- Edson S00Not so recomendedAll right but when we travel to viña del mar, we went to a restaurant that sell peruvian and not chilean food, high price and bad meal and service. Not so good people with us and the driver of our bus. That peruvian restaurant was a tourist trap
- stillings197200Airport TransferWe booked an airport pick up private transfer. Our airline cancelled the flight on the day of pick up but MTO Tour stated that there would be no refund for the prepaid pick up because we did not contact them 24 hours in advance. How were we to know the airline would cancel our flight on the day of? We requested the cost be transferred to the next day but MTO refused and kept our money with no refunds. Terrible company. Warning to others not to use this company. Don’t believe the advertised free cancellation.
- JVS29445200General trip for getting information about the region around SantiagoIt was a nice trip and Diego, the guide made his best to please us. He presented all the information in Portuguese and English. He fulfilled the programme as promised.
- 888leop00Bad restaurant in Viña del Mar - Chinqui RestaurantHello, today we had a bad experience at the Chinqui restaurant in Viña del Mar. We took a tour of Valparaíso and Viña del Mar, the tour guide recommended this restaurant. The stop was 2 hours to enjoy lunch. However, our order was never taken and we waited 1 1/2 hours for a meal that never came. As a foreign tourist in Chile it was a bad experience. I do not recommend this establishment.
- leighcM4248GS00Wreck and rudeAvoid at all cost! They wrecked the van!! Rude response to my pleas. Bad service all around then refused refund for trip they canceled. Don’t take a chance.
- D7133UQdianeo00Lovely ExperienceOur private tour with Jaime was a lovely experience. He was informative, accommodating and personable. Jaime made us feel comfortable and even treated us to our first “mote con huesillos”! Delicious! We so appreciate his time and patience. Thank-you!
- D7133UQdianeo00Wonderful ExperienceThe dinner show was a wonderful experience! The service was professional and servers were courteous and pleasant.
- karendQ2408WR00An informative and fun tripIt was a great experience. The day before the trip, I got informed about what was going to happen through my WhatsApp. I was picked up on time. The trip was fun, the guide was super good at telling about Chile without turning it onto a long boring story. Salvador, the guide, and Jimmy the driver, have great humor and positive energy. I highly recommend it.
- santosg51000Great TourGreat full day tour. Views, history and many pictures on this tour. Not to mention our guide Salvador was very accommodating and never rushed us. Thank you Salvador.
- brittneybV5657VJ00We had fun!Great tour! Daniel was a great guide! We had fun going around the city. Overall, I would recommend and go again
- 989joanneh00Fun day trip!An excellent trip! I had a great time chatting with Luis, the guide and driver. He told me about the changes in Santiago during and after COVID and how he thinks it affected daily life. As for Isla Negra, the house is beautifully maintained and has a lot of fun, quirky aspects to it. (La Chascona is another quirky Neruda house in Santiago.). Pomaire is a nice little place to see ceramics, one pound empanadas, and pastel de choclo (chicken and beef pie with corn bread crust).
- 75demir00Beautiful hotsprings, not really a engling guideThe hotsprings were beautiful and the landscape too! We booked the tour in english.. that was a bit hard for our tpurguide as he only spoke little english… also the driver was our tourguide (the description says otherwise). He was really nice and tried his best, but us englishspeakers didn‘t get all the information.
- amr3zz00Good trip and well organizedWe enjoyed this trip a lot as it was well organized and we had 18 people with us most of the Brazilian and it was such fun hanging with them as they were super friendly and we lived the hot thermal water and taking nice pics
- clarak73100Beautiful nature and great day break from the cityAbsolutely beautiful scenery, great fun and a very nice and helpful guide. A great day trip if you want to see some of Chile’s breathtaking nature and get a break from the city.
- Selina20460900Great experience with tour guide DiegoI booked this tour 24 hours before departure and was delighted with the overall experience and the level of knowledge provided by the tour guide. I'd highly recommend Diego

The place is really nice, surrounded by mountains and hills. During this time of the year it gets pretty chilly in the shade, so be sure to bring some appropriate clothing.
There are some streams and waterfalls to visit, as well. There's a short but uphill path to walk. As long as you're not talking everyone should be able to make it, even the elderly.
Onto the experience by mtotour. Everything is automatized and not handled with any care or personal interaction at all. You're constantly reminded not to send questions or talk to mto, but only to the guide.
The guide only gets assigned during the previous night, though so if you had any questions, It's too late by then.
The guide drives the van and talks at predetermined points, like a robot. He doesn't interact with the passengers. Terrible English. No Portuguese. Only Spanish.
He also ignores questions and responds in a bad manner. Honestly, he shouldn't be working there if he doesn't like it.
After arriving to the start location for the final walk, he stays behind, and another (better) guide takes his place.

This was such an awesome tour! A previous tour guided recommended that we don't book a too expensive tour for the Andes because there are so many great ones within a reasonable price range, and I can tell you this was one of them. It was a great day with a mini hike (maybe 10-15mins). Pay attention the car ride! The views are great. Our tour guide, Jaime was awesome and super knowledgeable about the area. I recommend bring some cash for the breakfast stop, you can grab a coffee and empanada.

Really enjoyed my experience, I booked it quite late in the afternoon the day before . Communication was good , got my pick up time confirmed. The guide Diego was very friendly and helpful. The information given about the trip was very misleading, not accurate, etc...
It is a twelve hour tour. The guide clarified it when we were picked up. It is NOT 6 to 8 hours as listed. Also did not state you will be walking on dirt stone road for 2 hours or walking through a dark tunnel, so you need a flashlight.

SCAM! Do not book this tour. I booked, never received the email about what time I would be picked up. I have called, left voicemail, sms, whatsapp messages and calls, email, and through instagram messages and have not received a response. This pretty much has ruined my only weekend of vacation.

Very great experience. Precise information beforehand, the guide was on time just like I was told, he spoke Portuguese, Spanish and English, and made several ocmments throughout the way and also when we got there. There's a stop for breakfast and even jacket/boot/gloves rental if you're not equipped enough for the cold, but I particularly thought the weather was great. When we came back, there was a stop for lunch at the central square of the town, really cute place. Totally recommend. The picnic is just a quick snack, don't count on it if you're really hungry, the lunch was afterwards, on your own budget (which was pretty cheap, compared to Santiago prices). Overall, great value for price.

Worse tour experience ever. Very insulting and rude. They called at 10:30 pm to say pick up moved to 5:50am. (Was supposed to be 7am). Then did not show. Called at 6:45am to say van crashed. Wanted to move date or wait around to see if another van found. We did not want a partial rushed tour. Now refusing refund for tour they cancelled!!
Do not take a chance with this company!

It was a really early hotel pick up - 5 am, but it was fine because we avoided traffic and were already in the San Jose area when the sun rose.
Lake was beautiful and the walk wasn’t hard. It was amazing to see the Andes mountains surrounding the area.
Picnic wasn’t bad although if you eat a lot, don’t expect to get full on potato chips, cheese, salami slices and crackers. The wine was splendid though - a Concha y Toro Cabernet Sauvignon.
Visiting the town square and eating empanadas was a nice way to end the afternoon.
Our guide from MTO Chile was great and knowledgeable. He was also a skilled driver and got us back safe and sound.
Worth the experience!

I had a free day and decided to take advantage of this tour.
Pros - having someone else handle the driving and the incredible view.
Cons - the early pick up time (5:15 am) and the unexpected stops. Received a text the night before saying because of experiences the previous days an early pick up was necessary. Expected that the tour would be finished within the allotted 7-8 hours but didn’t get back to my hotel until after 4 - 11 hrs after leaving.
We stopped at a chocolate store and the town of San Jose which seemed unnecessary.
Also pack a sandwich for lunch - the picnic was more like snacks.
It was a very long day.

I can't describe the trip any other way than excellent. Jaime is a great driver and a very fun person, with humor, clear and easy to talk about what to see. The picnic was surprisingly good, but the most important thing is amazing view! The only thing I'd like to note is that if you're a fairly tall person, the van might be a little cramped. Thank you so much, I didn't expect that the trip would be so good.
