Kennedy and our driver picked us up at 8 AM at our hotel. They gave us each a company Peruvian satchel with water. Driving time between each stop is about an hour long. Kennedy spoke good English, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I would take this tour again and specifically request Kennedy! We had a buffet style lunch, which was better than I expected. Overall, we all had a great time.

Excellent tour and guide. It's the only way to see the area with an understanding. You really can't do it on your own. We had a great bus and driver and guide for our party of 4. Our guide spoke perfect English and was quite knowledgeable. I will say, when you see how the wool is made and have an opportunity to buy you really should take full advantage. We bought a few scarves thinking we would see the same quality and prices other places, but we really didn't. The quality and prices were unmatched. It's a full day from Cusco. Take some cash. You'll pay an Enterance fee the first place you go and they'll give you a ticket. Keep the ticket; it's your Enterance fee to other stops as well. We felt this was very good value for our money. We highly recommend this tour.

I booked 2 tours - Sacred Valley private tour and 2 day Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. The company offered a discount for booking 2 tours which was great. Communication was fast and easy through email and once we got to the office to debrief for our tour we felt that we were in good hands.
Sacred Valley tour - our tour guide Edgar and driver Percy picked us up from our hotel and we loved how personal the tour was. We visited Inca sites in Chinchero, Ollantaytabo, and Pisaq and we learned so much about the Inca history and culture. Edgar was very knowledgeable of the history and went above and beyond to make our tour enjoyable.
2 day Inca Trail - there was a lot of transportation involved in getting Machu Picchu but everything was flawless. We had a van that picked us up from the hotel that drove us to the train station and our tour guide Willy (Wilfredo) was waiting for us at Km 104 for our day hike. Hike was harder than expected with the altitude but Willy made sure that everyone was okay and we made rest stops along the way. I would recommend this hike to everyone especially because you can experience what the Incas went through to get to Machu Picchu. You feel like you are traveling back in time.
Overall I would recommend this tour to everyone who visit Cusco area. The company is honest, genuine and down to earth. Thank you for making our visit so memorable!

We had a great time on our Sacred Valley tour. My mother and I enjoyed our tour with Franco very much. He was very well prepared and very knowledgeable about the area and the history of Peru. His English was perfect and he was very professional, he brought books to show us pictures and to better explain the history of Peru. Franco did an A++ job from beginning to end, I highly recommend this tour company and Franco our tour guide was amazing!!

This was another great tour in Peru and well worth the price. The guide was great and you get to see some amazing places. The other cool thing about this trip was that there were locals selling garments and other stuff along the way -- we got great deals on baby alpaca comforters and hand made wood crafts (eg chess set with the Incas and the Spanish). People were great and the street food was superb. Awesome!

After researching trekking companies extensively, I selected Inkayni Peru Tours. As a former educator, I was impressed with their mission and vision. They are committed to giving back to the families and communities where their porters reside. From my first inquiry, the staff (Alex, Edwin, Lisbeth), made me feel that we would have a special experience. And indeed we did! Paul, our guide and our driver, Flavio (sp?), picked us up at 5:15 am. at our Airbnb, and off we went. Paul was very knowledgeable about each of the sites we visited, and he tailored his focus to our areas of interest. His respect for the Incan culture and wisdom, was evident. I had trouble climbing to the top of Ollantaytambo because of the thin air. Paul was so patient and encouraging all along the way. During the drive between sites, he also pointed out other landmarks and told us about present day life in the Sacred Valley. For example; we learned about the blessing of new cars, and watched a local cook barbequing Cuys. We felt right at home with Paul. He was so friendly and relaxed and made us feel that nothing was more important then sharing these beautiful ruins and history with us. On the drive back to Cusco, Paul had Flavio pull over so that he could show us some of the constellations in the night sky. An added bonus was the delicious buffet lunch! I would highly recommend Paul for any tours you are considering. Thanks again!!

The entire structure is incredibly large, and the stonework on the large pieces is mind-blowing. I liked Chincheros and Pisaq but Ollantaytambo was the greatest

We did two private tours with Inkayni, one to take us to the Sacred valley (with drop off at our hotel) and one to bring us back to Cuzco. This worked really well, leaving us in Urubamba in a good position to sandwich Machu Picchu in between and avoiding having to take other kinds of transport when the train is interrupted during off-season. However this is an aside, the main point was, that this way we also saw the highlights of the sacred valley, from Pisaq, to Maras and Moray. All in the company of a professional guide and driver. Perfect!!

Inkayni Tours says it is committed to providing local and informed tour guides. Our guide, Percy, was excellent. His sharing of Andean and Inka history and spiritual practices grew directly out of his own lived experience. In route and at each location, Percy added great richness to our time with all he had to share. We thoroughly enjoyed the several days we spent traveling the Sacred Valley and visiting Machu Pichu.

My husband and I just returned from our customized private tour of the four Inka ruins just outside of Cusco and of Pisac. We booked yesterday afternoon (at the last minute) and we were treated very well by the office staff. This morning, as promised, our tour guide and driver picked us up exactly on time for what turned out to be a spectacular day.
Our guide, Jonathan, was super friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He shared with us so much interesting history about each of the five Inka sites we visited today, and made pleasant conversation in between his historical teachings. He was super thoughtful and organized in collaboratively planning our day so that we could see the sites at times when there were no crowds, and he added in two extra stops which were great. At the Pisac market, he helped us discern what items were authentic alpaca wool, and helped us communicate with the local vendors. We would give Jonathan 5 out of 5 stars!
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our day tour, as we felt very well taken care of and loved all the places we visited. We look forward to our next tour with the Inkayni team!

Hi, we'll in Cusco in 2 weeks and would like to know what time does this tour usually ends and if it's possible to be dropped off in Ollantaytambo instead of Cusco?

i don't know who sees this, i might be able to contact our guide. `i bet you won't have any problem, worst case scenario seems like you could rent a taxi to meet the guide. For our tour the company had a rep show us our options. i only went once for a week, but there is a lot of good advice on the internet about travel in Peru. We had a guide that was incredible, wife and i were the only ones.
Is there any way we can be picked up from our hotel at 9:30 instead of 8am? We arrive in Cusco at 7am. Or can we be picked up from the airport? We have a quick trip to Peru and would definitely like to start it off with a private tour of the sacred valley.
We will be arriving on July 11th.

I am sure you can work this out with your tour operator, as long as you are on a private tour. Starting later gives you two choices: end at the same time & see less as you will have less time or end later and plan on giving an enhanced tip to your driver & guide. The folks there are used to closing down early - by 6p most things are buttoned up. So pushing later in the day won’t get you much of an advantage.
