short and simple: it was amazing!! We chose this trip over the classic Inka Trail because of the activities that were offered besides the hiking, like mountain biking, rafting and zip-lining and also because it was way cheaper than the classic Inka Trail. Our guide, Luis, was very nice, competent and funny as he was guiding us safely through the wonderful landscapes of Peru. All of us really enjoyed the trip and it's safe to say that this trip was one of our greatest experiences so far. We would definitely recommend this trip, as you get an amazing tour for a very good price.

I put myself to the challenge and joined the Salkantay Trek with Incas Destination. I didn't have a lot of experience hiking but I manage to complete the trek succesfully.
It's a beautiful trail which leads you through different climates. On the first day you visit the Humantay Lake located on high altitude, a beautiful lake with an icy wall on the background. The second day is the most challenging, in the morning we were walking up to the Salkantay pass in the snow, in the afternoon we walked down all the way to the high jungle. Very interesting to see the vegetation slowly change, from snow to a green forrest environment.
After the 2nd day the trek gets a bit easier. On the 4th day you will visit Machu Picchu, which is simply amazing.
The guides are able to explain all the stories well in English and they create a nice atmosphere amongst the participants. I joined solo but I met many people on the way. You will wake up early everyday, but trust me you will fall asleep early as well after being outdoor all day. The food is great!
I was able to take so many great pictures of the beautiful landscapes, so if you're hesitating to bring a camera definitely do it. Besides, you are able to put 10 kilos of your stuff on a horse while you're walking.
Ps. I didn't use any walking sticks, it's definitely possible. Only my knees hurt a bit after walking down a lot, I think using sticks could have prevented it.
