    Great and relaxing afternoon!
I went to a half-day tour and it was great! I don’t have a lot of riding experience but the owners of the ranch and our guide were so nice and encouraging that it was not stressful at all, I could enjoy the ride, the views and the feeling of being closer to the nature, thanks to a bit wild environment aroud and the close cooperation with the horses :) much recommended, if you like animals and want to spend some time outdoors. They have longer and shorter tours, so you will find something for yourself. If you are at least minimally in shape and you have tried horseback riding before, the half day tour shouldn’t be too much and is enough to have a good ride :)

    Simply awesome!
Out family (two adult and two kids 9 and 11) took this trip and it was one of the highlights of our recent visit to Chile, the place is located in the mountains and it was a great weather for the day. We started by putting on gaiters and getting our assigned horses after a quick set of questions about experience riding and such, and then we walked our horses to the training area were we were properly set and adjusted to them, and practiced a few rounds and follow simple instructions to be sure we were all confortable riding. After that the trip takes you out of the campesano location and into the mountains, we rode for a good 1.5 hours up until we stopped in a place to rest, near a nice creek and had some snacks, the ride is pretty awesome sometimes under the trees, or on narrow trails, and sometimes on a more wide and open dirt road, you can see other horses roaming free in the mountains, and she was also explaining about the place, and the huaso life, and horses. After the snack we head back to the Campesano, and there was a great "Asado" waiting for us, food was delicious, and after a day of riding, it tasted even better !! we ate until we could no more, and had the time to chat even more with the guide. They take great care of the horses and you can feel they truly love them, these are well cared and loved (and lovely) horses. This was definitely an experience that we will treasure from this trip !!

Beautiful horseback ride into the mountains
Our family (my wife and I along with our two children ages 9 and 12) had never been horseback riding before and the guides who spoke perfect English gave us all the confidence we needed before, during and even after our ride! After spending 30 minutes familiarizing ourselves with the horses and learning to ride with some basic commands we were off. The horses were familiar with the trail and really didn't need much handling on our part and the guides at the front and the back of our group kept us all in a close group during the outing. The guides were so friendly and spoke such great English it really made the experience memorable. After our horseback ride to the top of the mountain, we came back and had pizza and salad for lunch and hung out at the ranch for probably another hour or so before being taken back to the city to take the train back. This was such a great adventure and a nice way to spend a day on the coast.

    Compedano Horse riding
I had such a wonderful day horse riding on 2 and half hour trail in the mountains. I was picked up at bus station and driven to Campesano. Everything went according to plan. My guide was very nice and went at a comfortable pace. Views were spectacular on the trail. My horse was wonderful and climbed the mountain expertly. Small break at top of hill for water and snack. Springtime when I went so the mountains were so beautiful and green. Ater the ride lunch was prepared and was fresh and delicious! All the staff was very welcoming and made you feel very comfortable. They all spoke English which was a nice break from me trying to speak Spanish. I took a peek at rooms to rent in the house. Looked clean and comfortable. Big living room and dining room you are able to use as well. Next time I may stay the night. Ranch is so pleasant with chickens, friendly dogs and the beautiful horses. Lots of space. Overall a great experience and will be a wonderful memory!❤️🐴

    Had an awesome time
Went in the low season (June) and had an awesome time on the ranch. I booked the 2hr ride the night before and everything was set up when I got there the following morning. It ended up being a solo tour with an amazing guide. The dogs followed along with us the entire ride. Overall, a great escape from the city with only good vibes. Highly recommend!

    Great experience!
My wife and I got tired of the city and decided to do something in the country. We booked the night before, and were still the only two people on the tour. Horses were very well trained and made us feel very confident (even though we are beginners). Our guide was Danish, and the English conversation was welcome after all of the Spanish in Chile. She also took pictures throughout the tour which she shared with us later so we did not have to worry about taking pictures ourselves. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

Wonderful week in the Chilean countryside
I am a "mature" solo traveler and was looking for a bit of adventure with a Chilean flavor. I found just what I was looking for in my week-long stay at the Campesano Ranch, Each horse ride was an exciting adventure through a beautiful landscape. I loved the rides through the hills, but my favorite day was the ride Kai, Tina and I took along the beach and out onto the dunes. The horses at the ranch are extremely well behaved and incredibly competent at navigating the steep mountain trails. They are very well taken care of and it is clear that their well-being is a high priority for the ranch. When not out on a ride, Campesano was a great place to read, relax, take walks, and play with all the many friendly ranch animals. Kai and Tina made the ranch feel like a home away from home with a generous serving of fun and adventure.

    Great Experience
We (3 mature Australians) were looking for something a little different to experience during our last few days in Chile and found Campesano, where we had a wonderful time. Kai, Fabienne & Tina were terrific hosts and tour guides on the horses. We had a ride each day through amazing scenery on such well trained horses. None of us had had much experience so we were a little hesitant on our first ride but became quite confident by day 3. The little two bed cottage was great accommodation and we were very sorry to leave, as it was like staying with friends. Really recommend a stay here.

    Great Evening Horse ride
We did the evening session at the end or March. Our guide was great and very well knowledged in not only horses in general but these specific horses. The views are one of a kind. The trail even for the regular visit was clear but challenging at bits and the horses maneuvered it without fail. Very good overall afternoon.

    Horseback riding and vineyard tour
My wife and I had an amazing day horseback riding and touring a vineyard. The horses are extremely well trained and great for beginners. My wife and I had almost no previous experience with horses and Tina and Kai did great job making us feel comfortable. The trip up the canyon was beautiful! After that Kai took us to a vineyard where we enjoyed lunch, vineyard tour and tasting. The wine was top notch and the vineyard was very scenic. We would highly recommend any type of tour with Campesano. Thanks for a wonderful day!

    Great Day Out
We had a wonderful experience with Kai and Tina. Kai picked us up from the station which was easy to get to and Tina had us do a little practice with our horses before taking us out for our ride. The scenery was beautiful, the horses well looked after and the barbecue afterwards was delicious. We had a great day and would definitely recommend!

One of the highlights of my South American adventure!
Although I only did a half day ride, it was one of the most enjoyable activities I experienced in the month I spent travelling around South America. It was at the end of my trip and I wish I had known how good it was going to be, I would have stayed for a few nights at the ranch. I had never ridden before but my guide Fabienne was great and she made me feel perfectly safe. Fabienne was very knowledgeable about riding and she was also really friendly which made the ride even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it!

    Awesome
I was here with my daughter who is a keen rider, I don’t know much about riding horses myself but the horses were very easy to handle, perfect for beginners, my daughter has been riding for 12 years and this was an amazing experience for her, with the horses climbing up the mountains. Tina was a perfect guide, and Kai (owner) was excellent all around. From the moment he picked us up, he explained everything, showed us the ranch, and after the ride, we had a lovely barbecue. Thank you, all the best! Harry & Ola Olivia P.S. My butt still hurts ;)
