    Amazing day!
James was an exceptional guide! The farm was beautiful and we learned so much about the chocolate making process. The lunch served at the "castle" was amazing! I highly recommend this experience!

Enjoyable tour showing the highlights of the city
We were impressed with our guide's, Corina, knowledge of the city and her English skills. Plus, the fact she self-taught herself in a total of three languages. We enjoyed our tour and gave us a good layout of the city. We felt very safe.

A Fantastic Day Tour Around Guayaquil, Ecuador
A wonderful way to learn about and explore Ecuador/Guayaquil. Our guides were knowledgeable, friendly and infinitely patient with our group of 7. Our tour covered the dry jungle where we saw howler monkeys (and dodged mosquitos in our mosquito nets and DEET), mangroves (on a long, canoe-like boat) where we saw a multitude of bird and other wildlife, and a visit to a working Cocoa farm/ranch where we learned all about growing, refining and finishing chocolate. The lunch served at the Cocoa farm was fantastic local fare, including a ceviche to die for! Highly recommended.

Amazing tour!!! Jaime is the best!
Jaime was an incredible guide and he took extra time when we had questions. This was our first tour in ecuador and he really made it special! The cacao farm was amazing and we got to try fresh chocolate with raw sugar and it is my new favorite way to eat it! Thank you for an amazing tour!

    An enjoyable experience.
The staff was very accommodating and helpful. They were very concerned about our safety. The lunch was decent and plentiful. The tour operator included snorkeling equipment and wetsuits which many of the other agencies charge extra for. Our only complaint was the office was closed when we went back to return our equipment?. Still would recommend and be sure to pack your sunscreen.

    Great visit
My wife and I joined Jaime Bolaños for a trip from our hotel in Guayaquil to the farm. Jaime was quite informational about Ecuador and the surrounding area on the trip out there. Once we got to the farm, we saw cacao plants and how to extract the cocoa beans went through the whole process of eventually making our own chocolate bars. We then had a delightful lunch on site. The whole adventure was a wonderful day. Jaime Bolaños made it much more enjoyable with his discussion going and coming. I recommend that Jaime. Ask for Jaime to take you.

    Highly recommend!
Wonderful experience! Hymie, our tour guide, was outstanding and made us feel safe and well cared for in our first venture to Guayaquil. Our river/forest guide Carlos did a great job spotting wildlife. Hacienda Cacao Y Mango was delightful and so enjoyed Jamal our guide, the delicious lunch and the emersion chocolate experience. Have already raved about the tour and recommended to friends. Would have liked more detailed info about the tour upfront but so glad we went.

    Would go Again!
The meal provided was local and delicious. During COVID the family learned how to make recipes and new uses for their chocolate. They’ve done an incredible job and it was so fun seeing all the beautiful plants and learning about cacao and chocolate making.

    Fantastic tor and tour guide.
The best part of our experience was sour tour guide Walter. He was exceptionally knowledgeable about all things Quayaqui. History, politics, weather. I could go on and on. He had a lovely helpful personality and was a pleasure to listen to and ask questions of. Really the best tout I have ever been on.

Relaxed good times on after a week of touring
The people, the places, the food, the day. All was great. Only hitch was communication on pickup. We thought it was an hour later than tour thought. Uh oh we almost missed out

    Fantastic experience, would highly recommend!
We had a really great time with Jamie and are so grateful he took the time to tour us to the cacao farm. He is so knowledgeable and open about both his life in Guayaquil and about this family run farm that we feel like we spent the day with a good friend. Because our tour started a bit later than usual (thanks to an error with Expedia) we started the tour of the farm with lunch. Everything was incredible. We’ve really come to love Ecuadorian food, but this meal was especially well prepared. We highly recommend trying everything! Then, we were given a tour around the farm to see the huge variety of plants and fruits they host. Again, we highly recommend trying everything offered! We learned so much about the cacao process and we’re so surprised about all its different phases, smells, and tastes. The end result was delicious! Our only suggestion would be to bring insect repellent (even in the dry season) but have to thank Jamie for offering us his to use! Overall, this is a great way to spend your time in Guayaquil and we loved our tour with Jamie. Thank you thank you!
