The visit begins at the wine cellar, where visitors will be cordially greeted by a bilingual tour guide who will invite them to tour the winemaking facilities enjoying panoramic views of the vineyards. This is the perfect place to learn more about the process of winemaking, also about organic and biodynamic agriculture. The tour finishes with a wine tasting at the underground tasting room or the outer terrace facing the vineyards.

          Great city+ tour
We really enjoyed the tour. Our guide Consuelo Gutiérrez was very knowledgeable and professional. She and the driver not only showed us many interesting places around the city, but they also took us to the country side to explore beautiful nature and nearby small towns that tourists normally don’t get to see. We had a great time.

Wonderful experience and excellent tour guide
This is a great trip. Itinerary is well designed. Our tour guide Alexis Soto is magnificent. He is kind, courteous, friendly, funny and very knowledgeable. He even showed Chilean traditional dance forms by dancing himself! He kept us very well informed of every step of the trip from start to finish. He is phenomenal!!! Our driver David is a great driver too. Overall, I enjoyed the trip thoroughly.

          Happy with MTO Tours Chile
We booked two tours with get your guide and both were run by MTO Tours. One to Canyon Maipo the other one to Valparaiso. We enjoyed both. Guides spoke good English. For the Valparaiso our guide was Alexis. He is enthusiastic and interesting to listen to.

Great Tour - Hope you get Alexis!
Alexis was our guide — because of him the tour was so good! Very helpful, friendly, funny, and super knowledgeable of all things you’d want to know. Great recommendations. The lineup of the tour was well thought out. The winery tasting was not our style, chocolate wine, sweet wine, etc, but they had some delightful bottles for sale. Valparaiso and Viña Del Mar were gorgeous, and walking tour was fun and informative. Alexis clearly knew just what he was doing, very competent. We found his English easy to understand. Kind of amazing that he was able to keep a bus full of all different tourists in line lol. And seamlessly switch from one language to another. Great tour! If you do this, hope you get Alexis!

A Good Evening with an Opportunity for Improvements
The tour was mostly driven with two stops: Bicentennial Park and Santa Lucia Hill. Luis did a good job with his commentary, but stops to walk around Plaza des Armas and the Presidential Palace areas (rather than drive-bys) would have been nice. On the dinner and show, my wife and I tend to avoid folklore shows (this was a last minute substitution for another tour that was canceled). The dinners tend to be mediocre and the shows hokey. This one’s food was quite good and plentiful. The show was OK. They had music, song, and dances from the four parts of the Chilean nation – South, Central, North, and Rapa Nui (Easter Island). The challenge for us was the time in-between each section to allow for costume changes. The MC sang a pop song and went around the room asking everyone where they were from. They also had a tribute to couples celebrating their anniversaries and people celebrating birthdays. The transitions got pretty hokey. The first three parts of the main music and dancing (South, Central, and North Chile) had some good traditional music and dancing. However, the part on Rapa Nui was pretty over the top, with scantily clad women and men and war dances. I suspect a Rapa Nui native might object. In summary, with some improvements, the tour was good. If you like folklore shows, you should like this one.

          Great day and experience
The trip was amazing with a great view through the Andes. Can’t believe how light blue the reservoir was. Our guide Edison was so knowledable. To drive all the switchbacks was a challenge and his ability to take the switchbacks on was great. We made stops to take pictures as promised. Lunch as promissed was great and not part of the tour as promissed. I wish the “picnic” was overlooking the mountains and resevoir and probably should not have been held 15 minutes after lunch. Pickup and length of tour were as promissed

          A great day out
A lovely day trip, the lake is a real stunner and the whole vibe of the day was relaxing and peaceful. That said the drive is pretty scary in places, but Edison was superb.

The tour is very complete, and the landscapes are incredible
I took this tour with my husband and we really enjoyed the route. The tour is very complete, and the landscapes are incredible. The guide explains everything very clearly, which makes the experience even more enriching. Valparaíso is a perfect city for those who enjoy street art and history. On the other hand, Viña del Mar offers the most beautiful connection with the Pacific Ocean you can have. As a recommendation, don't go to the restaurant they take you to. There are much nicer and cheaper places around the area. About this specific Agency, i will list some pros and cons: Pros: The itinerary is great; they give you perfect amounts of time to enjoy each stop. The bus is comfortable, the driver is professional. The guide, Joddah, was very kind and clear with all instructions. He has great communication skills and is also very polite, which is hard to find. Cons: The logistics and communication could be improved. First of all, they sent us all messages in English. Although I speak and understand English, it's not my first language, and my husband doesn't speak it at all. We're both from Chile. Another issue is that we provided our address and chose this specific tour because the publication said they would pick us up in Providencia. However, the day before the tour, they informed us that the pick-up would be 2 km away from our location. When I asked why they couldn't pick us up at our address, they told me we were "too far" from the pick-up area. We had to walk 2 km with our backpacks to the "meeting point." Here’s the funny part: after we got on the bus, they continued picking up passengers, and the driver even went to pick up another passenger who was waiting very close to the address we had originally provided.

          Recommend this tour
Great tour. Gonzalo was a great (but fast) driver. Felt safe. Enjoyed the tour and scenery. The hot springs were wonderful. The driver was also the tour guide… we had 3 languages in our bus and Gonzalo did a wonderful job of translating it all. Would definitely recommend.

We had lunch at the Matetic restaurant before our winery tour and it was excellent. Delicious home made soup, slow cooked beef to die for and a tasty milk pudding to finish. It was served with a fresh tasting glass of sauvignon blanc and a less impressive young Syrah. The service was very good although we didn’t appreciate the very obvious request for a tip from the waiter - not very classy! The tour of the winery was excellent by an enthusiastic and very passionate guide. A lovely afternoon overall.
