- Christoph R0 contributionsIsland hoping on lake Titikaka and experiencing the local lifeWe had a great time visiting these islands on lake Titikaka. We could experience the local life, get in contact with the locals and taste their food. The trip was accompanied with information by our tour guide Samuel, which really did a great jobWritten September 5, 2024

- G6976TVbeckyl0 contributionsBeautiful Lake & Island⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Visiting Lake Titicaca, Uros, and Taquile Island was an unforgettable experience! The sheer beauty of the lake, surrounded by the Andes, is breathtaking. The floating Uros islands, made entirely of reeds, are fascinating, and learning about the unique lifestyle of the Uros people was incredibly enriching. Taquile Island, with its stunning views and vibrant culture, offered a glimpse into the deep traditions of the local community. The hospitality of the islanders was heartwarming, and the traditional crafts and textiles are must-see. This trip was a perfect blend of nature, culture, and history. Highly recommended!Written August 25, 2024

- Roving650707631380 contributionsOur best trip so far!We had an amazing tour guide named Samuel who spoke fluent English, Spanish and the native languages. This was a great asset to get to know the different cultures and be able to communicate with the native inhabitants. Samuel was very knowledgeable, informative and funny and we got to know Peru in a whole different light. The natives cooked traditional meals for us and made us feel very welcome. Staying in a traditional house was an interesting and cozy experience. I would fully recommend the tour! (also our boat driver was better than the one from the titanic :))Written August 19, 2024
- TamirN_130 contributionsIsland trip is a mustPuno and Lake Titicaca are both not easy places to get to but this tour to the floating islands was well worth the travel. Our guide Richard was very experienced and had a connection with local island folks which made our experience all the more magicalWritten August 16, 2024
- Kelleybklyn0 contributionsAn amazing experienceAfter the long train ride from Cusco to Puno the day before, we were dragging and questioning whether another early wake up and tour was worth it. It really was! Lake Titicaca and the islands are unmissable. Our guide Samuel grew up on an island and personally understood the traditional Indigenous cultures and languages of the islanders we meet. We honestly could not have asked for a better experience.Written August 13, 2024

- lazafer0 contributionsLovely experience with the kindest tour guideThe tour is full day but is not tiring at all. You get to see the most beautiful scenarios of Puno with proper explanation and discussion with Samuel, our tour guide who was incredibly heplful and kind at all times. Locals at Uros and Taquile were so welcoming. We had fresh trout for lunch with a view of titikaka lake that was quite a luxury. We were short on cash so Samuel lend us some so we didn’t miss the opportunity of buying local crafts. The end of the tour was Sillustani, amazing views and magnetic atmosphere. Again, Samuel was so oriented to detail when explaining everything. He really made the difference for us. Lovely experience!Written July 28, 2024

Yhe lunch included was also great. The only complaint I have is that it was not a new boat. It was the same boat as all the others.Written July 25, 2024
