About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Trail541224472450 contributionsSmall is bestAfter a memorable guided tour of Valparaiso with Julio_Turismo_Chile-Santiago_Santiago_Metropolitan_Region. prior to our Antarctic Cruise, we contacted Julio to pick us up after completing the cruise to show us the highlights of San Antonio and then Santiago. Once again we were delighted to be shown around the many attractions of these two cities. Julio is very knowledgeable on all things Chilean and we enjoyed learning about both the history and culture in these towns. The Chileans are rightfully proud of their country and Julio is a great ambassador We highly recommend his personalised services.Written February 15, 2024

- John H0 contributionsGreat day out!Diego was a superb guide and driver. Great views and variety and efficient pick up and return to hotel. Small bus, friendly. Info on trip advisor should be more detailed and attention given to correct departure time. When we booked it said 8am, after booking 12 noon and we we’re actually picked up at 6.20pm after WhatsApp message the evening beforeWritten November 18, 2023
- Donnald R0 contributionsGood tour, poor groupThe tour, tour guide and driver were good. We were a group of 5 with a group of 4. The group of 4 spread out in the first 2 rows, while we were cramped in the back. Told 15 minutes at a stop, they took 40. Nothing said. Next stop 10 minutes, they took 25. This occurred all day. Kind of irked the rest of us. Again, tour was as expected and certainly feel for guide needing to be a babysitter, but the 4 people ruined the tripWritten April 18, 2023
- FarAway369825120250 contributionsWorth it.Worth it. Hotel pickup is convenient. Only 7 people so pickups were fast. Seeing the maoi from Easter Island was a highlight. Time to walk around with the group and solo. Sergio looked up answers when he didn’t know (why is rapa nui Chile if it’s 3000 miles away?) (because Chile protected the Māori tribe there from slave stealing Peruvian and other countries’ ships).Written March 1, 2023

- Brendablonde0 contributionsAmazing Street Art!This was so much fun! Learned some things about the history & culture of Valparaiso & Vina Del Mar & Chile as well. Our tour guide was Helen & she was delightful! Very knowledgeable,& really wanted to share her knowledge about her country. She also wanted everyone to have a good time & was happy to answer all our questions. She is very warm & outgoing & just pleasant to be around. You will see some amazing Street Art & graffiti! I'm telling you,it's phenomenal!! We also enjoyed a delicious lunch & she recommended several restaurants to try. The stop at the winery was also very nice. Very pretty winery & nice people working there as well. The Sparkling Rose we tasted was delicious! Helen made sure we all enjoyed ourselves & the tour, sign up for this one! You will not be disappointed!Written July 31, 2022
- FellowTraveler8114530 contributionsAn awesome and rejuvenating experienceWe were a party of 5 from Canada and booked a full day excursion of Cajon del Maipo from Santiago. We were picked up from our Airbnb early in the morning and started our day. It was a bit of a ride and our bus was a bit cramped; however we were able to admire the beautiful scene along the way. Upon reaching, we were given some time to enjoy the hot springs; it was an awesome experience in the hot springs, surrounded by the towering mountains. After our rejuvenating dip in the hot springs, we started our return drive to Santiago. On the way, we stopped by for a picnic provided by our friendly driver and guide George. We enjoyed the snacks, juice and wine provided. All in all, besides the car being crammed and uncomfortable, it was a rewarding experience. We left with pleasant memories.Written March 20, 2020

Our guide was Consuelo and our driver was Jean Pierre. There were simply EXCELLENT. We were picked up at the airport hotel and had a great drive to the hot springs. The hot springs were great fun and well worth the visit. The pools are of differing temperatures to suit all tastes and although the facilities are a bit rudimentary (don't forget to take a towel!!), it is a really fun day out with friends. We stopped for a wonderful parilla meal on the way back before being dropped tired and very happy at the airport. Many thanks to Consuelo and Jean Pierre for a great day out.

Rodrigo was a wonderful guide, very punctual and knowledgeable. The Hot springs were very nice, just be sure and take a towel and if possible a dressing gown from your Hotel. The Chocolate house we visited was amazing
