Cultural, Historical and gastronomical walk in the Old Town if Ecuador.
Mariam was a very engaging guide. She allowed us to observe things around us before giving us information. This way the tour was very interactive and participative. The tour also included fruit tasting and chocolate tasting with culture and history embedded within her narration. Very eye opening and interesting indeed.

Guided group walking tour of historic Quito
We did the free walking tour of Quito with Myriam. She was superb. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about her country. The pace of the tour was reasonable and allowed us to take in some of the sights of Quito. The tour included a stop in the central market, fruit tasting, a walk by several churches and a chocolate tasting. Would recommend this for any who want to see some highlights of Quito in 3 hours.

      ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!!
Wow!! What an incredible experience! Iman, our tour guide was so friendly, funny, and knowledgeable about all historic things in Ecuador. He took us around all the major hot spots in the historic town of Quito, introduced us to so many locals and their businesses, and gave us such an authentic Ecuadorian cultural experience. We were left with such a great impression of Ecuador and its enriching culture. We definitely recommend this tour! The experience was unmatched.

      Lovely walking tour in Quito
The tour was one of the best I've ever done, as we were able to try typical fruits of the country also Canelazo that is a typical beverage and also we did a chocolate taste! We also visited some impressive and colonial buildings. Apart from that , our guide Diego is an excellent communicator and a well of knowledge of Quito and his country.

Best free walking tour on South America!
My friend and i went on This walking tour with not to many expectations, since we have been on a few before in Peru and Bolivia, which haven’t been too exciting, but this one was really outstanding! Myriam was an amazing guide, and made the whole tour very interesting! She told us so many things about Ecuador's history, their culture and religion, and we just became more and more curious on this amazing country, that we definitely need to come back to, to explore on the fullest. Can highly recommend the tour and just visiting Quito and Ecuador in general:)

Miriam’s a wonderful tour guide! Take the tour!
Miriam was our guide today and she was wonderful! It starts at the rooftop of the hostel—if I went again I’d get a juice here before the tour starts. It’s a great view and the jugos look excellent. On the tour, we learned about traditional healers, the history of Ecuadorian cooking ingredients, learned about the national dish, and tried local fruits and chocolate. Miriam led us through the Centro Historico, pointing out details we would have never known about and would have otherwise missed, and it made our overall Quito experience much more rich. She also recommended us a great local spot for lunch. It was really fun and informative.

Good intro to the city of Quito
The meeting spot for the tour is on a beautiful rooftop with great views of the city. Myriam was our tour guide and was so friendly and knowledgeable! The tour has many different stops including fruit and chocolate tastings. Would absolutely recommend this tour, especially for someone new to the city looking to get their bearings in a new place with history and tips directly from a local.

We wondered around Quito with our lovely guide Diego, who showed us lots of local food places, told us about Quito life and history and let us try different food and drinks. We had a great day, would recommend if you’re looking for an interesting and informative tour of Quito!

Getting here was our last day of adventure in three weeks in Peru and Ecuador. We chose the right thing. Loved seeing the Cotopaxi volcano on the way, the local people in the High Andes, the llamas, the farms, the local culture. The view from the top of the lagoon is gorgeous and reminded us of Crater Lake National Park in Oregon, USA, but more green. The hike down is rather challenging, as the trail slopes down and is quite slippery on sand, even with good hiking boots. Very pretty to get down to the water level though Wish we'd had time to kayak. No way was I going to even try to hike back up, Even getting from the water's edge to the corral where the burros were waiting was a challenge to this out-of-shape American! I certainly felt sheepish on my burro, as a local boy walked up behind us on foot, keeping the burro going, and he wasn't winded at all! Those locals sure deserve a good tip! This was a wonderful last day to our vacation and we're so glad we took the time to get out of Quito and see the countryside.

This tour is a wonderful adventure. The market is fun and colorful, but the stunning Quilotoa Lagoon is the highlight of the day. The hike down to the water is easy, but getting back up is another story entirely! It's a tough hike, but totally worth it (and if you feel like cheating, you can rent a mule). Our guide, Gerardo Ambato, was lovely and very knowledgeable, and he really cared about everyone on the tour. He stayed behind the slowest person during the entire hike, and made sure everyone was okay. What a role model!

Loved this tour to the caldera! The guides were amazing and patient with us, especially those who did not speak Spanish very well. I would recommend hiring a horse or donkey on the way back up because it can be long and exhausting. Best $10 on a horse I ever spent!
