Beautiful Valparaiso with a great tour guide
Mar 2020
Valparaiso is a colorful artistic city far more beautiful than Santiago so definitely worth a trip with Turistik. Their operation is very professional. You are picked up from your hotel in the morning and they bring you back in the evening. You visit a winery for tasting, Valparaiso and the beach of Vina del Mar where you can have excellent lunch. But what really made the trip suburb was our guide Daniel. During the trip he told us so much about the country Chili and about Valparaiso so that the entire trip get so much more meaning. Thanks Daniel for a great experience!

Beautiful Day with Eduardo and Jose
Mar 2020 • Family
My family had a great experience doing the Vina del and And Valparaiso Day Trip from Santiago. We decided to take this trip after travelling with Turistik the day before doing the Hop on Hop Off Tour. J’ose is a kind and safe driver while Eduardo was a knowledgeable and fun tour guide. He shared his own experiences and tied it in well with the tour. He even took beautiful pictures of my family and I at no extra charge. I highly recommend this tour if you’re a wine lover. We visited Veramonte winery and got two complimentary glasses of wine. I recommend the red, called Carmenere. Loved this trip, it was the highlight of my vacation. I really appreciate Eduardo and Jose for making it so special.

Cheers,
LD

Best tour of Vina Del Mar & Valparaiso ever!
Jan 2020
This tour met our needs perfectly! I scheduled it for the day that we were supposed to leave Santiago and go to Valparaiso and, through correspondence with the company in advance, I was able to arrange to take our luggage along on the bus and be dropped off in Valparaiso instead of returning with them to Santiago. The tour itself was wonderful. Turistik seems to be the largest tour company in the area and has very well-coordinated services. The only drawbacks being the use of large busses, rather than smaller vans—so larger groups; and groups containing both English and Spanish speakers—so the guide had to give information in both languages, which became tedious at times. The guide, however, was awesome—friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. He provided us with lots of history and cultural info + the geography and economy of the region, and he even touched on local politics! We stopped at the Veramonte Winery in the Casablanca Valley to sample their wines. The view of the vineyards from their back deck was wonderful! Once in Valparaiso, we exited the bus at the top of Concepcion Hill and wound our way down, following the guide as he pointed out hundreds of colorful murals along the way. (I have never seen so much amazing street art anywhere in the many places we have traveled at home or abroad!) We saw Pablo Neruda’s house (La Sebastiana) across the way as we began our descent, passed the “cruise ship house,” and ended up in Yugoslavo Square, where we saw two large palaces that had been built by Yugoslavian immigrants—one of them (Palacio Baburizza) now houses the Museo Municipal de Belles Artes. Back on the bus, we headed for the newer beach resort town of Vin Del Mar. After a photo stop at the famous flower clock—a symbol of the town, we drove along the coast road, passing small castles built by German immigrants, to the casino on the boardwalk (which generates 50% of the town’s income), to a lovely glass-walled restaurant on the beach where we had lunch. Although we left the tour at that point, we felt that this was one of the best tours we have done. We saw so much and learned so much about Chile and its history and culture in such a short time. Again, I can’t say enough about the professionalism of the guide, the skill of the bus driver, and the organization of the company. We definitely recommend Turistik to anyone traveling in Chile!

A full and fun day
Daniel was a delightful guide. He is very interactive and knowledgeable.
Luis was our driver and he is very safe and on time.
I recommend asking for Daniel and luis.
Wear a long sleeve shirt, swear shirt or jacket. The weather is cooler than Santiago.

Enjoyable, Viña del Mar And Valparaiso Day Trip
This is our second tour with Turistik company. We were glad that our guide was Eduardo for the second time. He is easy going and fun . During the whole tour he gave great information in history, economy and culture of Chile in general and Viña del Mar And Valparaiso specifically. This is an appropriate quick tour option if you have limited days to spend in Santiago. It goes through the high lights of each of these two cities. You will have enough time to explore each area by yourself. My husband and I had only three days to spend in Santiago and this was a perfect tour for us. Eduardo as courtesy took nice pictures for us with his own camera and send them to us. We did appreciate that greatly. At last but not least our driver Mario did an amazing job driving us safely. Many thanks goes to Eduardo and Mario.

This was a great tour. Stopping at a winery for testing on the way to Valparaiso. Daniel guided us through the streets that were lined with colourful buildings. We stopped at the flower garden and beach, and had lunch at a great restaurant at the ocean.
