Itinerary
- 1The first point where we will stop will be the Cantera de Añashuayco; which we will reach in 45 minutes approx. Currently it is in operation, the stonemasons perform their work from very early; in the place we will be able to appreciate an immense canyon with farallones (walls of ignimbrita) that have several meters of height, formed by the extraction for the formation of the Ashlars. At this point we will tell you the history of sillar, the elaboration and the use that has been given to you since always. In this quarry you can see a Mega-carving of the Church of the Society of Jesus made by the stonemasons themselves. We can also visit some of them so that they can explain to us how their daily work is and they can make us experience cutting one of their stone blocks ourselves. Then we will move to the Quebrada de Culebrillas, which is 30 minutes away from Añashuayco. Arriving at this point we will make a walk of approximately 20 minutes inside the small canyon formed by the passage of water, which has walls of 15 to 20 meters, while we enter it the walls of the canyon are increasing in height. At the end of the walk we can see petroglyphs made by the Wari culture more than a thousand years ago. Before returning to the city we will observe the Apachetas which are stone formations placed one on top of the other that are a symbol of gratitude towards nature and also attraction of good luck which cause a mystical sensation.

We had a great experience with Comfort Peru Travel. Since the very begining we wrote them and Beto answered us right away. We were having some troubles trying to see all we wanted to see during the days we were going to spend in Cusco. Beto solved all of ours problems. He wrote me back with all the sollutions we needed. So, we fullfill ours days in Cusco with tours from Comfort Peru Travel. We did the city tour, the Sacred Valley (Chinchero - Maras - Moray - Ollantaytambo - Pisac) and Vinicunca.
All of them were great experiences!
All the days Beto came very punctual to pick us up at the hostel and take us to the begining of the tour.
On the day of Sacred Valley tour, we had a problem and beto solved everything for us! We were placed on the wrong tour. We were suposed to visit Maras and Moray and we noticed that the tour we were in wans't taking us to theses places. We called Beto, he took some time to arranged everything and called us back, telling us to wait for him in some point of the tour cuz he was coming to pick us up and take us to the tour we wanted. In the end, Beto took us to Maras, Moray and Ollantaytambo and we had a very very special VIP tour.

I booked day tours to Rainbow Mountain, the Sacred Valley and transport to Maccu Piccu with Beto at Comfort Tours.
Beto was very professional in arranging the tours, providing a map and thorough details for me. He speaks very good English too. The prices for the tours are standard across all agencies in Cusco.
On my day tour to Rainbow Mountain, I left my camera tripod on the bus. When I contacted Beto, he immediately got hold of the bus company and driver and was able to get my tripod back that evening, saving me a lot of hassle.
On my way back from Maccu Piccu, I decided to change from the bus to the train. Beto kindly refunded my bus ticket and was able to arrange trabsort for me.
If you want good professional customer service, book with Beto. His office is close to Plaza de Armas and Sun Gate hostel.
