        Terrible tour through Viator
Tour was not anything described on Viator. It was NOT in English, NOT a small group, most of the tour was picking up and dropping off people, we were informed we needed to be back at the van at a certain time and missed over half the tour at the winery. 6 hour tour was only 50 minutes tour at the winery. Absolutely terrible!

        Superb!
Amazing tour of the vineyard and first class wine tasting event, as well as the additional Marques tasting. Very enjoyable and very interesting. The only problem was the queuing and the slowness of the shop prevented me spending any money as I was out of time.

Ultimately disappointing to say the least
Had a wonderful tour. Bought thousands of dollars worth of wine. Never saw the wine. Can’t get anyone to answer the phone or an email or contact form. It’s been 2 months of trying. Buyer beware.

        premium wine tasting
We were promptly picked up at our AirBnB. The drive was mostly pleasant, in an air conditioned van. The tour started slowly, due to an english speaking guide not being available. The tour through the grounds was lovely. The best part was the premium wine tasting with cheese, be sure to purchase the premium package. I would have been disappointed with the general tour.

        Poor tour operator
Our trip really should have been canceled and refunded. Farellones was closed due to no snow, and that was to be 70% of the trip. The tour operator let us know the day before, but would not let us cancel. We had no interest in skiing, but they stuck us on the "ski day" and made it a "panoramic tour", which was just driving around to the closed ski resorts. The tour guide was kind and tried his best, but got stuck with a poor situation, trying to appease us, who they should have just refunded. To top it off, the driver got lost on the way home (I know...who gets lost driving in the Google Maps age), so the drive home took almost 3 hours. Poor all-around effort from SmartTour.

        Amazing trip and team
The trip to Farellones and Valle Nevado was better than we plan. All the team, since the first contact by email/WhatsApp to the final, when we arrived at hotel, was so attentious!

        Genial!
Malu and Diogene were super! The tour in Valparaiso was very beautiful. Malu explained us a lot of things of the city. She speked english, spanish and portuguese to let everyone understand everything. We loved her!

        Worthwhile
Props to the guide - Rodrigo! He was very funny and had an amazing knowledge about the cities Valparaiso and Viña del Mar. The tour was interesting and versatile. Our highlight was the tasty lunch on the beach in a restaurant of Viña del Mar.

Highly recommend this tour. Loved learning about the history of chile from our tour guide rodrigo. Valparaiso was the best. Eye candy around every corner.

        First Time Snowboarders
Given the two options of visiting Farellones and Valle Nevado or just skiing/snowboarding at Valle Nevado we did the latter. As the only English speakers on a large bus full of Portuguese speakers, Gabriel our guide made us feel very welcome and included. We got picked up promptly from our hotel and headed to a rental shop to get gear. The rental shop staff were very friendly but didn't speak English so Gabriel helped get us the help we needed. Gabriel even asked us if we needed lessons since it was our first time and he agreed to give us a private lesson of sorts. To be honest, the two of us first timers struggled a lot and Gabriel was patient and helpful, like a really supportive friend who happens to be an incredible snowboarder. Every teacher is different and he was very encouraging and pushed us to challenge ourselves and I was very appreciative. We had an incredible experience overall and would've been lost and confused without Gabriel's help. Also, Gabriel's knowledge of Chilean history, geology, ecology, and more was icing on the cake, we could not get enough of hearing how familiar he is with the mountain range.

Had a great time snowboarding at La Parva!
Was a very excellent value for the experience and they picked us up right at our door! Guide was knowledgeable, friendly and went out of his way to make sure we made it home safe and sound.

Take your own coffee and sandwich if you do not want to be ripped off at the first stop, and avoid buying wine four times its value.
If you think a walk in the run-down Valparaiso watching barb wired walls and vandalized murals is an enjoyable activity, then take this tour. The historic port, with a boat ride included, was a charming exception. At lunch time, just run away from the prices and extremely poor service at the restaurant they book for you. A much better idea is a walk on the beach and buying something to eat there. To finish off, the tour guide Gabriel was friendly but not very knowledgeable. Which is a common trait among chilean guides.

Highly, highly recommend! A fantastic trip, jam-packed with beautiful sites, scenery, and food. The tour was offered in Portuguese and English, and we had Gabriel and Eduardo as our host and driver.

Gabriel's communication was wonderful. He gave thorough descriptions of the sites in both languages, and I enjoyed how he weaved humor and personal anecdotes into his explanations. We started the day with breakfast/coffee/souvenir shopping at Rio Tinto Casablanca (?), then drove to Valparaiso. Here, we walked through gorgeous murals, saw sea lions on our boat ride, and learned about the history of the port. Next, we went to Viña del Mar for an excellent meal (loved the ceviche! note: you have to pay for your meal, so bring credit/debit card or cash, and budget accordingly!), ocean views, and Moai-spotting.

I love how we were able to cover so much within this trip. I felt safe with my backpack/luggage in the vehicle, and I would recommend this adventure to anyone visiting Chile, as a way to explore the country beyond Santiago!

Guide: Gabriel, Driver: Eduardo — Both fantastic, with great communication! (:

We took an all-day tour to Viña and Valparaíso.
VINEYARD is charming, lots of green, flowers, everything well cared for. Nice people. The sunset in the Pacific is great. Lots of gastronomic offer. We taste a lot of well-made seafood, things that we don't buy in our country. Quiet city. I would return.
VALPARAÍSO on the hills, has its charm in the narrow and steep streets. The brakes that vehicles should have!!!!! The elevators: I used one as we know it, which is inside a former coal mine, and another one of the ones we see in the photos. In this city you have to walk more carefully on the streets, there is a certain insecurity.

I did this tour and it was an incredibly awful experience. After being picked up at 6:30am, the driver drove around in circles picking everyone else up for over 2 hours.
The tour is listed as being 9 hours long, and it lasted over 12 hours.
The only reason it was even that short was because the tour guide felt bad we were on the bus for so long in the morning and said they will drop us off first, promising by 5:30 because he knew we had a reservation at night. We didn’t get back until after 6:30 because they dropped off the tour guide and a few guests first, not going directly to our hotel as promised, and adding over 40 minutes to the eta that was determined when leaving Valparasio. Thus we ended up having to cancel our reservation. To top it all off, the driver was incredibly unsafe, constantly swerving between lanes because he was talking to the tour guide the whole time. The information that was provided was also very minimal. I learned a lot more information just reading Wikipedia about these locations. Lastly, after a long day, they finally took us to lunch at a restaurant that was vastly overpriced and the food inedible. We complained to the company and they refunded our trip but regardless, this was the worst tour experience I’ve ever had and would never recommend it.

This was an awful experience, which fortunately only lasted until we finally, after a very long and grueling bus ride, got to Valparaiso, As soon as could finally get off the bus at our destination, we ditched the group and explored Valparaiso and Vina del Mar on our own.

The reason we explored on our own is because it took a full 4 hours to get to Valparaiso, and I didn't want to spend nearly the entire day on a small and cramped bus (with less legroom than on an airplane seat in economy). On the way to Valparaiso, which again took 4 hours, the bus drove around and around the city picking up other tourists. I understand there are other tourists that have to be picked up, but it took nearly 2 hours to even get out of the city after I was picked up. And it that wasn't bad enough, there was a lengthy intermediate stop for breakfast, with extremely limited food options.

I might have overlooked the very long time we spent on the bus (did I mention that it took 4 hours to reach our destination?), had the tour guide been knowledgeable, but she was not. Everything she told us (which was not much) you could find on Wikipedia.

Finally, Smart Tour did a very poor job of communicating with us.

      Super punctual in collection.
The tour through Valparaíso could have been better accompanied. For those who don't know, there's nothing like pointing out the main attractions on the streets, in this case the most famous murals or spots, such as the colorful stairs that we didn't see, despite being right below the place where they picked us up.
The view of Pablo Neruda's house was from a long distance and without even getting off the bus.
We managed to see sea lions and pelicans.

I was visiting Chile from the US and booked this trip through TripAdvidor. They answered promptly to questions before the trip and kept everyone informed until the end. The guide Alejandro was very knowledgeable and upbeat, he made the trip very enjoyable. The driver Juan Pablo was very courteous and did a good job with driving, and keeping everyone safe and comfortable. We stopped for lunch in Villa Del Mar and de food was absolutely delicious.

It was a very cool tour. We had a great guide/driver who knows a lot about the history and places. What's more, he is very kind and helpful - helping passengers with seats in the van, helping to choose dishes in the restaurant and giving tips at stopping points.
Furthermore, it has an excellent “play list” of Brazilian music. Ask Mr. Antonio as a guide.
      Very good value for money.

We enjoyed our day trip to Valparaiso and Vina del Mar tremendously. We had low expectations, given that we were the only English speakers on a tour with Portugese speakers. Rodrigo assured us that he could handle the duality, and he did it masterfully! We were very impressed by not only his care in providing all the information in both languages, but also in taking pictures, providing suggestions for other activities, ensuring an allergy was recognized during lunch. Valparaiso and Vina del Mar share a bay, but are so very different; seeing the contrast was stunning. There were many moments we will treasure, but the highlight was seeing the Moai from Rapa Nui. We have fabulous memories from our day on the tour; we are so pleased we did it, and would certainly recommend it.

I hired Smart Tour for a trip in January, for tours in February I was impressed with the professionalism and care of the entire team. They managed to take care of everything ensuring that everyone on the tour got the most out of it. The Andes, Safari Park, Vina del Mar and Valparaiso tours are closed, as well as the Portilho tour. We really liked everything. Congratulations to all of you
