Maaluu was a fantastic, flexible narrator of our Wine Tasting Journey through the Maipo Valley. Each of the 3 wineries we stopped at where unique. The first stop at Undurraga Winery, Leo took us through a detailed excursion through the breathtaking grounds and a detailed visual description of the wine making process from grape to bottle. Ending with a delightful and educational tasting.
The second winery, involved being served a different variety of Italian inspired wines with our homemade Italian lunch of our choice at our cost.
Juan hosted us at the third winery, and took us through a different organic process, and farm. The tasting and tour was filled with flavorful surprises!
Wine was plentiful at every stop and transformed a van full of worldwide strangers into very happy sojourners. Thank you for a fantastic Chilean Wine experience.

This Tour was a great deal of fun and very informative. The first and largest winery was super informative and the winery was quite impressive. The group consensus was that the actual wines sampled there were not very impressive.
The lunch at the Italian restaurant in the second winery was excellent and the wines sampled were a hit!Surprising to find such great food in a small out of the way restaurant.
The mist surprising stop was the last winery from a small family vineyard where the host and his wife and brother pulled out all the stops to offer a fantastic time.
This was my favorite stop on the trip!
The only reason this tour did not earn 5 stars from me was the fact that the Tour guide,Maria, found herself without child care for her 3 year old daughter on this holiday in Chile, and had to bring her along on the tour.
While I sympathize with thus mother’s predicament,it meant that most of her time was spent. Sting for her daughter and Not performing her duties as a guide.
We saw almost nothing of her at all 3 stops and heard very little comments going or coming on the Tour.

I don’t normally write reviews, but thought Maaluu and Juanito deserve recognition for providing an outstanding experience. I initially booked the white wine tour at Casablanca, but due to numbers it didn’t go ahead, so was given the option of joining this one. And, I’m glad I did. I loved our group, the wines were delicious and Maaluu was highly entertaining whilst also having an excellent knowledge. We stopped for lunch at a restaurant located in a picturesque vineyard and I felt Maaluu was genuinely interested in helping each of us get the best wine pairing for our sumptuous meals. I took the tour on my last day in Santiago before flying home and can state without exaggeration that not even my 14 hour flight back could wipe the smile off my face. Thank you so much Maaluu and Juanito

We are just back from a fabulous wine tour. We had a brilliant time and couldn’t recommend it enough.
Pick up was exactly on time from our hotel and we took the one hour journey to our first vineyard. The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and the wine tastings were very generous!
We followed this with a wine tasting at a second vineyard restaurant where the food was delicious and the wine plentiful! Our final stop was a family farm for a great tour and tasting with snacks.
We would highly recommend the tour. We were collected at about 8:15am and returned to our hotel about 6pm. Claudio and Juan were brilliant guides who made our trip really enjoyable! 10/10!

Our guide Sebastion and driver Juan Carlos did an awesome job. This tour had everything, a very informative tour and tasting at Vina Udurraga which produces over 2 million cases of wine a year, an entertaining tour and tasting (wine and pisco) at the farm Campo La Quiringa - "John" injected a lot of humour into our tour of the farm, showing us the beginnings of an orchard, chickens (pets or egg layers), life stock and a stash of a drink reserved for special celebrations. In between we had a delicious lunch at Zinfandel restaurant paired with wines. A great day.

Without a doubt this was my favorite experience in our trip to Chile.
Our marvelous adventure started early morning at our hotel where we were picked up by the tour bus and warmly welcomed by Malu (our excellent tour guide) and Juanito (our wonderful bus driver).
Malu is a passionate wine enthusiast and it shines through all day as she guides you through the different wineries in Maipu Valley. Her warm personality resembles that of an old friend you have not seen in a while and truly makes all the difference in the experience and making all of us feel at home. She narrates the tour both in English and in Spanish languages with great detail and care to give all a history on Chile and how wine evolved to be a huge part of that history.
The vineyards were individually unique in size which gave us a great range of perspective on how different vineyards produce their wines. The middle stop is where you have lunch at the fabulous Italian restaurant Zifandale located at Vina TerraMater.
I don't want to give away too many details, but this full-day journey is one that will warm your hearts and your bellies! Highly recommend this tour experience. I would give 100 stars rating if i could! Thank you!!

We went two colleagues to kill time on the weekend before a busy week working with customers here in Santiago. We've been in Santiago before and have been on a great wine tour previously in the area. This time we decided to take the whole day to visit multiple vineyards, knew we were never going to be disappointed with the quality of the wines here in Chile.
This started out with pickups from the hotels, we were the first so had a lot of pickups to cover. This was not a problem, time flew by quickly as the guides had lots of great and entertaining information to share while we were collecting people.
Once everyone was onboard and after driving through the countryside we went to visit Undurraga. Just as expected from our previous visit; great vineyard with lots of good history to share and not to mention great wines to taste. All that we were expecting.
Now we come to the unexpected great part of this tour. After a very nice lunch in a great restaurant (where we were treated to more great wine), we ended up driving into the middle of nowhere. Tree branches were hitting the bus while we were driving on this very narrow dirt road and you couldn't help but wondering where we were ending up.
Ended up being in a small artisanal/craft winery run by Mr. Ballek, a cinematographer by trade but who is running this family vineyard to make craft wines using only traditional methods. This was truly an experience we did not expect. Good conversation, good wines, great atmosphere. Truly a hidden gem we did not expect. Ended up being a very long day, but did not regret a single minute of it.
Highly recommended! This is truly something different.

I went on this tour of the Maipo wine region this December with three friends and we had an amazing time!
The small bus picked us up at our AirBnB around 8:45am and then off we went, led by our funny and charismatic tour guide, Malu. She gave us engaging bits of info as we made our way to and between stops and made great and honest wine recommendations.
We first went to Underraga, then TerraMatter where we ate a delicious lunch (not included in the price of the tour), and then to Vinas Las Praderas. The last was my favorite, a small family owned winery on a farm with lots of cute animals and tasty reds (and some pisco too!).
We then drove home and were again dropped off at our hotel around 6:30-7pm.
It was a long day and three vineyards was a lot of wine to try but with some pacing (“solo un poco por favor!”) it was doable, delicious, and decidedly worth it.
Highly recommend!

The tour itself was excellent and really fun. The three vineyards were varied and provided different information. and experiences. My score is lowered only by the fact that the pickup was an hour late, which I would have known if I had known to download and check WhatsApp. Also the van did not have working seatbelts for everyone.

Kind of a weird “wine tour” all things considered. This was more a taxi service to some vineyards than an actual “tour”, and included a weird (and quite lengthy) stop for lunch at a place that you had to pay for. Overall this is nothing like traditional wine tours where they teach you about the wines and vineyards and regional specific issues, it’s basically a taxi service that ferries you to a couple of spots. If our group hadn’t been super fun this would have been a kind of lame experience, and I would have regretted taking this particular tour. Luckily our group was awesome and we had a blast, but keep in mind if you’re looking for an educational or traditional “wine tour” you’d be better off with an Uber and access to Google.

It's great that you have fun at least. The tour is very informative but we give space for fun as well. Maybe your group was too active and don’t let you listen all the informations but this tour go trough wine as part of agricultural production of Chilean countryside but we also show different aspect as fruits and animals production. This tour is mainly wine but not unique that, it have gastronomy, Large, medium and small wine production, country life, local people. Not fully touristic stop for pictures. As you said it's not the traditional wine tour. There is too many identical wine tours in the world. We like to do it in our way. The fun time is part of what we provide so the group can be relax and enjoy the experience.

What time does this tour start and end at the end of the day? We have a late night flight leaving santiago airport but would love to do this tour before we leave that day!

Hi,
I was wondering how many people do you typically have on the wine tours. We prefer small group tours.
Thank you.

Hi,
Yes it includes pick up from Santiago hotels. We were at the Renaissance Santiago (Vitacura) which is not in the main part of the city. No issues with pick up. They were on time.
